Curled up with a duvet over her body and hugging a pillow tightly closer to her chest she slept peacefully until the alarm starts ringing making her groan.

Groaning loudly and cursing the alarm she opens her eyes and adjusting to the brightness of the sunlight and roaming her eyes around the room she looks other side of bed and frowns finding it empty.

Rolling back on her stomach taking deep breath thought he might be in washroom but hearing no shower sounds and not seeing the lights on she wasn't able to understand where he could go.

Picking up her phone she thought of checking her phone to see if he felt any messages but finding none she got worried and immediately dials his number but it went to voicemail making her worried.

Sighing deeply she kept her phone side and getting down the bed and making the bed and slipping the slippers walks to washroom but stopped when her eyes fell on the couch finding a gift kept there.

Her lips curves into a beautiful soon as she picks the gift up and found a note attached to the gift. She looks at the note and read it loud smilingly.

"Good morning sunshine. I am sorry I had to leave very early to office because I had an important meeting to attend and I didn't have a heart to disturb your sleep when you were sleeping so beautifully. Sunshine today is your official first day at work. I wish you best wishes and I know will you be fantastic there. I missed the chance to admire you while getting but nevertheless please open the gift and I hope you will love it. Take care.

Her heart flutters as she read the note over again and felt her whole body overwhelming his sweet and thoughtful gestures. Her eyes starts glisten with fresh tears but she held her tears back and holding the gift in her hand she opens it with a smile.

Her eyes widened as she looks at the new branded smartwatch along with her favourite chocolates inside. Butterflies starts erupt inside her stomach as she took the watch out and placed it on her wrist.

Looking at the smartwatch and chocolates her heart melted seeing his affection and warmth towards her. Day by day she was developing her feelings for him. The way he's showering affection and care made her fall in love with over her face. She smiles brightly taking the watch back and keeping safely back in box and glancing at the clock thought to get ready.

Letting a groan and rushing around she quickly got ready and while doing her make up she dials Manik's number but it went straight to voicemail. She frowns and left a message on his phone and keeping her phone side starts finishing her make up.

Once she was ready she smiles grabbing the watch that Manik gifted her and puts it around her wrist and plopping the entire box chocolates in her bag she grabs her phone and walks out of the room.

Heading downstairs while checking few important emails she looks up when she heard her name being called out. She smiles widely when she found her family standing up with big smiles on her faces.

Walking up to them and greeting them who in return congratulates and gave her best wishes for the first day at office. Nandini smiles and hugs everyone.

Neyoinka : Nandini where is Manik? Is he getting ready? Is he dropping you or you will going in your car? Shall ask butlers to arrange the breakfast?

Nandini : mom, Manik has already gone to office because he had a very important meeting to attend. I will drive myself to office. No mom I think I will skip the breakfast as I am also running late.

Neyoinka : this isn't good enough. It won't take long. Please have something to eat before you. Why am I even wasting time? Let me grab something for you.

Neyoinka didn't listen to anyone and turning around she rushed inside the kitchen leaving the rest shook their heads and chuckle. Raj shakes his head and looks at Nandini pulling into her side hug.

Raj: never. I repeat never refuse Neyoinka because she has her own ways to convince people.

Nandini smiles and chuckles nodding her head while she waits for Neyoinka to return back who within few minutes rushed back holding sandwich and drink in her hand. She placed it on the table.

Neyoinka : have sit and have your breakfast. No one is rushing you. You won't be late. Take a sit.

Nandini smiling widely and nodding her head sat down keeping her stuff on side and looks at Neyoinka who sat beside her and picking the sandwich she starts feeding her making her eyes brimming with fresh tears as she remembered her mother when her mother used to fed her.

She felt so blessed to have amazing family with hers. Finishing up eating the sandwiches and gulping the drink she stood up hugging Neyoinka and kissing her cheek and thanking who caressed her head.

They broke the hug and Nandini bidding goodbye to them walks out of the mansion in hurry.

Turning the Bluetooth and blasting Manik's song in the and getting comfortable in her new car she drove away to her office while singing along with the music and enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the car.

Giving a smile to the receptionist and greeting her employees she walks thorough the corridor and entering inside her cabin her eyes widened and looked flabbergasted finding the whole cabin filled with different types of beautiful flowers around the cabin. Her eyes twinkle up seeing those flowers.

Her heart flutters up and was overwhelmed seeing her most of favourite flowers filling the cabin up. Her eyes starts glistening with tears and couldn't stop herself from sobbing as she closed the door.

Roaming her eyes around the cabin and feeling her heart was going to explode with so much happiness and joy seeing her cabin filled with the flowers.

Butterflies were erupted inside her stomach as she starts touching the flowers and picking it up smells. Shuffling her phone inside the bag she starts calling Manik but again it went to voicemail making her groan and helpless cursed her fate.

Walking towards her desk while admiring the flowers and loving the fragrance of the flowers filling the cabin her eyes fell on the desk where she found a cute note attached to a beautiful bouquet.

Her lips curves into a beautiful smile as she picks the flower and traced the note before pulling it and carefully placing the flowers and read the note out aloud while pulling the chair and sitting down.

Today is officially the first day of you at work. Sunshine you have no idea how proud I am of you. It's little sad and disheartening that I am not there in person but I sincerely apologise sunshine. You are fantastic what you are doing. I wish you best wishes and I have full confidence that you do absolutely amazing. Best of luck wifey.

