I woke up to my alarm ringing. It wasn't anything special, really. It was just a noise that woke me up. And I always got up. But today was different. I didn't listen to the blaring noise of my alarm. I lay in bed, not giving a care.
Truth was, I wasn't lazy. I was more terrified than lazy.
Mom broke the news about a month ago that we were moving to California. I wasn't prepared because I lived in Washington where everything was perfect enough for me. And I won't be the cliche girl to say I was bullied, because I wasn't. I was considered normal. A girl who never fit in to a group. I was just there.
Plus, I've only had one best friend in my life time. His name was Nolan and I had to leave him behind and move with my parents because my father got a 'job opportunity '. But I know the truth of what happened.
He lost his job and mom's salary wasn't enough to pay for everything. So they made me pack my bags and we moved to a cheaper house.
"JONIA. GET YOUR LAZY ASS OUT OF BED AND GET READY. YOUR GOING TO BE LATE! "yelled my mother.
One thing parents never understood was how comfy beds were. Shaking my head.
I complied with her order and stepped out of bed. Well it was more like crawling out of bed.
And as I slithered out of bed, I noticed several notifications on my phone. Every single one from Nolan.

7:09pm:Nolan:Sis. You there yet?
7:10pm:Nolan:Text me when you got there
7:10pm:Nolan:Sis, answer me. It's been 3 seconds😑.
7:30pm:Nolan:I give up!
I smiled and laughed. Nolan was gay. And I know that is totally cliche. But I was the first one he came out to. And I made it my mission to be best friends with him. He knew I could keep his secret.
I walked to my closet and picked out something classy but not to nerdy. All though, there is nothing bad about nerdy. Better play it safe.
I shifted the hangers to one side till I came across a T-shirt that was pastel pink. It crossed at the bottom forming a bow with a red embroidered rose on the top left.
I lifted my head and looked on the top rack for pants. I picked out a pair of modern high waisted modern mom jeans with a pair of Pumas.

I stood in front of the school. It was bigger than the last school I went to. By the looks of it, the registration had it's own building.Thats how big it was.
I made my way to the office. So lost in my thoughts, I swear I bumped into a pole.But as I raise my eyes to cuss out the pole, I noticed it wasn't a pole.But a very handsome guy who had greenish,blueish eyes, stylestyled hair and plump lips.
"Hey, look I am so sorry. "
I was dumb founded. Now one ever apologized to me.
"No, no. It's okay.I got to go. See you around?"
Without waiting for a reply, I turned around and dashed for the registration buildings front door.
Oh crap . What did I get myself into?

Story Time:
I was younger and was running around on the grass living my best life. There was a whole in the ground. I tried thinking it was the sidewalk,  turned around and said "Stupid curb!" And in reality I said it to grass. True story.
