"I can't move yet ." Louis buried his face in his pillow , laying on his front with the sheets tangled around his body . Harry smirked from the bathroom entrace as he was brushing his teeth , moving closer to run his fingers through his hair , "I wonder why ."

Louis pouted , shivering when Harry's hand trailed down the back of his neck and spine . "Go away , finish brushing your teeth so you can cuddle with me some more ."

Harry returned to the bathroom and washed his mouth before returning to Louis , tucking himself in bed next to him . He kissed his shoulder a few times while rubbing his back , "Want to order something to the room ?"

Louis turned his head a bit to face him , "No , I want to get out of the room . But not yet , I want to lay down for a bit more ."

"Okay ." Harry pecked his cheek , "Want to go tan some more ?"

"Mm , sounds great ." Louis smiled , "Will we share an iced coffee with two straws ?"

"Oh , for sure ." Harry squeezed him closer .

Louis laid his towel on a poolside chair and sat down , pouting when Harry took out a bottle of sunscreen .

"Shirt off , love ." Harry only smiled as he sat behind Louis , "Let me do your back ."

"No , I want to tan . Get that away from me ." Louis slapped the bottle out of his hands , Harry laughed and picked the bottle up , "I'm not letting you get away from it , now take your shirt off ."

Louis huffed but took his shirt off , a pout on his lips as Harry rubbed the sunscreen on his shoulders and back , then moved to sit in front of him as he put more on his chest and arms .

"How will I tan now ?" Louis pouted and laid on his back , Harry scrunched his nose , "You'll still tan , baby . It's not one hundred percent proof ." He tried rubbing sunscreen on his stomach , but Louis squirmed away and pushed him off , giggling . He rubbed the rest of the sunscreen himself and wiggled in his spot to get comfortable , closing his eyes as he soaked the sun in .

"Lou baby , I'm going to get us drinks ." He heard Harry saying , "Want anything to eat too ?"

He opened his eyes , smiling when he saw that Harry took his shirt off aswell , his tattoos and muscles on full display . "No , just drinks will do , thanks Haribo ."

Harry smiled and leaned down to peck his lips , "Don't miss me too much ."

"Don't flatter yourself ." Louis pushed him away playfully , Harry stuck his tongue out at him as he walked away , Louis flipped him off before turning to lay on his stomach , arms under his head .

He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds around him ; people chattering , the pool next to him , the ocean waves hitting the cruise ship , the footsteps on the deck . He breathed in , mixed scents of food , pool chlorine , salty sea .

"Well , hi , there ."

Louis opened his eyes and lifted his head , seeing a guy smiling at him from inside the pool , arms crossed over the edge of it , "Pained me inside to see you alone , thought I'd come to give you some company ."

"Oh , did you ?" Louis lifted his shoulders , leaning on his elbows with his hands under his chin . He found it funny how the guy thought he was alone , as Harry was always glued to his side , and with his large frame and muscles it was quite hard to miss him .

"Yeah , you're too pretty to be on your own ." The guy held his hand out , "Arnie ."

Louis chuckled but shook his hand , "Hi , Arnie . I'm Louis ." He pulled his hand back and sighed , "How can I help you ?"

"Tell me about yourself . Are you taken ?"

"I happily am , yes . Want me to tell you about him ?" Louis grinned at the thought of Harry , seeing him coming back . "Oh , there he is . Isn't he handsome ?"

Arnie turned his head to where Louis was looking , seeing Harry walking over with two drink glasses in his hands .

"His name is Harry , and we're here for our one year anniversary ." Louis bit his lower lip , smiling up at Harry as he reached them . He sat up and crossed his leg on the poolside chair , taking his drink , "Thank you ."

Harry smiled and settled himself behind Louis , arm wrapping around his waist as he brought him to lay against his chest , "Who are you talking to ?" He asked , his voice lower than usual .

Louis bit back a giggle , "This is Arnie , he saw that I was alone and kept me company ."

"Well , how nice ." Harry leaned down to press a kiss to his neck , before looking at Arnie , "Hi mate , I'm Harry , Louis' boyfriend ."

"Yeah , he - he told me ." Arnie nodded . 

Harry squeezed Louis closer , "So you talk about me ?"

"Pshh , all the time ." Louis leaned his head back to smile at him , smiling wider when Harry kissed the corner of his lips .

"Right , I - it was nice talking to you ." Arnie nodded once , Louis waved at him , "Nice meeting you ." He smiled , letting Harry pull him closer .

Once Arnie was far enough Louis laughed into his palm , turning around to face Harry , "You're so cute when you're jealous ."

"I wasn't jealous ." Harry shook his head , Louis raised his eyebrow , "Oh no ? Well then why did you make your voice deeper ? Huh ? And why did you glue yourself to my back ?"

"Oh shut up , as if you don't do the same when you're jealous ." Harry challenged back , a knowing smirk on his lips , "Should I remind you how you were jealous of twelve year-old girls ?"

Louis punched him in the stomach lightly , "I wasn't jealous ."

