Louis just finished another bouquet order when the shop's door opened , he looked up and smiled when he saw Anne walking in .

"Hi Anne , good morning ." He put the bouquet away with the other ones he made , and circled the desk to greet her . Anne wrapped him in her arms and kissed his cheek , "Good morning , sweet . How's your day so far ?"

"It's good , kind of loving the rainy and chilly weather ." Louis smiled and rubbed her back , "How's yours ?"

"It's really nice , running some errands . I'm actually here for some seeds , if you have time to help me find them ." Anne pulled back and fixed the strap of her bag , Louis nodded , "Of course , here I'll show you what we have ."

He took her to the other side of the store where the display of seeds stood , the two went through every bag there was and combined types of flowers , along with colour and how long they last .

Once Anne was satisfied with what she picked the two went to the register , Louis secretly gave her his employee discount (since he knew she would refuse if he told her) as he scanned the different bags .

The shop's door opened , "I knew I saw your car outside ."

The two turned to see Harry walking through the door with a smile , he wrapped his arm around Anne's shoulders , "What are you here for ?"

"Getting some seeds for the garden , the Autumn weather is perfect for seeding ." Anne leaned into him and side-hugged him , "Louis helped me pick some really good ones this year ."

Louis smiled at her as he put everything in a small paper bag , "There you go ."

"Thank you sweet ." Anne took the bag .

"Your birthday is next week , we should go out somewhere ." Harry told Anne , "I'll make a reservasion at a restaurant , for us three , Robin , Gemma and Michal ."

"We really should . We don't take no for an answer ." Louis pointed playfully at Anne , she smiled at the couple , "Alright , loves . Text me when and where ."

Harry kissed her temple and walked her back to her car , then came back inside to greet Louis properly .

Louis wrapped his arms around his middle , Harry squeezed him close , "Aren't you the best son-in-law ." He chuckled when he felt Louis' heart doing a jump , and kissed the top of his head .

"You'll give me a heart attack before I'm twenty four , stop it ." Louis pushed his face into his chest , Harry rocked them side to side , "You do realize you are going to be her son-in-law , officially , right ?"

"Yeah , but , it's scary ." Louis pouted up at him , pressing his chin to his chest .

"Why scary ?" Harry pouted back at him .

"Because ... because it's , like , permanent , you know ? It's even more real , it's an official pass that you're a part of the family ."

Harry smiled and kissed his forehead , "Yeah , it can be . But it's also exciting , and it's about us two more than it's about anyone else ."

"I know ." Louis nodded , Harry leaned down and kissed him quickly , "It's more than okay if you're not ready yet , love ."

"It's not - it's not that I'm not ready , I just -- I guess , after the accident I kind of thought I would never get married ." He chuckled sadly , "And then there's you , and you openly talk about us getting married in the future and I'm just a bit scared ."

Harry squeezed him closer and pressed a few kisses to his cheek , "Of course I want to marry you , Lou . I've known for a while now that if it's not you , it's not anyone . I love you so fucking much ."

"I love you too ." Louis smiled , Harry kissed him for a bit before they were interrupted by a cough . They pulled back to see Audrey standing there with a playfully annoyed face and arms crossed over her chest .

"Do I pay you to make out with your boyfriend ?" She asked , Louis bit back a smile and pulled back from Harry , "Sorry about that ."

"You're lucky you two are beautiful together ." She shook her head at them and returned to her office .

Harry chuckled a bit and turned his attention back to Louis , "I'll be going , then . See you at home ?"

"Yeah , see you ." Louis nodded , they shared one more kiss before Harry left the shop .

It was a week later , Anne's birthday . Harry made a reservasion at a restaurant he knew she liked and texted her and Gemma to let them know .

They all met in front of the restaurant to walk in together , the host took them to their table and gave away menus .

"Well well , if it isn't Harry Styles himself ."

Harry looked up , just as Louis' head snapped up to see who it was . His eyebrows raised when he saw Harry smiling , "Lara ? What are you doing here ?" He stood up from his seat to give her a hug .

"See that big arse piano over there ?" She nodded her head after pulling back from the hug , "Looks like I'll be playing for you guys tonight ."

"That's amazing , good luck up there ." Harry sat back down in his seat and reached for Louis' hand , "Well as you already know my family I'll introduce you to Louis , my boyfriend ."

"Oh wow , hi I'm Lara , Harry and I used to be neighbours ." Lara shook Louis' hand , Louis smiled at her , "Hi , nice meeting you ."

"You aswell . Always had a feeling Harry would go for a guy with blue eyes and smaller than him ." She winked , Harry slapped at her hand softly , "Stop ."

"Oi , idiot , I need this hand to play the piano ." She pulled her hand away , then turned to greet Anne aswell .

Louis squeezed Harry's hand , "Neighbours ?"

"Yeah . She was one of the very first people I came out to ." Harry nodded , "We went to different high schools though . Haven't seen her in forever ." He turned to face Louis and smirked , "What's the face for ?"

"Nothing ." Louis straightened in his chair and moved to sit closer to the table , looking through the menu .

