It was very cold outside, so when Jungkook opened the door to see Seokjin with his hands shoved in his coat pocket and his teeth chattering, he quickly pulled him inside.

"Are you cold—?"

Before he could even finish asking, Seokjin was wrapping his arms around his waist and holding him tight. The cold that had stuck onto Seokjin's padded jacket sent chills down Jungkook's back.

"Hyung," he whined as he attempted to close the door with his short reach. "You're freezing 𝘮𝘦. Aren't you a wolf? How could you be this cold?"

Seokjin backed away and scoffed at him. "I'm a human too," he said, "and I'm cold. So stop pouting and warm me up."

Jungkook didn't let him hug him again, even if he kind of wanted him to. Instead, he pushed the door closed and wrapped his fingers around the zipper of Seokjin's jacket.

"Unzip," he said as he tugged the metal down. Seokjin let him strip the jacket off of him and he took his shoes off by the door as Jungkook placed the jacket on his kitchen counter, having nowhere else to put it.

"Are you gonna warm me with cuddles?" Seokjin asked as Jungkook opened his bedroom door.

Jungkook didn't face him, too busy biting back a smile. "Isn't that what you're here for?"

He was there because he had a bad day and Jungkook was happy to be the person he sought comfort from. Happy to be asked for cuddles.

Winter was just around the corner and it was the perfect time for things like this, for getting tangled in the sheets while cuddling someone. It was perfect for Jungkook, who had no doubt in his mind now that he likes the wolf, his soulmate.

It should've been obvious from the start, that fate had put them together for a reason. Jungkook chose to ignore it at first, but the more time he spent with Seokjin, the more meaning the name on his wrist has.

Kim Seokjin inked in black letters on his wrist— it went from something to nothing to everything.

Kim Seokjin in person— the man who got on Jungkook's bed and wagged his wolf tail around expectedly as he held his hands out to the younger— meant more to him now than he ever did before.

He can be calm and playful, just like Jungkook. He's nice and respectful, good-looking, and he shares a love for food with the bunny.

And the small things.

The small things like buying him banana milk, letting him have his umbrella when he needed it, letting him keep it, or feeding him from right off of his own plate, or letting Jungkook cuddle him with no questions asked.

And the warm sensation that eased through his body as he settled on top of Seokjin, resting his cheek against his chest— it meant everything as well.

"Cold," Seokjin mumbled.

He wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist and Jungkook brushed his cheek against Seokjin's chest, hoping to warm him up some.

"You're not warm enough."

Jungkook furrowed his brows and raised up from Seokjin's chest, pouting down at him. "What? Do I look like a personal heater to you?"

Seokjin laughed lightly at him. "My personal heater, yes." He sounded too amused as he spoke. "It's okay. You're pretty, so it's okay."

Pretty.

Usually, Jungkook would do or say something back instantly, but his brain froze and repeated the word that rolled off Seokjin's tongue so easily over and over again in his head.

Pretty.

He just called him pretty.

"Pretty?" he repeated for confirmation, hoping he wasn't hearing things. Seokjin nodded.

"Mhm."

It seemed like Seokjin either didn't want to say anything else in fear of embarrassing himself, judging by his flustered laugh and his reddening ears— or maybe he just didn't know what else to say.

But he'd never said something so bold like that. Or maybe it only seemed bold because Jungkook liked it too much. Maybe Seokjin didn't know how much Jungkook would like being called pretty.

"Hyung." Jungkook sat up a bit so he could truly see Seokjin, dismissing the fact that he was basically sitting on Seokjin's abdomen now.

"Yeah?"

Now, Jungkook could not only see Seokjin's slightly panicked eyes, but he could feel the halt in the wolf's chest like he was afraid Jungkook would scold him.

"If you call me pretty again," he continued, ignoring that look in the wolf's eyes, "I might just kiss you."

Seokjin laughed lightly as if Jungkook was joking, but his ears were more red now than ever and his laugh sounded dry rather than going along with a mere joke.

