What is going on......

I just joined a new school, a drama club, met some friends, felt annoyance, happiness, anger, fear, jealousy and excitement, I've lied and felt embarrassed, scared, intrigued and fluttered. Today has been a lot and it's not even over and now I'm being dragged out by the boy who has caused most of this feelings and situations.

Why did Joseph didn't want me to mention drama club in front of other people? I was really confused trying to put everything in place while he dragged me outside.

I was reflecting on how I've been trying to look for this boy and all the information I have of him up to know when we stopped running. My mind immediately stopped at the thought of the inscription papers.

"Uh what about the inscription papers?"

"Umm funny story! Actually uh....... I left them in your locker at lunch!" He looked a little agitated but I assume it's because of the running; also for some reason he is being cryptic about theater with his friends so I just ignore it.

I haven't been there because I've been busy looking for him when I had a chance. I feel so dumb. I mean, of course Joseph would've put them there. He's not stupid... Unlike me

"Oh sorry I haven't been there in the whole day,  I'll go look for them......wanna come?" I wasn't going to leave him standing there!

After a few seconds no response was given to my invitation; I was facing away from him so I turned my face towards him. To my surprise he was staring at me; his eyes were scanning me up and down with a small grin on his face and a confused yet amazed look on his bluish-greenish eyes.

I instantly felt shivers all over my body.....

"Joseph?...." He was speechless and I was kind of scared. I wish I could tell you what was happing in his brain...

"Um are you alright?" With every second that passed I could feel my cheeks getting warmer and I'm sure they were starting to Turn into a deep shade of red...

"Um yeah, haha it's just that I hadn't noticed how tall you were before....." That was it! To be fair now that I think about it he was looking up just so he could see my face, which by the way, I tilted down so that he doesn't sees the shade of red it has taken. A 'butterflies in my stomach' sort of feeling took over me. Great! Another feeling to add to the list...

"Oh yeah..... I guess I am..." I already felt awkward and a bit uncomfortable so I just left and hoped he followed me.

We were halfway there when all of a sudden I remember something...

My biology book is there.

My eyes widen at the thought of him seeing the book. He would start to make questions I don't have the answer for! ......well I do have the answer, but I'm not going to tell him that I didn't go to my locker in the morning because he was standing there with his girlfriend!....

Things with Joseph have been weird today and I didn't want to make them worse.......so I did what I had to do....

We arrived there and I pretended I had forgotten my password.

I know! Now I look stupid and telling him would've been easier but oh well what's done is done

"Oh, umm, it's okay.....you can ask Tyler to give you another one..." He seemed relieved. Why? I have no idea but it was over. At least the lies were over.

The walk to class was particularly silent because I wasn't planning to speak again until the weirdness stopped and I think he felt the same way. My first act as I arrived class was to ask Tyler for the papers.

"Um supposedly, Joseph right here already gave you the papers...." He grabbed Joseph and then stared at him with an eyebrow up.

"I did! It's just that umm....he lost it, right?" He looked at me with wide eyes.

"Well, I wouldn't exactly say that I lost it"

Joseph steps on my foot

"Yeah I lost it!"

Tyler kept staring at me and then at Joseph and then back at me and so on with disbelief..

"You guys are weird HAHAHAHA" he turned around to look for the paper and then gave it to me...

"Here you go Daniel!"

When Tyler said my name Joseph's face was bright pink and he looked surprised...

I think he was holding back from a telling me something but I left it alone to him.

.....

The class was fun and finally the day was over. I was leaving when Joseph said

"Daniel! Want a ride?"

yeah not weird at all, but I was really tired so why not.

"Uh, okay" as I was approaching the car I notice that Skyler is not there, which is weird because at lunch, Trisha told me that they Joseph always takes her home.....Honestly the worst part is that now I have to seat next to Joseph.

I open the door and he's there smiling. I seat and he proceeds to drive...

"So where do you live?"

"Oh, a couple of blocks from here....you know the ice cream place with a beautiful big Logo?"

"Omg you live next to cosmic bite? I love that place!"

"Well I'm not sure, I kinda just moved here" I chuckled a little..

"All I know is the Logo because it looks like galaxy type of circle with-"

"Iridescent ice creams!" He says a bit too excited with a huge grin on his face. His eyes were shining and suddenly my heart started to beat faster....

"Yeah! They are good I assume..." I say still giggling

"Oh good is an understatement, we should go eat some!"

"That sounds amazing but I can't today....I have to work on the project..."

He looked disappointed and a bit sad....it didn't last long because his expression did a 180 and now he looked shocked...

"Wait, our project? Omg Daniel, I'm sorry!"

"No, it's okay, I offered! Besides I'm almost done...."

"I guess you're right...I'd like to help though...."

Why didn't I let him earlier? Oh right because I thought he was dumb......turns out I'm the idiot.. .

"Well if you insist..."

"This is amazing! Well do it and then go to cosmic bite, it's perfect!"

He looked so excited and happy! Honestly I could stare at his smile the entire day......

"We're here!"

I tell him to park his car in the empty spot left by my parents This morning.
We hop out and go inside...

"I'm sorry for the mess, we just moved and my parents haven't unpacked...."

There were boxes everywhere and the couches and chairs still had the plastic thing over them...

"It's okay... It looks really cool! So big and with so much room to breath!"

He was walking to the big window so I followed him...

"It's so bright and gorgeous in here" he said taking a deep breath...

I'm really intrigued by this boy.......

"What?" He asks with his smile on

"What do you mean?"

"You were giggling and looking at me" he said also laughing a bit

"You just make me laugh" I said smiling

"Oh shut up" he said smiling even more which I assumed was not possible and turning away... I'm sure he's blushing...

He's adorable......
