Dance

As we've got out of the school premises
We all directed to our usual destination
At the plaza, which served as our practice zone
We patiently waited till half of the group came
But there were only four of us out of twelve

Yet, we still resume
Hit the button and wait for the tune
As the music started to play
We were facing the air
Practicing like our partners was there

Slow, quick, quick, slow
Gently sway your hip
Following the rhythm of the beat
Triple steps
While imagining I'm holding my partner's hand
Stop. Wait for the verse two to start
Walk, walk, walk
I was still imagining while dancing with the air

The four of us is dancing asynchronously
Seems like they aren't enjoying dancing with the wind
The two stopped moving
But me and my best friend continued practicing

I lift my hand and act like someone's holding it
I took a small step forward and turn around
I was already damn tired
But I was eager to master the dance

At the northern part of the stage
We took our place
Held each other's hand
And performed the last step
We were contented to the out come
But we're still annoyed
How are we going to master the dance?
If neither of us has a partner

It was already quarter to six when we stopped
Sweating, tired and wanted to rest
But my head was already clouded
I wanted to burst in tears,
Let go of my frustrations,
Yet, I am too lazy to yelled it

Later that night, I was really damn exhausted
But I still chat the group and encourage them
To attend the next practice,
To help us achieved our goals,
To passed the first term with a little flying colors.
They gave me assurance that they will do it so
I hold on to that...

But never in my vision that they will only broke my trust.
