I'm not better , but I'm not worse either . My liver is acting up , my spleen is twice it's size , I'm pretty weak and I can't do anythyng about it . Fun .

Harry woke up after sleeping in for a bit , close to eleven a.m . He moved his arms around the bed with his eyes still closed , trying to feel if Louis was next to him . He groaned softly when all he felt was empty sheets , eyes fluttering open .

He looked above him , smiling when he saw helium balloons floating at the ceiling , white strings dangling from them , every balloon had a small note attached at the bottom .

Harry sat up and reached for the closest note , smiling gently as he read through the notes .

Harry grinned happily , looking up when he saw Louis walking into the room with a cake lit with candles , a smile on his lips .

"Happy birthday ." Louis walked carefully to the bed , sitting down in front of Harry . Harry wanted to lean closer to kiss him , but the candles were burning and he didn't want to risk anything . "Hi baby ."

"Make a wish and blow out the candles , then we can go down for breakfast and eat the cake for dessert ." Louis held the cake up a bit more , Harry smiled and closed his eyes , before opening them and blowing out the candles as Louis cheered .

Harry took the cake from Louis' hands and placed it on the night stand as Louis rambled on about their day plans .

"So now we're going to have breakfast with everyone , then we're going to your mum's for a bit . Then the afternoon is just for us , and in the ev --" He was cut off by Harry wrapping his arms around his waist , hoisting him up and onto his lap as he kissed him .

Louis smiled and held his cheeks , leaning into the kiss . "Mm , Haribo , we --"

"Shh . Kissy time ." Harry rolled them over to pin Louis down on the bed on his back , Louis laughed softly as he kissed him for a bit more before pushing him back , "Everyone is waiting downstairs for you to join us for breakfast ."

Harry grumbled and kissed Louis once more before sitting up , helping Louis up aswell . "Act surprised when we go downstairs , okay ? You're not supposed to know ." Louis kissed him quickly and got out of bed , Harry stood up and stretched before going to brush his teeth .

When he was done he went back to the bedroom , where he saw that Louis made the bed and laid clothes out for him to wear . He changed and met Louis outside the room , Louis grabbed his hand and went down the stairs with him , they rounded the corner to the dining area and were met with all of their friends .

"Happy birthday !"

Harry grinned at them , Louis put his hand on his back and pushed him further into the room , watching with a smile as everyone greeted him with hugs and kisses .

Niall went to stand next to Louis , wrapping his arm around his shoulders , "Was he giving you a hard time getting out of bed ?"

Louis chuckled , "Kind of , but not really . He just pulled me into bed and kissed me and wouldn't let go ."

"Jesus , can you two get any cuter ?" Niall laughed , Louis rolled his eyes and pulled back from the side hug , "Shut it . Let's go eat ."

Everyone sat around the table , Harry turned a bit to face Louis and wrapped his arms around him , "Thank you for breakfast ." He kissed his cheek , Louis held his jaw as he pecked him quickly , "Welcome . I didn't do everything on my own , obviously , everyone here helped ."

Harry nodded and kissed him once more before turning to his plate to start filling it with food .

"Happy birthday , dear ." Anne grinned as Harry and Louis walked through the front door , Harry smiled and wrapped her in a hug , "Thank you ."

Anne kissed his cheek , "You're growing up at a rapid pace , you're twenty six , I can't believe it ."

"Oh stop it , I'm still a kid at heart ." Harry laughed as they pulled back , Anne turned to hug Louis aswell , "How was breakfast ?"

"It was really good , everyone loved the salad you made ." Louis hugged her back , Anne gave him a gentle squeeze , "Alright you two , go to the living room , i'll be right there ."

Harry took Louis' hand and walked with him to the living room , the two sat on the couch and smiled when Anne's two cats , Evie and Dotty , came up to the two .

"Which one is Evie and which one is Dotty ?" Louis asked , petting one of them gently .

Harry cuddled one of the cats on his lap , "You're with Dotty , Evie is with me . Evie has more white fur than Dotty ."