Harry wasn't stupid though ; he knew Louis was feeling jealous , even if it was just a bit .

Lara went to the piano , flipped through a few pages before she started playing .

"She's good , isn't she ?" Anne smiled , Harry took the opportunity to tease Louis a bit as he nodded , "Yeah , she is . She's a pro . What do you think , Lou ?"

Louis looked up from the menu and nodded , "Yeah , she really is ."

Gemma was biting her lower lip as she watched the two in amusement ; she caught on as Harry introduced the two , and it was quite a fun sight .

A waitress collected their orders and took their menus , Harry scooted his chair closer to Louis and put his arm around the back of Louis' chair , he leaned in to whisper close to his ear , "You're so cute when you're jealous ."

Louis turned a bit in his seat to face him , he put his hand on his chest and leaned close to his ear , "I'll kill you in your sleep ." He patted his chest once before turning back to face the table properly , forcing back a chuckle when Harry laughed .

Their food arrived not too long after , Harry took a bite of his food and hummed , before scooping up another bite and bringing the fork to Louis' lips , "Try it , you'll love this ."

Louis let Harry feed him the bite , he hummed and nodded , "Oh yeah , it's really good . Want to try some of mine ?" He asked , Harry nodded and let Louis feed him a bite of his own food .

"You're cute when you stick your tongue out before you eat ." Louis smiled and poked his dimple , Harry smiled at him and placed his hand on his knee , "You're cute all the time ."

"No mum , it's your birthday -- if you don't put it away I'm messing up your kitchen again ." Harry threatened playfully , Anne squinted at him , "You would never ."

"Try me ." Harry let everyone else put their money in the bill , before handing it back to the waitress .

They stood up to leave , Harry wrapped his arm around Louis' waist as they walked out of the place .

"Harry !"

The two turned their heads to see Lara walking out of the restaurant and over to them . "I'm sorry for bothering , I just wanted to say goodbye . I'm leaving town next month ." She walked over , Harry pouted a bit and wrapped her in another hug , "Where are you off to ?"

"Moving to the other side of the country to continue studying music , doing more piano stuff ." She hugged back , "It was so nice seeing you tonight ."

"You too ." Harry smiled and squeezed her before pulling back .

Louis moved to Gemma and busied himself with talking to her , when Harry called him . He turned his head , blinking a few times at the sight of Harry with his arm around her shoulders .

"Come here , love ."

Louis walked over to the two , and was surprised when Lara hugged him , "Take care of him , he may be an absolute idiot but he really loves you ."

"Will do ." Louis nodded as he hugged her back , "Been doing that for over a year now ."

"Good ." She smiled , before cooing , "So small ."

"I'm literally five foot nine , thank you very much ." Louis rolled his eyes playfully , Lara pulled back with a deadpanned face . "Louis - I am five nine ."

Harry smirked and grabbed Louis , holding him to his chest , "He's my small baby ." He kissed all over his forehead , Lara pretended to throw up . 

"Alright , I'll be going now . It was great seeing you and your family , Harry , and nice meeting you Louis ." Lara waved goodbye and walked back to the restaurant .

Harry kept Louis pressed to his chest as he grinned , "You're adorable when you're jealous , baby , but you more than anyone else know just how gay and in love with you I am ."

Louis huffed and half-heartedly tried pulling away from him , Harry held him tighter and kissed him , "Love you ."

They rejoined Harry's family and said their goodbyes , before getting back in Harry's car .

Harry walked into the living room with a bowl of popcorn , sitting down next to Louis and grabbing the other side of the soft blanket , "Come cuddle ."

"Ask Lara to cuddle you ."

"Loueh ."

"What ."

"Come and cuddle me ." He opened his arms , Louis shrugged , "You seemed really comfortable cuddling Lara , go ahead then ."

"If you don't get your wonderful , wonderful arse over here I swear I'll --"

"You'll go and cuddle Lara , yes , I know ."

Harry growled playfully , he put the popcorn bowl on the table and tackled Louis down to the couch , "Tell me you love me ." He tickled him , grinning as Louis laughed and tried getting away .

"Tell me you love me and I'll stop ." Harry laughed along , thankful he knew exactly where Louis' most ticklish spots were as his fingers slowly crept closer to them .

"I l-love you ! I love you , y-you monster !" Louis squealed , Harry stopped and leaned down to kiss his cheek , "I love you more , baby ." He sat up , Louis kicked him in the shoulder , "I'm calling the police on you ." He grabbed his phone from the table and pretended to dial , when in reality he texted Niall quickly before calling him .

"Nine one one , what's your emergency ?"

"Good , hi , I want to report a murder attempt ."

"How can we help you Sir ?"

"My boyfriend tried to kill me with tickles , I need every squad car you have to get over here and arrest him ."

"Your wish is our command , we're on our way ."

"Thank you kind Sir , have a good night ." Louis hung up and turned his attention back to Harry , "You're going to jail for life ."

Harry was rolling on the couch in laughter , before crawling over Louis' body to press a kiss to his lips , "You're so fucking adorable ."

"Get off and start the movie already ." Louis pushed at his shoulders with a smile .