"Sure you weren't , baby ." Harry grinned and squished his cheeks with one hand , kissing him once before placing his drink down , "Help me do my back ." He grabbed the bottle of sunscreen and handed it to Louis .

Louis put his glass down and took the bottle , Harry turned his back to him , "Make sure the tattoos are covered properly ."

"I know how to put sunscreen on , thank you very much ." Louis rubbed the sunscreen on his wide shoulders , down his back and around his sides .

Once done Louis returned to his laying position , head turned so he could look at Harry , "It's our last night here tonight ." He pouted , Harry smiled as he laid down on his chair , "Heard there's a party on the deck tonight , want to go ?"

"Yeah , sounds fun . Been a while since we danced drunk ." Louis chuckled a bit , Harry smiled wider , "Would love to have you drunk and all over me ."

"I don't have to be drunk to be all over you ." Louis grinned back at him , Harry reached his hand out and pinched his side , "Don't tease ."

They tanned for about twenty minutes , soaking in the warmth of the sun on their skin . 

"Dear passengers - you are welcome to go over to the deck at the back of the ship and enjoy the ocean for a short while . Thank you and have a good day ."

Louis lifted his head up from the seat , before reaching his hand out to nudge Harry's shoulder , "Haribo ."

Harry opened his eyes , Louis held himself up on his elbows , "They're letting people in the water ." He said , Harry sat up a bit as he looked at him , "Do you - do you want to go ?"

Louis nodded his head and sat up aswell , "I want to try ."

"One hundred percent ?" Harry asked , Louis nodded again , "I want to try - just - let's go there , and see how it is ?"

Harry smiled softly , "Okay . Let's go ."

They stood up from their seats , taking towels along with the small bag they brought for their small belongings , not bothering to put their shirts on as they followed people to the deck . 

They walked down a few staircases until they reached the deck , Harry put his arm around Louis' waist , "Want to just go sit on the edge with our legs in the water ?"

Louis bit his lower lip and nodded , following Harry to the edge . Harry put their towels down small bag down before helping Louis sit down , sitting down next to him . He helped him with the prosthetic , slowly taking the fabrics covering his thigh .

"Ready ?" 

"Ready ."

Harry put his legs in the water , Louis hooked his arm around Harry's as he slowly lowered his leg down into the water , lifting his head up to look over the ocean .

"Pretty , isn't it ?" Harry asked , Louis nodded , "Y-Yeah . Pretty ."

Louis watched as people jumped into the water , swimming around as they stayed close-by . He wanted to go in there too , wanted to try and maybe swim - though he didn't know how to swim with one leg , and just seeing those people in the water made him shiver a bit , thinking about anything that could emerge from under the surface and hurt them .

Harry grabbed Louis' hand and brought it to his lips , kissing the back of it and his knuckles a few times , "Baby ."

"Hm ?"

"Want to try and go in the water ?"

Louis turned his head to look at him , Harry held his hand with both his large ones , "We won't go far , just stay here , close to the deck . I'll hold you , pull you out the moment you tell me to ."

"I - I kind of want to try , but I-I'm scared ." Louis bit his lower lip .

"It's alright love , we don't have to . It was just a suggestion ." Harry gave him a reassuring smile , though Louis shook his head , "No , let's - let's go in ."

Harry eyed him for a few seconds before nodding , "Okay . Let's try ." He leaned in and kissed his cheek , before slowly lowering himself into the water .

"Come here ." Harry kept one hand on the deck , his other held open towards Louis . Louis put his hands on Harry's shoulder , he took a deep breath and counted back in his head before pushing himself off the edge of the deck and into Harry's chest , arms wrapped tightly around Harry's shoulders .

Harry wrapped his arm around him and kissed the crook of his neck , "You're alright baby , I've got you ."

The feeling of the waves moving them around , the salty smell of the sea , the bottomless water under their bodies - it was all too familiar , and Louis wasn't sure if it made him feel nostalgic , or made him freak out .

"Talk to me ." Harry squeezed him gently , "What's on your mind , baby ?"

Louis sighed out and leaned his chin on his shoulder , "I fell nostalgic . Kind of . Throws me back to when I was seventeen , eighteen . But I also feel like I might freak out , I'm not sure though ."

Harry nodded , "Want to get out ?"

"No . It's nice like that ." Louis held onto him tighter , Harry smiled and kissed the crook of his neck a few times .

They stayed there for almost ten minutes , before Louis tapped Harry's shoulder , "Let's get out ."

Harry quickly hoisted him back up onto the deck , he leaned his elbows on the edge as he watched Louis wrapping a towel around himself . He smiled , "I'm so proud of you ."

Louis blushed soft-pink as a smile stretched on his lips , "Shu'up ."

"I'm serious . I'm so fucking proud of you , baby - you just went into the ocean . That's a big deal and I'm really proud of you ." Harry put a large hand on his knee , Louis bit his lower lip , "Come up here and kiss me , then ."

Harry pressed his palms to the deck and lifted himself up , leaning close to Louis so he could press their lips together . Louis smiled as he held onto his cheeks , "Your back muscles are making me mushy inside ." He giggled .

