"Errrm are you Lucas White by any chance?"

The waitress was a petite teenager a little older looking than us. She had blonde hair tied into a quick bun and pale blue eyes. Her cheeks were rosy and she had a beauty mark next to her right eye. She was very pretty.

"Yeah that's me" Lucas smiled scratching the back of his head. Weird...

He was acting different suddenly.

The waitress didn't seem like a fangirl.

"And are you Arianna Ember-Wood?" She said looking at me. She knew who I was? Now this is weird...

Quickly another girl looking to be the same age. She had darker hair running down to her mid back with brown eyes. Freckles were scattered across her button nose.

"Okay Celeste let's leave these two alone" she said grabbing her by the shoulders and leading her away "we'll have your order out in a few minutes"  The dark haired one said over her shoulder.

"But Luna!!!" The blonde whined as she was being dragged away.

We both smiled awkwardly and started laughing at the weird situation.

"Well that was strange?" I commented looking over toward the two girls.

Lucas was in a laughing fit.

Our orders came out a while later.

Lucas had gotten a hot chocolate with marshmallows. And I had a vanilla milkshake with whipped cream.

"How are you going to tell your parents?" Lucas asked sipping his drink.

"I'm not going to" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"You've got to tell them Ari. It's
kind of a needed thing you know"

"They'll freak Lucas..." I said looking away from him. So what if he wanted me to tell them. My life doesn't revolt around him.

"Ari. Let me make this clear" he said getting closer to my face with a stern glare. "If you don't tell them. I will" he was completely serious.

"Fine I'll tell them. Just back off okay" I push his face away from mine. He still sucks.

"Anyhow now that is sorted. How are you" he said giving me a giant smile. God this boy is bipolar as hell.

I gave him a dumbfounded stare "really?" I said making him giggle again.

About 20 minutes later we had finished our drinks and order a cookie and cupcake. The cookie is mine.

The deserts were good and the company was great it was fun having someone to hang out with.

We stayed in the café for around an hour give or take.

But we were just leaving when a man came up to us.

The man was my father before anyone freaks out.

"Hiya Ari" he said giving me a hug. Awww he's so sweet. "Errm whom's this guy" he moved his head towards Lucas.

"I'm Lucas White, I'ma friend of your daughter's" Lucas said in a polite tone smiling at my father.

"A friend?" He raised his eyebrow. I gave a shy nod and my dad immediately swept Lucas into a hug "Thank you my boy. You must be a fine young man for little Ari here to like you!"

Omg my dad. I mentally face palmed myself looking over to Lucas with a shy smile.

"Now tell me son do you have any plans for the day?" My dad asked. Oh no he's going to invite him round isn't he....

"No sir" Lucas replied making my dad's smile grow wide.

"Well my boy why don't you come over to the house. I'm sure Ari would love some company" he looked over to me.

"Sure... I guess" both of the males faces lit up and before I knew it we were sitting in my dad's van on the way home.

What have I gotten myself into.

Hi guys I just wanted to say a quick apology for the length of this chapter I don't know why but my ideas have started to fade this week. With everything I've done this week not just writing.

I don't know if it's just strest because my mocks are coming up next week or what.

This most likely means that updates will be a little slow but I'm hoping to still get at least one a week.
