Jungkook was having an alright day up until the moment he was merely walking towards the cafe he had an interview at.

He started feeling weird.

From the way his heart started beating faster and faster, the way his skin was tingling more and more, and the way he felt an urge to walk faster.

Jungkook was having an alright day up until the moment he reached for the cafe's glass door.

The door opened right before he could get to it and Jungkook's heart seemed to skip a beat as he instantly caught sight of the person's arm who had opened the door. There, under this person's nearly covered left wrist, was a little glowing name; a little white glow indicating that this person's soulmate was right in front of them— they were looking at their soulmate. There, on this person's wrist, was Jeon Jungkook.

And he almost got excited.

Jungkook wanted to meet his soulmate just like anyone else did. He'd waited so long to finally meet the person he'd love endlessly..

But as Jungkook glanced up at this person, his heart plummeted instantly once he spotted golden eyes and brown wolf ears.

It was a man that looked near his age, who stood about a foot taller than Jungkook, and it wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the fact that this was a wolf he was looking up at.

Jungkook's eyes slowly fell to his own left wrist as well, scoffing away the anger he felt as he saw his soulmate's name imprinted in his skin glowing down there: Kim Seokjin.

Kim Seokjin would just have to suck it up and be without his soulmate, though.

Jungkook quickly covered his wrist up with his sleeve and pushed by the wolf, not daring to look into those golden eyes as he did.

But something felt weird.

He's disappointed, something kept telling him. He doesn't like this.

He'd always heard about soulmates sharing thoughts and sometimes reading each other's minds, or even feeling the same thing their soulmate would feel. They'd always had some sort of bond that never revealed itself until their names glowed and they found each other.

So there was a repeating voice in Jungkook's head. It chimed like a bell over and over again. It was his own voice, but it wasn't his own doings.

He's disappointed.

Disappointed...

Somehow Jungkook started to feel it. He started to feel like someone was taking control of his mind and his own feelings and he hated it. He hated it because he didn't want it anymore.

He'd rather be mateless than have a filthy wolf as his soulmate.