"How can you be so cute and so fucking hot at the same time ?" Harry pulled himself out of the water , Louis put the other towel around his shoulders , "I'll show you later ."

"Oh ?" Harry smirked , Louis poked his dimple , "What if I meant I wanted to cuddle ?"

"Sure , yeah , we can cuddle once I'm done with you ." Harry leaned in and kissed him , "Let's get your prosthetic back on so we can head back to our room ."

They missed lunch , so Harry went to buy some snacks and drinks from the bar . He returned to their room , Louis was still laying in bed , now having pulled on a pair of boxers and one of Harry's tank tops .

Louis smiled as he lifted himself up on his elbow , "Is it fried chicken and curly french fries ?"

"You know it is ." Harry smiled , he put the food on the bed and went to put their drinks in the mini-fridge . He settled back next to Louis , pulling his shirt off to get comfortable .

Louis opened the tin-foils , "I really don't want to go back tomorrow ." He pouted a bit before taking a bite of the chicken , feeding some to Harry .

Harry turned the TV on , "Me neither . I miss the lads though ."

"I miss our bed , it's my favourite cuddle spot ." Louis finished his chicken , "I also miss the flower shop ."

"Yeah , can't wait to go back to the parlors . Hope they weren't trashed down ." Harry chuckled , "It's been a long time since I left for that long ."

"I'm sure they handled themselves . They would've called if something wasn't okay ." Louis assured him as he fed him some fries , "Now let's focus on being here before we have to go back ."

Harry smiled , "Want to make out outside on the balcony ?"

Louis giggled a bit , "How about you let your jaw rest a bit , okay ? Finish eating and we'll nap ."

"Do you promise to kiss me before we nap ?" Harry leaned closer , head on Louis' shoulder , "Doesn't have to be making out , just little kisses ."

"I can't resist you ." Louis pecked his nose , "Now eat ."

"Cheers ." Harry held his shot glass , Louis grinned as he held his own shot glass , "Cheers ."

They drank down their shots and handed back the small glasses , Harry grabbed Louis around the waist and pulled him to the dance floor . Louis wrapped his arms around Harry's shoulders , moving his body in rhythm to the beat of the song .

Harry moved along , kissing Louis' cheek a few times before connecting their lips together . Louis put his hand on the back of Harry's head and deepened the kiss a bit , pulling back to giggle , "Are you sure your jaw is okay ?"

"It's having the time of it's life , baby ." Harry smiled and kissed him again , he wrapped his arms tighter around Louis' waist and picked him up , doing a little twirl before placing him back down , "The best time ."

"Both cheesy and cheeky at the same time , Haribo , you're a man of all talents ." Louis laughed , "How did I get so lucky ?"

"Oh please . I'm the lucky one ." Harry kissed him , "It's been the best year of my life and I can't wait to spend the rest of forever with you ."

Louis raised his eyebrows , "I - really ? You really want that ?"

"There's nothing I want more ." Harry brushed their noses together , "Can't see my future without you , Lou ."

Louis cupped his cheeks , "I love you ."

"I love you more ." Harry smiled and kissed him sweetly , squeezing him close to his chest . 

They danced , drank and laughed into each other's mouths for an hour and a half , before Harry dragged Louis away from the party and to the lounge area . 

He sat down at one of the cushioned seats and pulled Louis into his lap , Louis leaned sleepily into his chest , "I can't wait to try surfing again ."

Harry smiled and kissed his cheek , "Can't wait to see you back on the surfboard ."

"Will you surf with me ?" Louis asked and lifted himself up a bit to look at him , Harry smiled wider , "Willing to try , though you'll have to be really patient , I'm pretty clumsy ."

"That you are ." Louis giggled , "Don't worry though , I'm sure you'll do good ."

"Can't wait to see you wearing your surfing suit again ." Harry kissed his neck a few times .

"Only because you say it makes my bum look good ." Louis laughed , Harry squeezed him closer , "Your bum looks good in everything and anything ." He put his hand on his bum cheek and squeezed , making Louis squeak , "Ow , be careful , still hurts a little bit ."

"I was gentle , though ." Harry let his palm rest on his cheek , Louis poked his cheek , "You were , but you still weren't very merciful ."

"But did you like it ?"

"I loved it ."

"I love you ."

"I love you more ."

"No you don't ."

"Of course I do ."

"Nope , you don't . Say it ." Harry pushed him down against the pillows of the seat as he tickled him , "Say that I love you more ."

"N-No ! Not saying !" Louis laughed , squirming around the seat , "Stop it !"

"Say that I love you more ."

"I l-love you more !"

Harry gaped playfully , though couldn't stop himself from smiling at his cuteness , "Cheeky little baby ." His fingers tickled around every sensitive spot he could get to , grinning at Louis' giggles and laughter .

"Okay , okay , enough ." Harry chuckled and pulled his hands back , Louis wrapped his arms around his middle and kicked at Harry's chest lightly , "You arse , I almost died ."

"Yeah yeah , heard that before ." Harry grinned , "Now come here ." He crawled above him and pressed their lips together , "I love you ."

"I love you ." Louis held his shirt in his hands , letting Harry kiss him as much as he wanted .