A tear rolled down her cheeks as she read the note few times and desperately wanting to see him so she can give a warm hug. Wiping the tears off she placed the note in bag and shuffling into her bag she took her phone out and dials Manik's number but again it went to voicemail making her disappointed.

Sighing deeply and looking around her own cabin and smiles widely seeing the cabin filled with the flowers and gent most fortunate and luckiest women to have a husband like Manik.

Picking up her intercom once she comfortable sat down and thought of getting some work done because her husband wasn't answering her calls.

Dialing her Pa number asking her to come into her cabin ended the call and leans back against the chair and starts checking few important emails.

Within few seconds later she heard knock and it slightly opened revealing her Pa Siya who stood at there and Nandini asked her to come in.

Closing the door behind her Siya walks inside and astonished roams her eyes around the find and looked dumbfounded finding the cabin filled with beautiful flowers. Her eyes landed on Nandini.

Siya : good morning Ma'am. You called me. What can I get you? Do you want tea or coffee?

Nandini : good morning Siya. Thank you asking but I don't feel like having anything. Have you prepared a file that I asked you to do? And how is everything going in my absence? Any problems?

Siya: yes ma'am. The file I ready and I have sent email to you to check it. I will send to our clients once I have your approval. Everything is good too. Vacancies have gone cross our networks and partnerships. Hopefully we will start recruiting.

Nandini nodded her head and having update from Siya dismissed her and starts checking emails.

A knock disturbing her thoughts and glancing at the clock she didn't realise who time flied by.

Nandini : come in. The door is open Siya.

Replied back engrossed sketching a design and didn't bothering looking until she didn't hear anything so she lifts her gaze and got shocked finding her husband who stood there with smile.

Leaving the everything and pushing the chair she stood up and ran towards him and crashed into his arms and starts scolding him whereas he chuckles encircling his arms around her waist.

Nandini : why weren't you answering my calls? I called you so many times and leave left messages. Is your work more important than your wife. I hate you so much. You didn't even call back. You didn't wake me up . You went office without having breakfast. You could have woke up Manik.

Manik : I am sorry sunshine not answering your calls. I had back to back meeting and didn't have chance to call you back. I didn't wanted to disturb you that's why I left to work without disturbing you.

He broke the hug and cupping her face placed a kiss on her forehead and with his thumb caressed her cheek while tucking her hair behind.

His eyes roamed around the cabin and smirks seeing the flowers filled in the cabin. He looks at his wife who caught him staring the flowers.

Manik : how did you like it sweetheart? I wanted you surprise you myself but then I forgot about those meeting that were schedule months back.

Nandini smiles and hugs him again resting her head on his and listening to his heartbeats while playing with his watch making him smile at her antics.

Nandini : I love it Manik. Thank you so much. Look at them how beautiful it looks. My cabin is literally turned into flower shop. How did you managed to do these all? When did you do all these?

He chuckles and dropped numerous of kisses on her head and wraps his arms around her waist.

Manik : sunshine don't underestimate power of Manik Malthora. Nothing is impossible for me to do.

She chuckles and breaking the hug tiptoes and leans forward kissing both of his cheek making him grin wildly who looked surprised seeing her acting bold otherwise she could always shy away from him. He smiles and looks at her who tried to walk away. He held her hand pulling her back.

Manik : where are you going sunshine? You can't walk away if you have started something.

Nandini : Manik what are you doing? Leave me. Someone will come. I need to work.

Manik: no one will come without knocking love.

He smirks and pulls her closer making their lips almost touch against each other making her breath hitch up. Her body starts shiver up due to the close proximity and looked down feeling shy.

He chuckles and kissing her cheek stepped away not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable by his actions. He looks at her who was blushing profusely. He smirks and softly calls her name out.

Manik : much as I love seeing you blush sunshine. I am kind of starving and need to eat. I brought McDonald's on the way. Do you want to eat?

Her eyes widened hearing his teasing voice and immediately smiles when she heard McDonald's. Her eyes twinkles up and cutely bobbed her head.

He chuckles and taking his phone out dials a number and within a seconds later he heard the knock. He went towards the door and opening it took the bags and closing the door looks at his wife.

Manik : come on. Let's have our lunch then we will continue our talks or more like romancing.

Rolling her eyes at him she went to other side of the office and settled on the couch and looks at Manik who also comes and sits beside them.

They both starts relishing their favourite meals from McDonald's while talking randomly when Nandini brought a topic making him look at her.

Nandini : Manik. How we going to tell the media about us? Is it right time to reveal our native to them? I mean have you seen those articles.

He stops eating and grabbing the tissue wipes his face and looks at his wife who looks worried and tensed. He sighs and gestures her to closer and picking her up placed her on his lap making her eyes widened but nevertheless she didn't say anything and looks at him who rubs her face and took a deep breath.

Manik : sunshine. I have told you not to read those articles. I have got a team who is working on issues and trying to find out who has been leaking our private photos of us together. Like I have announced officially conference tomorrow. We will reveal our marriage but if you don't want then we won't.

Nandini : no. That's what I want Manik. I want to tell the world you are my husband but I am scared.

Manik : I understand you sunshine. I have got everything under control. You don't have to be scared. Everything will be fine. Let me handle this.

She nodded her head and leans back resting her head on his chest and sighs recalling past few days it has been terrible for her especially reading horrible headlines of news of them.

He sighs and looks at her and kissed her head and thought how to make his wife feel safe and protected because he knows it will be her first time coming front millions of cameras.
