Unknown's POV
When i got up this mourning, i went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and straightened my hair. I got dressed into some black skinny jeans and and a blue t-shirt. I looked at my wrist "0 day 5 hours 31 minutes 54 seconds". Today was the day.

Dan's POV
I began heading to school anxiously looking at every girl that walked by, wondering if they were the one. Today was the day.

"Hey Chris! Hey Peej!" i said in a super excited tone.

"Woah there? Why are you so cheerful today, aye?" said Chris.

"Today is the day!!" i shouted and shoved my wrist in his face.

"Wow, youngster. You haven't met yours yet, which is surprising." Chris said in a elderly man's voice.

"Shut up." i said playfully.

Today is the day I will meet her and everything will be perfect.

When i went through the school this mourning, I observed every girl wondering if it would be them and how we would meet.

Chris, Pj, and I sat down in our seats in science and i began to daydream.

"Hello" I said seductively to the beautiful lady in front of me. I looked down at my wrist all the number spaces were filled with zeros and as I glanced at hers, they were identical. I stepped closer. "So you, Madame, are the lucky one to be with mwah?" I said in a French accent as she giggled. She took my arm and we walked down the hallway of the school in fancy clothes and we were shining with a bright light while everything else was dull. "Dan!" I heard shouting continuously, the person no where to be seen.

I was snapped out of my daze by Pj.

"Dan! It's time for our next class!" he said shaking me and gathering up my stuff.

"S-sorry" is all i can say as i am still trying to imagine the daydream coming true. He drags me out of the room.

My next two classes were boring and were going by very slowly as i was anxious and kept looking at my wrist. "0 days 0 hours 45 minutes 15 seconds" We do a few more problems of math.

"Lunch!" my teacher shouts as we race out of the room.

I met Pj and Chris at the lunch table. I sit down and eat quickly.

"Hey fatty!" said a dreadful voice. I turned to see Sam.

"Speak for yourself." i said and turned back to my food. He then pick up my food plate and poured it onto my head. I stood up astonished and shaking the food off of me. Everyone laughs and I race to the bathroom with tears in my eyes. When I walk into the bathroom I lock myself in the stall and begin sobbing. I hear footsteps. I assumed it was Chris or Pj coming to look for me, but they had different shoes. I muffled my sobs.

"Hello?" a voice i've never heard before called out. I didn't answer.

"I know you're in here. Are you okay?" the boy says while knocking on the door. I get up the courage and unlock it. I didn't dare look up because my face was probably drenched with tears and my eyes red, but i could feel him sit next to me and hug me. I instantly felt the feeling of happiness I have been feeling ever since the first day i came to this school.

"Everything is going to be okay." he whispers rocking me back and forth. I sniffle a bit. Through the crack of my arms that i was covering my head and face with, i could see his wrist. His soulmate timer was blinking at all zeros. I wondered why he hasn't gotten it removed yet because usually after they find their soulmate, they go to a shop to get it taken off. That's when i looked at mine.. flashing zeros.
