We couldn't find a spot in the parking lot so we had to park down the road.

"Wow we must be busy today!" I said closing my door.

"Yeah. I hope we make lots of muh-nayy!" Caeley followed me into the building.

"Hey tell me if you see Joey ok? I wanna talk to him" I had to work the drive thru today.

"Ok" Caeley gave me a sly smile and walked behind the counter, putting on her name tag. I went back to the drive thru window and started handing the drinks out to the costumers. It was about 9.

"Hey Katelyn" it was Brad he was heading to the back room. Things were still a little awkward.

"Hi" I gave a small wave. Just then a car pulled up, a older man was sitting in the drivers seat.

"Did you have the black brew coffee?" I asked him. He shook his head yes and when I handed it to him he thanked me and drove away. Then a yellow volts wagon beetle pulled up and I punched the worker closest to me and shouted "Yellow one!" I handed the teenage girl who was driving the car her drink and closed the window. Occasionally I would take a peak at the tables to see if-........anyone was out there. Nothing so far. I gave customers their orders for about another hour before I heard.

"Hunk alert!" Caeley yelled walking back to take my place. I smiled and walked to the counter. Seeing Joey brightened up my day.

"Hi. Could I have a medium iced tea please?" He asked.

"Yeah. Hi" I looked at Caeley and she heard him and began to fill up the cup.

"I listened to the new Paramore songs on my break yesterday. They were really good"

"Yeah! I thought so too. So we don't need to listen to them anymore?" He looked sad.

"Of course not! Ill listen to them with you anytime." I leaned in on the counter and he laughed.

"That's great. I still need to memorize them." I smiled and looked down Joey was about to say more when Caeley slapped his cup down In between us. I stopped smiling, cleared my throat and stood up.

"I guess I'll see you around." I said a little disappointed at Caeley.

"I hope so" he smiled, took his drink and walked out. As soon as he left I turned around.

"What the heck was that?!" I walked over to Caeley, arms crossed.

"I just put his drink down. You were holding up the line" Caeley said with no expression. Like everything was okay.

"We'll sorry but we were having a conversation." I snapped.

"We'll you have time to talk on your break! You need to be working!" She pointed at the drive thru window where I saw many cars waiting. I can't believe how she was acting. We never fought. I apologized to everyone as I handed them their drink. Was Caeley jealous? I needed to be focused. I wiped my mind clear of everything accept coffee and kept working until 12:30
