Skyler was waiting for me at the school door; she had her hair down with a red beanie and a army green dress. When I saw her, I couldn't contain my happiness; I hadn't seen her since vacations started, but it felt like an eternity.

She's my girlfriend; we've been together for almost a year now and I think I love her. But lately it's been a different kind of love; not the love you have for your significant other, but the love you feel for your sister or your best friend. I don't know if that's good but it's definitely weird.

I was really excited to see her but not in the same way as her. I knew it because I ran towards her and pulled her into a sweet hug, but it didn't last long because she whispered "I've missed you so damn much". I had no time to say "I've missed you too" because she pressed her lips forcefully, yet kindly against mine. I was shocked but I just went with it....after all that's what was right..I mean that's what felt right......I guess.

After a couple of seconds it didn't felt pleasing so I, for some weird ass reason, opened my eyes, and that's when I saw him.

I can't tell you who he is, for I have no idea. But what I CAN tell you is that his eyes were green, his hair dark brown and his lips were big. He saw me and walked away. When he looked at me I felt as if I was looking to an old friend, but how can a new student be an old friend? I just let it go.

I start following him with my eyes when I feel Skyler pulling me tighter, thus I close my eyes and start playing with her hair.

The bell rang but we ignored it and we kept talking, we had so much to say to each other. After a while the halls were completely empty except for the two of us, so we ran to class.

When I got to biology, everyone was listening to Mr Adams so I just entered the room. Every one looked at me, including the boy I saw earlier. I knew that I was really late, and everyone's eyes were giving me a lot a anxiety so I smiled and said sorry. I ran to my seat and kept my head down.  After a couple of minutes the new guy ( I didn't know his name cause I arrived late) sat next to me. I couldn't stop looking at him, I just knew I had seen him before; I just knew it.

The lesson started and Mr Adams asked the stranger to read; I was just happy it was not me because I freaking despise reading out loud......you know the whole dyslexia thing...... yeah.

The room was silent because the guy wasn't being bothered. The teacher asked again and no response was given. I think he noticed the room was too silent because he suddenly looked up and said "what?"

I couldn't help but laugh. I wasn't being mean; he just looked so helpless and confused, like a puppy after he hears a toy and he has no idea were the sound comes from. It was just so cute!.....I mean.....funny.........you get it.

He listened to the question and answered "uh....I haven't bought it yet"

Everyone looked troubled except for me, I was literally trying to catch my breath from laughing too much; there was something about this man that made me laugh. And that's when everything went wrong.

"Oh, I see.....why don't you share with Joseph, he seems to be enjoying the class..." Mr Adams' face changed from confusion to dread; he looked so threatening!

First of all.....I was literally only laughing and I wasn't the only one. And I freaking hate when people call me Joseph I just can't stand it.

The boy looked at me kind of disgusted and scared and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel bad. In return I tried to look annoyed. It didn't help at all because guess what..... This guy's first impression of me is a dick that laughs when people make mistakes and doesn't like to share his book! To be fair he wasn't that friendly either!

I know he thinks I'm a dick because he didn't talk to me at all when we were doing our project! I thought  he wasn't doing anything, yet I look over and he's half way done! I was really ashamed, so I offered to do the rest by myself. He was clearly annoyed by my presence because he just wanted me gone so I stopped insisting and left. He was right, Skyler was waiting for me at the door so I left with her and went to algebra.

At lunch me and my squad were sitting together when I saw that guy from biology sitting by himself and then it hit me.....HE HAS NO BOOK!  How the hell is he going to do the homework without a book? Oh man I feel so bad! I don't even know his name!........

WAIT! I have an idea. Why don't I invite him over to have lunch with us? It's the least I can do.....I mean I'm going to make him finish OUR work by himself (not that I wanted him to) without a freaking book, but if I introduce him to my friends I'll know his name and I'll have the opportunity to change his idea of me being a dick..... I'M A GENIUS!!!
