Doing something regretful then asking for my forgiveness,
Seems to be all too common amongst you nowadays,
You'll commit a despicable act then tell me you're sorry,
Hoping for compassion over and over but I can't let it slide

For if I let it go more than once then the pattern will continue,
I've seen your ways and you show no sign of change,
You enjoy playing your games fiddling with emotions,
Thinking that I'm sorry is a get out of jail free card,

Well your Monopoly holds no weight to the matter of my heart,
And I refuse to let it start you have to learn your lesson,
That saying I'm sorry doesn't exonerate your actions,
You have to have consequences to your circumstances,

Understand that you're not welcome to hurt and apologize like it's healing,
That damage will still burn fresh like putting alcohol in an open sore,
The sting is very real so I advise you to think wisely,
Before you plan to do damage and apologize like it helps.
