[ dedicated to the lovely GoliathRider15 for becoming Haylee, our newest character in this book! enjoy! ]

*GRANT'S POV*

Walking into out set in Vancouver sometimes gave me chills. And sometimes those chills would make me reflect on the best things in life. Like how all of this, wouldn't exist if I hadn't stumbled upon that casting. It wouldn't exist if somehow the directors would think that it would be the best hit tv show. It wouldn't be possible if I wouldn't have been chosen to play as Barry Allen.

I greeted Candice, who was sitting in her chair, absentmindedly playing on her phone. She was getting ready for our scene today and Tom was in another corner with Carlos. As I neared them, I realized they were talking about our new "employee" who was supposed to be shadowing me.

"Grant! Is she here yet?"

"Not that I know of. I just got here."

Carlos raised his eyebrows as he saw me shrugging my shoulders.

"Hey Grant!"

I turned around to see our director, Kevin motioning for me to head over to him, where I noticed a girl in his presence, who was not his girlfriend.

"Uh, hey. What's up?"

"Here she is. This is Ambahr and she will be shadowing you for a couple weeks maybe."

The girl, who I know now as Ambahr, smiled and stuck out her hand for me to shake.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"Okay, so Grant, we are almost about to start the scene and I need you to get changed and everything. Head over to Betty and she will get you fitted."

I nodded as I realized Ambahr was kinda confused on where she needed to go.

"Here, you can go and sit with Tom and Carlos if you want."

Nodding, she walked over as I needed to my trailer to get ready.

*20 MIN LATER*

Full costume as Barry was pretty cool. I realized all that Barry owned, I guess, were pairs of Converse. Alright then.

"Season 2, Episode 1!"

Checking my lines, I realized that I was in the first scene.

I headed over as Andrew gave me a thumbs up.

"And ... Action!"

*2 HOURS LATER*

"Hey, uh, Grant?"

I turned around to see Ambahr, looking up at me with a shy smile.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Andrew is looking for you. Something about a 'soulmate.'"

My eyes widened as I thanked her and walked over to Andrew's trailer. Knocking twice, knowing he was in there as I heard a faint 'come in' before entering.

"Hey Grant!"

I smiled as I closed the door and raised my eyebrows.

"So, what's up?"

"Remember when you said you were 'about to meet your soulmate' conversation we had a couple weeks ago?" I nodded, "Well, uh, we had a small 'search and find' for your soulmate, and we think we found her."

"Wait, but you can't exactly "search" unless.."

"I can't search for my own soulmate but no one said I couldn't search for someone else's."

I gaped, trying to process his words. It was happening.

"So.. when can I meet her?"

"She's actually here at our lounge right now. I asked her to wait their while I talked to you."

"What's her name?"

"Haylee."

"Wow. Wait, but my tattoo says 'A.M.C.'"

"I know. Her's says 'G.G.'"

"Okay."

Andrew led me outside, towards the lounge as my hands started to sweat. I wiped them, several times, on my jeans as we got closer with each step. When we were finally outside the door, I couldn't respond. Somehow, I felt the connection through the door, like a string pulling me towards her. I was confused, afraid, and somehow, relieved. Andrew immediately saw how I hesitated as he opened the door for me, revealing a girl I couldn't take my eyes off.

For a second, I thought it was a mistake, but when she turned to look at the door, I realized our bond was somehow stronger. She stood up, smiling as she approached me.

"Hi."

She held her hand out as I took it in my own, before pulling her towards me and embracing her.

"Is it really you?"

She pulled up her tank top a bit from the edge as I admired her tattoo. It was identical to mine, with the same initials and black heart.

"I'll leave you guys alone for a while."

The door closed as I sat down with Haylee. Her brown, curly hair sat on her shoulders as she smiled, her hazel eyes sparkled with every glance as I started to notice the beautiful things about her. God, she was gorgeous. Even if I towered over her, somehow it didn't matter. As long as I was happy, it was worth it.

*AMBAHR'S POV*

"Carlos!"

We all laughed as everyone shared a bit of their past with me. It was a little awkward at first, not knowing everyone except for their roles through the tv screen, but after a while, we all got comfortable with each other.

"So, tell us about yourself. We've already shared."

I smiled as I turned to look at Carlos.

"Alright, what do you want to know?"

"Anything."

I pondered, thinking of what I could use to describe myself as I smiled.

"Well, I was born and raised in California. I have a brother and a dog. My favorite tv show is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Favorite colors are blue and red. I've dyed my hair once and I regret it. Hobbies of mine are singing, dancing, drawing, writing, photography, and making a fool out of myself."

"Wait, favorite movie?"

"Probably Back To The Future."

Carlos high-fived me as Candice smiled.

"So, Ambahr, have you found your soulmate yet?"

"No, unfortunately."

"Well, don't worry, it took this little bean 2 years to find his."

Candice patted Carlos on the shoulder as he scrunched up his face.

"Don't."

"Aww, is little Carlos embarrassed?"

His cheeks turned bright pink as he hid his face in his hands.

"So, anything you would want to do in your future?"

I turned to Tom as I smiled, nodding.

"I've always wanted to act. But also sing and somehow be a host of some kind."

"Did you want to be a lot of things when you were little."

I nodded as a little laugh escaped my lips.

"Yeah. First, I wanted to be a doctor because my aunt was one. Then I was disgusted by blood so I just kinda let that fade away. Then I wanted to be a veterinarian. I don't know how that vanished. Now, I kind of just want to be a lot of things.."

"I did too."

Footsteps were heard as Andrew came back from God knows where.

"I have news."

We all perked up as Candice urged him to tell everyone.

"I was somehow able to find Grant's soulmate."

Everyone cheered as I smiled. I could see that everyone was happy, seeing as how I heard his last girlfriend was "forging" her tattoo so that she and Grant could date. It was.. peculiar for something like this to happen, especially when soulmate tattoos were identical in different scenarios.

I've seen a couple people with the same tattoo, but different initials. Or the same tattoo, same initials, but wrong person. For me, I guess it just wasn't the right time yet.
