~ chapter ten ~

*AMBAHR'S POV*

Why? Why did I have to reveal what I really knew about Grant's soulmate?

When I woke up the day after Tyler's party, my phone was blowing up with messages from the cast. And Haylee.

Candice: we need to talk! txt me asap !!

Carlos: hey, u ok ? we haven't heard from u and we're worried sick ..

Dani: hey, what happened? one thing happened and you were gone. candice told me something about a soulmate tattoo but never finished.. do you need to talk?

But the scariest, came from Grant.

Grant: I don't exactly know what happened yesterday, but I need to talk to you. this might be really weird but we need to talk about this .. just, please ?

My soulmate tattoo was something I wasn't going to show them until I actually met him. But since I forgot and the alcohol had taken over my mind, I had revealed if. And I was not happy. Especially since I had to face them at work.

Sighing, I changed into a black Nirvana shirt, white jeans and red converse. My hair was tied up in a ponytail as I grabbed my bag and stepped outside. Heading to my BMW, people started to approach me and snap pictures, ask for autographs and questions.

'Where's Grant? Is he still with Haylee?'

'Ambahr! What does it feel to be the next big thing?'

'How do you know the cast?'

'Can I have a picture?'

After getting through the crowd, I stopped at a nearby In & Out for a milkshake before driving off towards the set.

"Ambahr!"

Turning my head, I noticed the whole cast was waiting for me as I ran to my trailer and locked everyone out. Knocks were heard as my body slipped to the floor, tears coming down from the stress.

'Hey, cmon open up! We're here for you!'

Opening the door, I was engulfed in a hug as Carlos wrapped his arms around my waist, crying into his shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay. It's gonna get better. I promise."

A couple minutes passed as I regained my composure, looking at Carlos with a sad smile.

"I.. I just don't know what to do anymore."

"You do know that Grant has the same tattoo, right?"

"What?"

"Yeah. And Haylee has the same one too."

Frowning, I realized that I could have a soulmate that was already with someone else.

"What does Haylee's tattoo say?"

"Grant's initials."

"What are we gonna do? I mean, I can't face Grant right now. Especially since Haylee is there."

"Yeah, that's probably not a good idea. Here, just get ready for your scene and then we can talk after, okay?"

Nodding, Carlos gave me a last hug before leaving me alone in my trailer. Changing into my outfit for my scene, Zoë came in to do my makeup. Smiling, she assured me that everything was going to work itself out as I nodded, hugging her before leaving to the set.

My phone was blowing up with notifications from last night's party as I chose to ignore them and put my phone on silent.

"Hey, how are you?"

Candice walked up to me as I smiled and assured her that I was indeed okay before heading to where the rest of the cast was, ready for our scene in season 2.

"Ready? Action!"

Wells jogged inside Zoom's lair, weapon high in the air as he noticed Jesse, who was chained in a nearby cell.

"Dad!"

"Hold on, Jesse! I'm coming!"

I looked over at Jesse, tears streaming down her cheeks as they managed to free Barry. Once Barry and Jesse were free from their cell, I was standing up, limping as my wrists were still chained.

"Scarlett! Dad, we can't leave her!"

"There's no time, Jesse! Zoom's coming!"

A couple seconds passed before Teddy Sears, who was playing as Zoom, grabbed Jesse. She was sobbing, as she tried flinching away from his grasp.

"I told you, I would kill you right I front of your father." He turned to Killer Frost, who was standing between Cisco and Wells, smirking before continuing, "Thank you for bring them to me."

"You helped him?!"

"I guess I'm really cold hearted."

"But-- he killed Ronnie!"

As soon as Teddy lifted his hand, Danielle put her hands out, sending Teddy back towards the cell Jesse had been in before.

"Go!"

"Thank you."

"You're right. He killed Ronnie."

Barry turned to me as everyone was leaving, as he walked through the glass and cut my chains apart, before picking me up and running towards the exit.

"Cut!"

Grant put me down as I headed towards Zoë, who had to add more makeup to my body and face. I knew I couldn't avoid him forever, but for now, I would.

Instead of being met with Grant's smile, I was met with Haylee's scowl. The one person I didn't want to see right now.

"Why the hell would you show them your tattoo?"

"Why do you care?"

"Because,  Grant is my soulmate. And now, if he finds out we both have the same tattoo, he will have to choose. And I want to eliminate the competition. Competition meaning you."

"You think you can just come here and try to push me away?"

"Yeah. That's what I'm here for. That's why I am going to be the one to get Grant in the end."

"Doesn't matter. Seems like he's more into you than realizing who his real friends are."

Walking away, Haylee's words started to sink in. She was right. Why should I even try?

Pushing back my thoughts, I walked back to the set, as it was being changed into a green screen, out setting being outside now. Grant lifted me in his arms, as the director shouted for us to start.
