"Pound it!"

Ladybug and Chat Noir bumped their fists at one synchronized moment.
Ladybug looked at Mr. Ramier who was looking at them with an apologetic expression, "Sir, you should try to control your emotions. This is the fourth time this week."

The man nodded his head ashamedly and walked away. Ladybug glanced at her yo-yo and saw the time.

10:45, already? Crap! I was supposed to meet with my friends at the ice rink at 10:15! Oh my god! Alya's going to skin me alive!

"I have to go Chat. "

She hurriedly swinged away with her yo-yo," Bug out! "

Chat Noir looked at his flashing ring, "Well. I have to go too. "

Marinette and Adrien crashed into each other as they rushed in from opposite directions.

"Oof! "

"Ouch! "

Marinette rubbed her head which was hurting from the fall on the hard concrete. Adrien dusted himself off and stood up, offering her his hand. Marinette smiled and took it, pulling herself up.

The previous Marinette would have swooned or fainted if she were to touch Adrien's hand. But, it wasn't like that now. Her mind was too occupied by a certain blue haired boy....

Adrien asked her, "Why were you late today, Mari? "

A light blush covered her cheeks at the nickname, "I slept through the alarm. "

Wow, she thought to herself, she was a really smooth liar.

"And you? "

"Um... I was talking to Kagami until late. " He threw a random excuse.

"Oh. "

The bluenette smiled. She herself was once again surprised how much easier it was to talk to Adrien as a friend.

Adrien and Marinette walked into the building together, chatting about school and exams.

As soon as they entered, someone covered Marinette's eyes from behind and she giggled. The scent of the person was all too familiar for her...

Luka jokingly said, "Guess who? "

She acted as if she was really in deep thought and after a few seconds, she chuckled, "Shawn Mendes? "

Luka removed his hands and stepped in front of her, and as if he was hurt, he acted childishly, "Marinette, do you not love me? " He whined with puppy eyes.

She laughed out loud and everyone joined her.

Juleka smiled and murmured to herself, "Never seen him like this. "

Alya walked over and sighed, "Girl, you are late again! But since you are treating us to ice cream today, I'll let it slide."

Marinette was shocked, "I....am?"

Luka wrapped an arm around her and kissed her hair, "Don't worry. I have come prepared."

Alya couldn't fake her expression anymore," Aww! You guys are so cute! I was just kidding about it! Hey, Nino, why don't you treat me like that? "

Nino joked, "Alya, if I even tried to cover your eyes, you'd probably think that I'm a robber and beat me up to death. I don't want to die at such a young age...."

Everyone burst into laughter at his humorous response...

Kagami suddenly spoke up, "Let's have a couples competition. More stunts and most chemistry wins. The couple who wins it, will get the two free tickets to the amusement park that I have, you guys in? "

Everyone looked at each other and nodded in consent...

Luka, like the gentleman he was, kneeled down before Marinette and tied her laces. Marinette felt her heart warm up as she watched the man before her...

Adrien watched with envy from a distance. How much he tried, he didn't have the same chemistry with Kagami. It was as if he could never be relaxed in front of her. Sure, Kagami was a great person and an awesome competitor in fencing. But, after they started dating, there were always this awkward silence between them when they weren't talking or fencing.

Adrien mentally scolded himself. He should be happy that he was dating someone that makes him happy. It wasn't as if he was still in love with Bugaboo, right?

The thought made him inwardly groan. Not again, Adrien. You can't call her Bugaboo now. You're dating someone. Ugh!

And somehow seeing Marinette together with Luka just irritated him more. She didn't stutter around him anymore. She would cancel on plans with her friends just because she was going out with him that night. She wouldn't ask if he had photoshoots anymore. Like she always did every day. Before, that is.....

He knew that he shouldn't feel this. He didn't even know why he was feeling this. She was just a friend, right?

Kagami's voice jolted him back from his reverie, "Adrien? Let's go. "

He smiled and stood up, offering his hand to her. She took it, showing a rare smile.

Adrien frowned subconsciously, Kagami's hand in his didn't feel right. At all.

His mind wandered back to a few minutes back, when he held Marinette's. Adrien forced her out of his mind and skated with Kagami to the ice rink.

Everyone showcased their stunts and flips, making themselves laugh and enjoy to the fullest.

Adrien looked at Luka and Marinette. They effortlessly glided through the ice, their hands always linked and performed slits and jumps. Both of them laughed occasionally, talking about something that they didn't share with anyone else.
His face darkened...

Kagami said as she stood beside her, looking at the two with a hint of amazement in her eyes, "Really good."

Adrien muttered something in a low voice.

When Kagami asked him to repeat it in confusion, he waved it off.

Adrien excused himself and walked towards the washroom.

She looked after him in wonder, 'What has gotten into him today? '

Needless to say, Marinette and Luka was unanimously voted as the 'best couple' and both of them were blushing like anything.

Kagami took out the tickets from her bag and gave it to Marinette, a smile dancing in her eyes, "Let's do this sometime again. "

The bluenette giggled and looked at them, "Wow, Kagami! VIP tickets, really? "

The Japanese girl said, "Oka-san.... I mean mom gave it to me because I've won a medal in fencing recently. These get you free access to every rides and also a super romantic cabin made for couples only."

Everyone snickered when they heard the word 'romantic'.

Kim wiggled his eyebrows, "Marinette, don't do anything 'romantic' in the 'super romantic cabin', okay? You're only 16 right now."

All of them burst out laughing again while Marinette blushed deep beet red and Luka looked at his feet in embarrassment.

Alix nudged, "Yo, Luka. Have you guys even done it yet? "

The blue haired boy tried to maintain his composure, "No. I won't make Mari do anything she doesn't want..."
Marinette relaxed slowly as his fingers drew circles on her back, out of everyone's sight.

This gesture, however, didn't go unnoticed by Adrien and he suddenly burst out in jealousy, "I have a ticket too. We can go together..."

Luka looked amused while Marinette smiled, "Sure, how about this Saturday? "

"Sounds great. "

Alya sighed softly. She knew what was going on here.

She tried to hint him indirectly, "Adrien, don't you have fencing classes with Kagami that day? "
The implicit meaning was 'You already have a girlfriend, dude. Why are you trying to be the third wheel in their date?'

Adrien ignored the implication, "Luka, is that okay with you? "

The mentioned boy grinned.

As Marinette and Luka walked out, Adrien followed suit after a few minutes saying that he wasn't feeling well today.

Kagami looked disappointed and she looked down...

Adrien kept thinking about how protective he felt when he saw her with Luka. 'It was just a minor fluctuation of my mind', he convinced himself and brushed it off.

When he was just about to enter his room, a booming voice called out, "Adrien."
Adrien was surprised as he turned around to face his father.

Gabriel Agreste looked at him and said in a firm voice, "Your relationship with Ms.Tsurugi had affected the sales of 'Gabriel' designs. You have to understand that I cannot allow that. Please inform Ms. Tsurugi that you'd be not continuing the relationship with her."

His brain stopped functioning. He protested, "But Fathe-"

"No buts. It has been decided, Adrien. Break off your relationship with her. "
His world came down crashing.