"They're so cute ." Louis rubbed under Dotty's chin , smiling when she purred .

Anne walked into the living room with a tray filled with a teapot , three mugs and a plate of chocolate chip cookies , placing it on the living room table . Just then Louis noticed the albums on the table and smiled , "Are these ... ?"

"Go ahead ." Anne nodded her head towards the photo albums , Louis reached for one and held it on his lap , flipping it open . He cooed at the pictures , "Aw , Haribo , look at you ."

Harry smiled with pink blush on his cheeks , shifting closer to lean his chin on Louis' shoulder to look down at the pictures with him .

"Oh my god , you were such a cute baby ." Louis traced the picture , thanking Anne when she placed a mug in front of him .

Anne held Dotty in her lap , "Can you believe he used to be this tiny baby ?"

"I know , look at how little he is ." Louis bit his lower lip and turned to squish Harry's cheeks with one hand , "Now he's a giant , but still as soft as a baby ."

Harry smiled and moved his arm to wrap around Louis , hand resting on the dip of his waist while his other hand pet Evie .

"Please ?" Harry pouted as he sat down on the armrest of the couch , Louis smiled and stood between his knees , "For the fifth time , Haribo , it's a surprise ." He cupped his cheeks , "I can't tell you ."

"I'll know either way when we get there ." Harry huffed , arms wrapping around Louis' waist , "Pleaseeee ."

Louis chuckled and leaned in , kissing Harry softly , "Nope ." He gave him a light shove to make him fall backwards on the couch . What he wasn't expecting , was for Harry to pull him along . He squeaked as he fell on Harry's chest , both laughing against each other .

Harry carefully helped Louis roll off him , Louis pecked his cheek before standing up on his feet , "Sit up , I'm going to get your presents ."

Louis walked up the stairs to the guest bedroom , where he hid the presents , took the two gift bags and walked back downstairs to the living room .

Harry smiled when he walked over , he took the bags and put them on the couch next to him , then turned to Louis and pulled him into his lap sideways , kissing him , "Thank you , baby ."

"Open them , now , I want to see your reaction ." Louis kissed him once more before sliding off his lap to sit next to him , Harry took one of the bags and reached inside , smiling as he pulled out a few button-ups , sweaters and shirts in different colours and patterns .

"Love them , thanks love ." Harry smiled as he unfolded each shirt to look at it , "Which one do you think I should wear tonight ?"

"I'll tell you later ." Louis smiled widely .

Harry put the shirts aside and took the second gift bag , he reached inside and pulled out a small box , furrowing his eyebrows . He opened it and smiled down at the Ruby ring . He had two rings on his right hand , the rose ring and another basic , thick silver one , so he added the Ruby ring and slid it on his fore finger .

"Looks good on you ." Louis smiled and took his hand to look down on his rings , Harry grabbed one of Louis' hands and pulled it up to his lips , kissing his knuckles . He then turned back to the gift bag for the last present , he pulled out a box and opened it , chuckling to himself .

"Now we can match ." Louis grinned and hugged his bicep , Harry smiled and pulled out the black Vans shoes . He checked the size , Louis gaped and punched him lightly in the ribs , "You don't trust that I know your shoe size ? That's offensive ."

"Just making sure , baby ." Harry put the shoes back in the box , he then turned to Louis and wrapped his arms around him , kissing him softly , "I love my presents , thank you love ."

Louis held his cheeks , "Want you to model your new shirts so I can see if I did a good job picking them ." He kissed him , Harry smiled and kissed him for a short while longer before pulling back , "Sit tight ."

He stood up and took his shirt off , reaching for one of the new shirts . Louis grinned and wiggled in his seat to get comfortable , crossing his legs on the living room table .

"Hariboooo ! Our ride is here ." Louis called from the entrace as he slipped his coat on , Harry walked down the stairs and took his coat from Louis' hands , slipping it on quickly . "Ready ."

