I kept looking over at Lucas as we walked. He looked like a nervous cinnamon roll. So cute and sweet.

I had put the crocus he gave me on top of me ear.

We where walking beside each other both slipping quick looks at one and other and then immediately blushing when we made eye contract.

"Ari. You honestly look perfect tonight, plus you don't even need that make-up" Lucas said keeping eye contract.

"Thank you Lucas. You look great yourself" I said giving him a big smile.

"I want to make tonight amazing for you, since you're amazing yourself" he said blushing a little but keeping a bright smile.

"It's already amazing Lucas. But it would be even better if I knew what we were doing" I said with a little giggle. God why am I acting like a girly girl thing human.

"It's a secret" he put his finger over his lips and winking. "Just know you'll love it"

I rolled my eyes as I muttered a small fine and followed him down the street.

After a while I noticed his eyes kept glancing down at my hand. He is going through all of this trouble for me...

"Hey Lucas could you hold this for me?" I held out my empty palm. Yes I used a cheesy pick up line okay, just deal with it please.

He looked a bit confused at first but as if something click and he took my hand in his "Of course I can. But do I have to give it back?" His thoughts were the same but he was acting very flirtatious now.

"We'll see" I replied winking at him.

This set us both off laughing for a minute or so. I'm happy that nothing is too weird between us after Lucas' angry confession.

"And we've arrived" Lucas said with a little bow.

We had stopped outside of a really fancy restaurant which I know I've seen in magazines before.

"Wow. This place is very pose-o levels isn't it" I said looking at the building as we walked in hand in hand.

"Yeah it is but someone I trust recommend it to me so let's give it a chance" he said as we go to the podium where the host was waiting.

Lucas gave his name and we were quickly lead to our table without delay.

As we sat down at the table I soon realised something. Lucas had tame hair, nice outfit and had a fancy place picked out.

"Lucas be honest with me. When you said earlier you needed to do something was that something going to Ethan for advice" I said raising my eyebrow as a smirk appeared.

"Maybe..." He started to blush slightly.

I started to giggle a where of my surroundings, so making me a little more polite with my touch.

"I wanted to do something nice for you and then he came into my room and just started talking" he moaned. Making me giggle more.

"Well I'll have to thank him the next time I see him. This is a great venue plus he actually made you and your mop look like a gentleman"

"Hey" he moaned pouting a little at my statement. Which only made me giggle more.

"Ari...?" Lucas said after a couple of minutes of silence.

"Yeah?" I replied smiling at him. God this boy makes me smile a lot.

"Why were you ignoring me?" I jumped I wasn't expecting that question to come out of his mouth.

"Well... You remember that day I had the bad panic attack?" He slowly nodded "Well the reason that happened is because I had been threatened by Amorette to not talk to you. She said she want you to become hers. I got scared because she court me looking you up in the library that I agreed to ignore you..." I looked up to him but he looked shocked and a bit angry.

"God I'm an idiot" I said putting my hand over my face.

"No you're not Ari. Don't put yourself down like that. I just wish you'd tell me when someone did something like that to you" His eyes so great passion and his smile made me light up inside.

"Thanks Lucas" But then something suddenly poped into my head once again "What about you?" He let out a small 'huh' "Who's this person you were looking for?"

He started laughing to himself. "Ari you already know how I was looking for" I was really confused.

"No I really don't" he then looked at me with kind eyes pointing his index figure at me.

"It was you" So cheesy "When I found out there were other cursed children my age I was ecstatic. And when I did some research of my own and found out what school you went I begged my mother for weeks to let me go just so I could meet you"

Wow and I thought I was being weird about looking someone up.

"When I finally was allowed to go to your school I was shocked to find you were in my class. Which is why I sort of stared a lot. The plan was to just be friends with you and slowly reveal my curse and ask you how to deal with it"

His expression got serious. "But I didn't know that I would end up falling in love with you" I blushed really hard.

"Y...y...You really love me?" I said looking amazed at him still blushing my head off.

"Ari you know I do every time we touch you hear how I truly feel"

This was true but it felt so different hearing it come out of his voice. It made me feel special.

"You're right but it means a lot more to hear it out loud" this made him smirk.

"Well then I can say it as much as you want" Awwww he's so cute. What the hell. I quickly blushed as we continued to chat after ordering some food.

I ordered some weirdly named pasta while Lucas had a fancy omelette which he let me try.

Honestly I personally didn't like it but I guess that's just personal taste.

After the food Lucas forced me not to pay for the meal. Which I didn't really like but oh well boys will be boys.

We left the restaurant but neither of us wanted to go home so we walked to a near by park.

"Ari? Do you trust me still?" Lucas asked out of no where. I nodded.

However after that he slung me over his shoulder and started tickling me. "S....ss...stop p...p... please" I said giggling unstoppablely.

"Neve-" He was about to say never until the little weirdo fell over. Making me fall onto his chest still laughing at his clumsiness.

"Never you said" still laughing.

"Who said I didn't want this?" He said looking up at me with bright eyes.

I was about to reply when I noticed a couple of white specks float around us.

The first snow of the year. Lucas sat up and I moved to sit beside him just staring at the sky.

Snow was my favourite type of weather, so small and peaceful. It was so calming to me.

"Wow I didn't know that I was possible for you to get more beautiful" Lucas muttered loud enough to hear him.

But when he noticed I did he blushed immensely. "Shut up" I said jokingly.

It was weird how open we could be with each other I loved it.

"I had a great time Lucas" I said as I leant my head on his shoulder.

"Me too Ari" he snaked his arm around my waist and we just ended the night watching the snow and the stars as the night slowly pasted.
