The fire brewing in my loins at the sight of you,
Is one of passion rising like a volcano,
Ready to erupt as I spill words your way,
Scared of your reaction I simply hesitate

Afraid of rejection,
For you're my dream in physical form,
And the last thing I wanna be is disrespectful,
But my heart is beating rapidly,

Heightening my confidence to jump off the ledge,
Come in your direction and speak my feelings,
Whether rejected or accepted I conquered my fear,
And you know the meaning of my stares,

That silky smooth hair blowing with the wind,
Invoking action immediately,
So I breathe in and go,
Excuse me ma'am,

I've noticed you from afar and you're shining like a star,
I'd like to get to know you if I'm permitted,
I really think you're beautiful externally,
And I wanna know the real you internally,

So if you'll do me the honor of accepting my request,
I'll be all that you feel you deserve,
For the person that I am is what you see now,
A man as simple as the day willing to risk it all

Just to be in your presence daily,
Hold you in my arms and keep you warm,
Bring out the best in you as you do to me,
And just be all that you can imagine truthfully.