"Perfect ." Louis smiled and took the house keys with one hand , his other hand holding Harry's . They walked out of the house , Louis locked the door and took Harry with him down the pathway to the party bus waiting for them .

Harry grinned , "A bus ?"

"Not just any bus ." Louis smiled back at him and walked into the bus , greeting the driver . He walked with him further in and grinned at all of their friends sitting there .

Harry laughed in delight as Louis pulled him along , they sat down just in time for the bus to start driving .

Niall didn't waste any time handing them beer bottles , everyone clinked their bottles together as they called 'cheers' and 'happy birthday' .

Music started playing through the speakers , Niall and Adam stood up grabbing onto the poles , making up dance moves as everyone laughed and sang along .

Twenty five minutes later they reached their destination , they unloaded from the bus , Louis stopped on his way out to thank the driver before stepping outside . He took Harry's hand and the group walked into the pub , going upstairs to the VIP room .

Most of the people they invited were there already , Louis kissed Harry's cheek and pushed him further into the room , while he went to get the two of them drinks .

He ordered two shots and took them to where Harry was stood talking to a few friends , he handed Harry the shot glass and smiled up at him , Harry took the glass with one hand , his other hand resting on Louis' waist .

"Cheers ." Louis smiled , Harry smiled back , "Cheers , love ." They drank their shots , Louis made a sour face before laughing as Harry brought him closer and kissed him . He pulled back and took the empty glass from Harry's hand , "I'll put these back at the bar ."

"Come back after , want to introduce you ." Harry snuck a kiss to his cheek , Louis nodded and put the two glasses back at the bar before going back to Harry .

Harry introduced him to some of his friends he didn't know , some from the gym and some from high school . He even met Maria , the girl he met back when he came for a job interview at a Cafe , and her girlfriend Liz , who bought his dining table when he was selling furniture before moving in with Harry .

As everyone started filling the dance floor , Louis grabbed two small bottles of glowing paint and went over to Harry , "Come here ."

Harry walked over and looked down at the paint , smiling goofily before sitting down on the back of a couch so his face was levelled with Louis .

Louis placed dots above Harry's left eyebrow , and under his right eye . Harry then took one of the bottles and brought Louis closer to stand between his knees , placing dots along Louis' cheekbones and a triangle on his forehead between his eyebrows . He tried placing a dot on the tip of Louis' nose , Louis giggled and leaned away .

They handed the paint bottles over and went to the dance floor , Harry held Louis against his body as they moved together , Louis grinned as he danced along , one arm around Harry's massive shoulders while his other around his back .

"Go pay attention to your friends , love ." Louis leaned closer to Harry's ear so he could hear him , Harry held him closer , "Dance with me a bit longer ."

Louis smiled and kissed him , Harry hummed and pulled them flushed against each other , dipping Louis backwards . Louis laughed and gripped Harry tighter , Harry grinned and helped him back up , "Thank you for today ."

"We're not done with 'today' yet , Haribo . But you're more than welcome ." Louis kissed him , then pecked the tip of his nose , "Now go pay attention to your friends ." He pressed one more kiss to his lips before pulling back , going to sit with Sarah and Zayn on the couch .

Zayn held Louis' hand , "Harry seems to be really enjoying himself , you did a good job ."

"We did a good job ." Louis squeezed his hand , "No way I could've gotten it done without any of you guys ."

Liam came over and held his hands out for Zayn , "Get up , come dance with me ."

"No , we talked about this , I can't dance ." Zayn shook his head , Liam grabbed both Zayn's hands and pulled him gently , "Up , now ."

Zayn groaned half-heartedly as Liam pulled him , Louis joined in and pushed Zayn off the couch , "Go on , shake that arse a bit ." He smiled as he watched the two disappearing into the crowd of dancing people .

Sarah turned to Louis , "Should we go get a drink ?"

"Sounds great , let's go ." Louis smiled and stood up from the couch , the two sat on the bar stools and ordered their drinks .

