For pretty much the entire day of work I walked around with a huge grin on my face. All my friends noticed my instant change in mood.

"What's gotten into you?" Caeley asked wiping down tables.

"Nothing. I just feel.....better"

"MmmHHMM is that right?"

"Uhm....yep" she squinted her eyes at me and walked back to the other part of the store. I looked at the clock and it was about 12:25. I took 2 more orders and handed some people their drinks. Then I clocked out and waited for Caeley to finish her shift she had about a half hour left so I ordered a iced tea and sat down at a table closest to the door.

"Hey Katerina? Come here!" Rebecca motioned for me to come. I walked over to the counter and she handed me a note.

"Some girl brought this up. She said it was left at a table" the note said :

To Katelyn (I saw your name tag)

Hi umm I'm going to need a iced tea prepared for me tomorrow at about 11am. Thanks

I giggled at his silly note. He could just come in and order one.

"Who's Joey?" Rebecca asked me

"Oh just some...costumer."

"Mmm ok sure." She said before clocking out. "See you tonight at class" every Tuesday and Thursday Brad, Caeley , Becca and I and all of our other classmates had basic classes at the community college. And on weekends from 9-11:30. For our degree.

Caeley motioned for me to head to her car because she was almost done. I waved bye to Brad , grabbed my drink and walked out to Caeley's car. It was a beautiful day out. The sun was shining it was warm and there was a nice gentle breeze. On the way out Caeley tossed me her keys. I unlocked her car, climbed into the passenger seat and started it up. I turned up the radio. It was the new Paramore song. Yes! I sang along bobbing my head when Caeley hopped in.

"Yeah! Turn it up!" She said. I turned it up and rolled down my window. Today was going great.

"Hey after we get get home for a while," I shouted over the music, " wanna go for a hike?"

"Uhm...maybe. I don't like hills"

"Ugh fine ill call Becca" we sang the rest of the song the way home and then ran up to the 3rd floor of our apartment building. I unlocked the door and tossed my purse on the counter. I put on my yoga pants and a tshirt. Then pulled my hair up and texted Rebecca.

Me : Hike?

A few seconds later she replied

BeccaBoo: C ya there in 10! 😆

"Bye Caeley well be back before class!"

"K bye!" She shouted from her room as I walked down the steps to my car.

On the drive there I played "Somebody's Heartbreak" by Hunter Hayes. Man we he dreamy. I saw Rebecca just getting out of her car as I arrived.

"Hey girl hey!" I said jogging over to her.

"Girl like this is serious! I'm I jog-GER!" We both laughed referring to Shane Dawson's video "Come and get it Selena!" He says "Girl like this is serious I'm a sing-GER!"

We started walking up the path and I pulled out my phone and put a earbud in.

"So do you know Dan? From Dr. Austin's class?" She asked me.

"That British boy? Yes he's a cutie."

"Meh. He's alright. But anyways he did this really horrid thing to Dr. Austin...." I stopped listening because I saw someone at the top if the "mountain"/trail. He was fit from what I could tell, and he had blondeish hair and a tank top. Was it that boy from earlier today? No it couldn't be this kid was holding a camera. Just then I was sucked back into the conversation.

"Katelyn? Are you listening to me?"

"Sorry I just though I saw something. Continue" Rebecca told me the rest of her story and then we started up on the steeper part. I pulled out my water bottle and took a drink. Tonight after class Caeley and I were going to see some comedy movie.

As we rounded a corner I stopped to untie my shoe and a few people walked passed us. I got up and jogged a few feet to get back to Rebecca. After we finally reached the top we were out of breath. We agreed to take it slower back down. As we reached the bottom we said goodbyes and headed our separate ways. I ran home to take a shower and get ready for our night class.

At home Caeley was curling her hair. I said hello and jumped in a fast shower, blow dried my hair and got dressed with a few minutes I get a snack before we headed to class. I grabbed a granola bar and started to put on my shoes.

