It was 10 years later. 

Megumi was crouched down, trying to plant strawberry seeds into the soil. He wiped his brow. "Farming is a lot harder than I thought."

"No complaining!" Yuuji called out as he carried some fertilizer all the way to the other field. He held 3 bags of fertilizer in his arms without even straining himself. 

After a big court battle with multiple lawyers involved, Yuuji was able to own the rights back to his father and mother's farm. 

After they graduated, Yuuji and Megumi moved to Yuuji's farm permanently and had gotten married there, holding a small gathering with family and friends. Yuuta showed up with his own partner, showing Megumi that he was able to find his own happiness while congratulating Megumi on his marriage. They were still good friends that kept in contact.  

Yuuji was also glad that he was able to continue the family business, while Megumi enjoyed being out in the countryside where it was quiet and peaceful for the most part, and he didn't have to deal with living in the city anymore. Especially since Nue had more room to fly around in the clean air. 

After Yuuji dropped the fertilizer off at the other field, he walked over to Megumi. "Do you need any help, my soulmate?" He smiled. 

Megumi just rolled his eyes, but not in annoyance, more in how cheesy it was that Yuuji felt the need to call him his soulmate ever since they found out about it. "I'll be fine, but thanks for asking." He declined.

"Hmm, alright!" Yuuji started walking away. But then he looked back and called out, "Let me know if you need anything though! I'll always be here to help you out, my soulmate! I love you!" He giggled.

Oh gosh, when was he going to get over it? But Megumi giggled too. "Got it, I'll let you know if I need anything, my soulmate. Love you too." 

And from then on, they would always be happy together. Forever.
