Adrien bit his lip as he held Marinettes hand. He held it to his lips, gently kissing the back of her hand then setting it down. He sighed and rested his arms on her bedside then rested his head on them. He looked up at her and sighed again. He looked at the clock, again. 1:36 pm. He's been waiting for twenty minutes. he closed his eyes and growled. "Marinette, if you don't wake the fuck up I'm giving Tikki to Hawkmoth."

"You wouldn't dare you limp noodle," she muttered. He looked at her and smiled. She opened her eyes he smiled bigger and hugged her. "Hey calm down, that hurts," she winced and he let go. Tikki and Plagg flew up and hugged her cheeks. "I missed you guys too."

"Don't scare me like that!" Tikki yelled and cried. Plagg held her and they landed on her lap.

"You scared me! I thought you died!" Adrien hugged her again. She pushed him away.

"No but I am inside." She bit her lip and Adrien hugged her again.

"Marinette, I didn't mean to cause you this much pain."

"I-It's fine. I'm over it." She looked away from him. He made her look at him.

"No, you're not. You wouldn't have tried to kill yourself if you were. You would've just laughed it off." He sighed and she bit her lip. He hate how she was acting, but it was his fault. He deserved her attitude.

All fell silent. She bit her lip so hard it bleed. He grabbed a tissue and fixed it, dabbing away the blood. All fell silent again. She looked out the window. "I meant it you know. That I, think I love you." she looked down at her lap and then at him.

Adrien sighed and nibbled on his lip. "Mari, you said I only loved you for being Ladybug. Why would you even love me? Me and Chat, we act totally different."

"But the same person underneath. It doesn't matter how you act as long as what really matters is all there. I guess, I-I fell for that." She nervously laughed and looked at one of her hands chained to the bed.

"Mari," she looked at him, her eyes glossy. He smiled a little. "I-I think I love you too."

"You don't mean that. You only feel bad for me."

"No! I-I mean it! I do love you!" Tears built up in his eyes as she denied him.

"You only feel bad for me! I can't believe I tried to kill myself over you!" She cried hard, her Ladybug strength kicking in, ripping the cuffs off of her arms. Adrien pressed the button and the Kwamis hid in his shirt. Nurses ran in and cuffed her again and gave her a medicine that calmed her down. She growled but soon fell asleep. Adrien sighed as he walked out of her room.

"How did she break the cuffs?"

"She just lifted her arms up and the broke," Adrien didn't want to answer. "I-If you don't mind, I'd like to go home." The nurse nodded and he walked to his care and went to the apartment.

He got the apartment and looked at the bloodstained tile floor. "You should clean it." He looked at Tikki. He sighed and nodded and got as much book as her could out of the tile and the carpet hallway it seeped into. After he cleaned the bathroom and he didn't eat. He went straight to bed, but didn't sleep, in Marinettes room.