" I'll drive since you drove to work" I offered

"Thanks sounds great!" I grabbed my keys and we walked down to the car.

On the way to class Caeley asked me about the note and I told her who it was from.

"Ooo so that's why you were happy?"

"No I just...felt better I guess"

She rolled her eyes as we pulled into the parking lot. We grabbed our bags an headed to class. Professor Daenzer was as boring as ever and we were excited to get out of there and see our movie.

ok so I took the part out of Dan I'm making a new fanfic about him. So the story will take off from here sorry!

Caeley and I bought a medium popcorn and 2 drinks. We walked into theater 11 we were seeing Iron Man 3 (I couldn't think of another movie) the movie was alright. Kinda repetitive blah blah blah he saves the world. After the movie it was 10:30 and we headed home.

Did you like it?" I said unlocking the door.

"Yeah....it was.....fine?" We both laughed. It wasn't a very good movie.

I put down my purse. "I think I'm going to turn in early tonight. I had fun even if it was a terrible movie."

"Haha goodnight Katelyn." Carley settled down on the couch and flipped in the tv. I closed my door and put on some pjs on. I snuggled into my bed and made a mental reminder about that tea.

*BEEPBEEPBE-BEEP BEEPBEEPBE-BEEP*

I hit my alarm clock and it shut off. I groaned and started to brush my hair. I put in my new Paramore shirt and some shorts. I grabbed a banana and started to put on my converse.

"Cae you ready?"

"Yeah just let me get my socks on!"

A minute later she walked out of her room. Caeley put on her shoes and we grabbed our bags and walked downstairs. We got into my car and started to drive to work.

"Hey it looks like Brad is on time today!" I turned the wheel and pulled into the parking lot.

"Wow miracles can happen!" We both giggled and walked into Starbucks. It was a little before 9.

"Hey Brad, hi Becca." I clocked in and took my place as the cashier.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"At 11:30 I'm going to switch to my regular shift. But until then could I please work the counter?" I asked Caeley it was her shied as cashier.

"Sounds fine." She said smiling.

"Thank you!" I took orders and served them waiting for 11 to come around.

"Jackson?" A 16 year old walked up to the counter and thanked me. Then our professor, Prof. Daenzer walked up to the counter.

"What can I get'cha Professor?"

"Oh why hello Mrs.y/l/n. I would like a half-calf cinnamon latte. Skim milk not whole."(I just made up the drink)

"Uhh ok that will be $2.95" gosh she was so high matenience. I told Caeley the order and whispered for her to put extra fat milk. She snickered and actually did it. I handed the drink to Deanzer and watched her drink it.

"Very nice. Thank you" she walked out. I looked at another cup Caeley handed me.

"Darcy?" A woman in a black dress walked up to the counter, took her drink, and left.

"Jennifer?" A woman in sweats with stains on them and a "Birch Run 6th Grade Choir" shirt walked up to the counter grunted and walked out. She had a very big bald spot on her head. Rude!

At 10:55 I told Caeley I needed a iced tea. "Name?" She asked. "Joey" she smirked at me then filled the cup. Pretty much as close as you can get to eleven, a figure walked in. It was him. I smiled and he walked up to the counter.

"Hi" he said

"Hey, here's your drink."

"Thanks."

"Yup." We stood there awkwardly.

"Sooo. Oh my god- your shirt. I love Paramore!"

"Really? Me too! I have to go and buy their new album."

"It's the best. I bought it yesterday. Maybe we could listen to it sometime?"

"I would LOVE that"! I giggled.

"Ok great. Ill be back tomorrow. "

"Bye" I gave a flirty wave.

"Bye" he blushed and walked out.

"Eeek!" I let out a squeal and turned around to find Rebecca. "Becca guess what?!" I told her what happened.

"Oh my go Kat that's great! I hope you guys get to know each other!"

"Hehe me too. Caeley? I ready to switch shifts!"

"Ok?" I told her what happened with Joey.

"Oh my god that's great! I'm glad you're keeping your mind of your ex."
