Home Alone Part 1 - The Luck Of The Draw

Kelgi was deep in thought. Magical wisps surrounded her, some blue, some yellow, some green, some black and one purple. She looked at them, making mental notes on each.

She drove herself deeper into concentration, expanding her search. Not much happened, except for another yellow wisp appearing- and then there was an explosion of red light.

She staggered back, surprised. Waving a hand, she dispelled the magic, muttering under her breath:

"Who the hell would use that magic?"

Skop skip you're covered in dip.

Tango, Azin and Garaa were playing a highly emotional round of Elfer Raus. Tango had Azin at swordpoint, politely suggesting that he play that yellow 10. Garaa was casually chugging a bottle of hot sauce in the back, watching this all go down.

Kelgi entered the room, her sightly disheveled state spoiling her air of business. That was one way to know something was up. Kelgi sat down, gesturing for Tango and Azin to do the same. Once everyone was seated, Kelgi began to explain what had occurred in the study.

"Some kids are trying to mess with forbidden magic. They've succeeded, too, making them a danger. A threat to eliminate."

There were murmurs of agreement around the table. Until Kelgi pulled out a board game spinner. Then there were just fearful glances.

"Who's the lucky one that gets to stay home and run things?"

Kelgi set the wheel on the table, setting it in motion. It span through the names, watched intently by all four demons. Eventually, it settled on none other than Tango. You could hear Tango's frustrated screams from outside.

TIME IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT. WATCH AS I SKIP IT WITH EASE.

Tango looked at his three sole friends. They sure looked different with their armour on. Much more medieval, in comparison to their intensely 1990s-era everyday outfits.

Tango helped them on their way, bidding his fellow demons farewell. He was the only person on the entire server who would actually say 'farewell', so of course he was going to.

As he set about locating the soulless to solidify his hold, two bushes uprooted themselves and snuck away. Ren and Etho needed to tell their teams.
