Chapter 17 (Trip and surprise)
The next few days were a whirlwind of emotions for Y/n. The confrontation with Mia and the boys' intense possessiveness had left her feeling both loved and overwhelmed. She spent a lot of time thinking about her relationships with each of her soulmates and how to navigate this unique situation.
One evening, the group decided to have a quiet night in. They ordered takeout, and everyone gathered in the living room to watch a movie. Y/n nestled between Jungkook and Taehyung on the large sectional couch, feeling a comforting sense of belonging.
As the movie played, Y/n felt a hand gently squeeze hers. She glanced up to see Jimin smiling at her, his eyes warm and full of affection. Her heart fluttered in response, and she squeezed his hand back.
"Are you enjoying the movie?" Jimin whispered, leaning in close.
"Yeah," Y/n replied, though her mind was more focused on the closeness of her soulmates than the film itself.
After the movie ended, they all stayed in the living room, talking and laughing together. Y/n felt a lightness in her heart that she hadn't felt in a long time. It was moments like these that reminded her how lucky she was to have found her soulmates.
"Hey, Y/n," Namjoon called from across the room, pulling her out of her thoughts. "We were thinking of going on a little trip this weekend. How do you feel about that?"
"A trip? Where to?" she asked, curiosity piqued.
"Just a short getaway to the countryside," Namjoon explained. "We thought it would be nice to spend some time away from the city and just relax."
"I think that sounds amazing," Y/n replied, a smile spreading across her face. "I'd love to go."
"Great! We'll leave on Friday," Jin said, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "It'll be fun, I promise."
The week flew by, and soon it was Friday morning. Everyone was bustling around the apartment, packing bags and getting ready for their trip. Y/n felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. It would be her first time traveling with all of them, and she hoped everything would go smoothly.
They piled into a large van, with Namjoon taking the wheel. The drive was filled with laughter and music, and Y/n found herself relaxing more and more with each passing mile. The cityscape gradually gave way to rolling hills and lush greenery, and she felt a sense of peace settle over her.
After a few hours, they arrived at a charming cabin nestled in the woods. It was a beautiful, rustic place with a cozy feel. The boys helped unload the van, and they all worked together to settle in.
"This place is incredible," Y/n said, looking around in awe. "It's so peaceful."
"Wait until you see the view from the back deck," Taehyung said, taking her hand and leading her outside.
Y/n gasped as she stepped onto the deck. The cabin overlooked a stunning lake, its surface shimmering in the late afternoon sun. The surrounding forest was alive with the sounds of nature, and she felt a deep sense of tranquility.
"This is perfect," she said, squeezing Taehyung's hand. "Thank you for bringing me here."
"Anything for you," he replied with a smile.
That evening, they gathered around a fire pit outside, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Y/n felt a deep connection with each of her soulmates, and she cherished the moments of laughter and camaraderie.
As the night wore on, the group gradually made their way back inside. Y/n found herself alone with Namjoon, who had stayed behind to put out the fire.
"Namjoon," she began, feeling a sudden surge of emotion. "I just wanted to thank you. For everything. You've all made me feel so loved and accepted."
"You're a part of our family now, Y/n," Namjoon said, his voice gentle. "We care about you deeply, and we want you to be happy."
She reached out and took his hand, feeling the familiar warmth of their bond. "I am happy. I really am."
Namjoon smiled, his eyes reflecting the firelight. "Good. You deserve it."
They stood there for a moment, hand in hand, savoring the quiet intimacy of the moment. Y/n felt a sense of completeness that she hadn't known was possible.

The next morning, Y/n woke up early, feeling refreshed and eager to explore the area. She decided to take a walk by the lake, enjoying the crisp morning air and the serene beauty of the landscape.
As she walked along the shore, she heard footsteps behind her. Turning, she saw Jungkook approaching, a shy smile on his face.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked.
"Not at all," she replied, feeling her heart skip a beat.
They walked in comfortable silence for a while, the sounds of nature surrounding them. Y/n felt a strong connection with Jungkook, one that had been growing steadily since she first met him.
"Y/n," Jungkook said suddenly, breaking the silence. "I've been wanting to tell you something."
"What is it?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
He took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto hers. "I care about you a lot. More than I can put into words. And I want you to know that I'll always be here for you."
Y/n felt a surge of emotion at his words. She reached out and took his hand, feeling the bond between them strengthen. "I feel the same way, Jungkook. Thank you for being so wonderful."
They stood there for a moment, their hands intertwined, feeling the depth of their connection. It was a moment of pure, unspoken understanding, and Y/n knew that she was exactly where she was meant to be.
The rest of the trip was filled with laughter, adventures, and deepening bonds. Y/n felt closer to her soulmates than ever before, and she cherished every moment they spent together.
As they drove back to the city on Sunday evening, Y/n felt a sense of contentment settle over her. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she had seven amazing people by her side, and together, they could face anything.
Back at the apartment, they all collapsed onto the couch, exhausted but happy. Y/n looked around at her soulmates, feeling a deep sense of gratitude and love.
"Thank you for the best weekend ever," she said, her eyes shining with happiness.
"We should do it again soon," Hoseok said, smiling. "Maybe next time, we can go camping."
"That sounds like a great idea," Yoongi agreed. "As long as we don't have to hike too much."
They all laughed, the sound filling the room with warmth and joy. But at a certain point, the doorbell rang from the front door. Someone was here. Y/n opened the door, but what she saw shocked her: "Mom?...Dad?"