Harry took his time dancing with his friends , taking a shot glass from the tray that was handed around for anyone to take . He looked around a bit and quickly found Louis at the bar , he walked over and wrapped his arms around him , kissing his cheek a few times .

Louis smiled and turned a bit in his seat , "Are you having a good time ?" He asked , although he could already tell the answer .

"The best time . Thank you , baby ." Harry smiled , eyes glossy as he was slightly drunk , Louis kissed him and turned to finish his drink , then jumped off the stool carefully .

Harry pulled him along , sitting on the couch with Louis on his lap , pressing a kiss to Louis' lips . Louis hummed and kissed back , arms wrapping around his neck . They kissed for a bit before hearing everyone around them going in the same direction , Louis looked up and pulled away from Harry , "They brought out the pizza , let's go eat ."

"I want to kiss youuu ." Harry pulled his bottom lip out , Louis smiled and grabbed his hands , "We have all night , love . Let's go eat now ."

"A bit more kissy time ?" Harry stood up from his seat and grabbed Louis' waist , Louis bit his lower lip , "If you don't eat , how would you have enough energy to have me tonight ?"

Harry's eyes widened , his smile growing wider , "Let's go eat ."

A few hours later the party died down and the guests were leaving , Louis had Harry's head on his lap as they sat on the couch .

"Our ride is here ." Zayn let the two know , Harry sat up and let Louis help him into his coat , they were the last ones to leave the place .

Louis thanked the DJ Niall got from his record label , and Gared who hosted the party , before following everyone out of the building and to the mini-bus that was going to drop everyone off at their places .

Harry sat down with his arm around Louis as the bus started driving . "Guys , I just wanted to say thank you for tonight , I had an amazing time and I hope you had a good time aswell ." He smiled , Louis leaned against him and smiled as everyone let Harry know they had a good time .

The first ones to be dropped off were Mitch and Sarah , then Zayn and Liam , and then Louis and Harry .

They got off the mini-bus and walked quickly up the pathway , Louis unlocked the front door and walked in with Harry , locking the door behind them .

Harry shrugged his coat off and helped Louis out of his own coat , they kicked their shoes off before Harry grabbed Louis' hips , pressing their lips in a kiss .

Louis smiled and kissed back , hands going up to the back of his head to pull him closer . "Let's hurry up , I'm super tired ." He said , giggling when Harry grabbed him from his thighs under his bum , lifting him up to carry him up the stairs to their bedroom .

"Be careful , please , be careful ." Louis gripped Harry tightly as he giggled against his neck , Harry smiled and kissed his shoulder , "I've got you , baby ." They reached the top of the stairs , Harry walked into their bedroom and closed the door with his foot , dropping both of them on the bed .

Louis smiled as he unbuttoned Harry's shirt , rolling it off his shoulders . Harry threw the shirt off , grabbing the hem of Louis' shirt and helping him out of it . He slid it up his torso , leaning down to kiss his tummy as he pushed it up .

"Ha--Harry ." Louis laughed , squirming away , "Stop it ."

Harry smiled and pulled back , helping Louis out of his shirt completely before taking his jeans off , and his prosthetic leg . Louis grabbed the front button of Harry's pants , "Off ." He unbuttoned it , helping Harry shimmy out of his pants .

Harry pressed gentle kisses to the front of Louis' shoulder , moving up a bit to kiss his neck .

"So tired ." Louis mumbled as he rolled to press himself to Harry's chest , Harry held him closer and kissed his temple , "Thank you for today ."

"If you thank me one more time ..." Louis brought his hand up to squish Harry's cheeks , though didn't finish his sentence .

Harry smirked , "You'll what ? Eh ?" He tickled him gently , "Tell me ."

Louis laughed and pushed his hand away weakly , squirming against his chest . Harry stopped and moved his hand off his ribs to rest on the small of his back , he kissed his temple a few times , "I love you ."

"Love you more ." Louis smiled , Harry scrunched his nose , "No you don't ." He silenced him with a kiss .