"I'd like to see you do it," he decided to challenge. "Go ahead—" The wolf lifted his thumb up to Jungkook's bottom lip, then pinched gently at the pink flesh— "pretty bunny."

The pretty bunny had no thought in his mind other than Okay, I will so he pushed Seokjin's hand away and then sank back down, shutting his eyes tight so he wouldn't see Seokjin's reaction as his lips mashed into his.

His lips fell perfectly onto Seokjin's soft skin, like two feathers meeting.

Seokjin let out a surprised hum as Jungkook's hands fell to his chest, as the pretty bunny kept his word and held his lips there in fear of moving them any more than he already had.

It was only a simple press of their lips, but as Jungkook started to pull away, Seokjin was quick to raise up on his elbow and pull Jungkook in by his waist, not letting the kiss end so soon.

Jungkook shuddered as those late fall chills were wiped away with the warmth of Seokjin's lips. Seokjin kissed back more than before, taking in his bottom lip and humming again as the bunny melted in his arms.

Jungkook held tight onto Seokjin's shirt and kissed back needier this time. Both of their hearts felt like one, the soulmates feeling each other's desire— feeling how much they wanted this kiss.

If Jungkook wasn't sure before, he is now. Seokjin likes it too. He likes him too.

"H-Hyung." Jungkook pulled away, catching his breath.

Seokjin's eyes widened as he opened them, meeting Jungkook's gaze. He looked confused, yet happy with the glint in his eyes.

"You just—?" Seokjin blinked fast a few times, averting his eyes as he did. "Is this even real?"

Jungkook giggled and then pushed the wolf back into the bed, smiling away. "Of course it is," he told him. "Why would you think it isn't?"

"You just kissed me."

"And I told you I would." Jungkook giggled more as Seokjin grazed his fingers against his lips in confusion. "Do you think this is a dream or something?"

"Sort of..."

"Well, do you usually dream of me, hyung?" Jungkook teased.

Seokjin shook his head violently, denying it. He finally sat up on the bed, wrapping his arms around Jungkook to keep him there in his lap. Once they were face to face, Seokjin's eyes fell to the bunny's lips.

"Care to explain why you just kissed me?"

"I could," Jungkook muttered, "but it'll cost you another kiss, though."

With no hesitation, Seokjin stooped into his lips again, pressing multiple kisses on the bunny's face, as well as trailing the kisses down to his neck lovingly.

"Tell me," he whispered between kisses. "Did you just want to?"

Jungkook smiled to himself with each gentle kiss pressed to his skin. If he felt warm all those times before, he didn't know what this new feeling was. Much more than just warmth, though. Nothing could top this.

"Want all your kisses," he whispered back.

"That's not an explanation, bunny." Seokjin leaned back and looked him in the eyes. "I knew you've been acting different lately. I thought you just wanted to be friends..?"

Jungkook's lips set into a pout. "You're my soulmate, though. You've never been just a friend to me."

"That's not what I mean, bunny. Do you wanna be more than friends?" Jungkook nodded to Seokjin's question, his pout still faint. "Since when have you wanted that?"

"Recently." The bunny's head fell onto Seokjin's shoulder. "I'm sorry. I should've told you in a better way than this." Still, Seokjin slipped his hand into Jungkook's hair and he rubbed gently.

"Don't apologize. You just turned my bad day into an amazing night." He kissed the side of Jungkook's head. "Leave it to you to save my day."

Jungkook nuzzled into his neck and gave him a little kiss as well, loving the way Seokjin held tighter as he did.

"What does this mean, then?"

"Depends," Seokjin muttered close to his ear. "Do you wanna go on a date? Do you wanna be with me?"

Before he was even finished, Jungkook was already nodding into his neck, glad to take that kind of step with him— even though he's rusty and has no idea how to date- or if he even has time for it, but he knows he'll see Seokjin like he normally does, in his free time or at work.

Except now he gets kisses.

Kisses!

Could it get any better than that?
