The bond that we share between me and you,
Was forged in stone not by blood,
Yet I love you just the same and will always stand firmly by your side,
For you're the closest thing I have to my family,

It's almost like you were initiated as the extension,
The better half of myself and other half of my choices,
For if we don't make them together they aren't valid,
My best friend where would I be without your advice,

The guidance that you provide when I feel I've lost my way,
The long conversations about anything that comes to mind,
Relationships or just general speaking,
This is the bond that we've come to establish over time,

You're the reason I smile when I feel like crying,
You wipe those tears from my eyes and tell me it'll be fine,
What would I do without you in my life,
The greatest acquisition in any person's life,

A loyal friend that's there through thick and thin,
Picking me up when I fall and me doing the same,
I'm honored to call you family for that's what we've become,
I love you so much my true and special friend.
