"All the presents are in the car , are you packed ?" Harry walked into his and Louis' bedroom , Louis shoved a few more clothings into his suitcase , "Just a minute , need my body lotion - and everything in the bathroom ." Louis skipped into the bathroom with a small bag , shoving in everything he needed .

Harry took the time to organize Louis' suitcase to make room for the bag , chuckling quietly as he realized just how many clothes Louis brought , shaking his head in amusement when he found a few of his own shirts in there .

Louis walked out of the bathroom and dumped the bag into the suitcase , "Just my shoes and I'm done , I promise !" He skipped out of the room , Harry smiled and smacked his bum softly , "Hurry up , will you ."

Louis grabbed a few pairs of shoes from the entrace and walked back upstairs , he shoved them into the suitcase and sighed , "Done ."

"You sure you don't need more ?" Harry teased , Louis elbowed him in the abs , "Shut it , I thought everything through . Also it's my birthday tomorrow and I want to dress up , leave me be ." He closed his suitcase and zipped it .

Harry wrapped his arms around him from behind and pressed warm kisses to his neck , "Can't wait to give you your presents ."

Louis turned around to face him , stretching his arms up to wrap them around his neck and pull him down to kiss him , "You could buy me a bag of air and i'd still love it ."

"So you want a bag of crisps for your birthday or Christmas ?"

Louis giggled , he pecked Harry's lips quickly before turning around to pull his suitcase off the bed , Harry took the handle from his hands , "Make sure the house is completely locked up , I'll put this in the car ."

"Okay . Oh and don't forget the stuff in the fridge too ." Louis said and walked to their window , making sure it's locked before covering it with the blinds .

"Fuck , right . Okay ." Harry said as he rolled the suitcase out of the room , Louis locked the second window , "I'll help you ! Just - just a minute ."

"Had a nice nap ?" Harry turned to smile at Louis , who stirred awake in the passenger's seat . Louis smiled and pulled Harry's jacket tighter around himself , "Yeah . Well kind of . I hate sleeping with the prosthetic on , it's so uncomfortable ."

"You could've pulled it off , you know ." Harry stopped at a red light .

"Yeah sure , just let me take my pants off in front of all these people in their cars ."

"No one looks into other people's cars , Lou ." Harry laughed , Louis shook his head , "You never know when a creep is looking at you . Like you do when I sleep , so creepy Haribo ."

Harry laughed again , "Oi , I'm your boyfriend , I'm allowed to stare . Also don't act so innocent , I know very well you stare at me when I'm taking my clothes off ." He poked him in the side . Louis squirmed in his seat , slapping his hand away , "Hands on the wheel , I wish to live for my twenty third birthday ."

"We're hereee !" Louis called as he opened the door , hurrying inside to escape the cold . He put his suitcase aside and looked around , smiling when Ernest ran up to him and hugged his legs .

Harry smiled as he followed Louis in , he put his suitcase down and smiled when Ernest shyly held his arms up for Harry to hug him .

"Hey , lad , how are you ?" Harry picked him up , Ernest smiled , "Good ."

Harry cuddled him for a bit before putting him back down on his feet , Doris ran up to them and held her arms out for Louis .

Louis grinned and picked her up , "Hi love , where's everyone ?" He rubbed her back and walked into the living room , Doris lifted her head up from his shoulder , "Mummy is upstairs with daddy , Lott and Fizz here , Daisy and Pheebs in their rooms ."

Louis kissed her cheek and handed her to Harry , going to greet Lottie and Felicite . The two hugged their brother tightly , he kissed their heads , "Are the twins upstairs , then ?"

"Yeah , they're doing each other's hairs ." Lottie said , the three turned to smile at Harry and Doris , watching as the little girl ran her hands through his hair while Harry smiled and closed his eyes .

Jay walked into the living room , smiling , "Knew I heard you two ." She gave Harry a hug and a peck on the cheek , Harry smiled and put Doris down to greet Lottie and Felicite , while Louis and Jay embraced each other .

"I'm so happy for you that things are better now ." Jay said , Louis nodded , "Yeah , things are so much better ." They pulled back from the cuddle , "Right now we both work on saving money , because we paid a lot for the new house and everything . I - I decided I want to sue the new manager from the restaurant , and so we have a meeting with a really good lawyer Harry's mum , Anne , knows ."

"Good . Get some justice , if you need any financial help -"

"No , you and Dan are providing to feed seven people . I'll be fine ." Louis shook his head , Jay pinched his cheek , "All grown up now , aren't we ?"

Louis scrunched his nose , "I've been a grown up for a while , you know , you just decided to baby me until I was , like , twenty one and decided to move out ."

"I'll baby you even when you're fifty . Watch me ." Jay squinted her eyes at him , before going to the kitchen , "I'll make lunch ."

Harry lifted his head up , "I'll come help ." He followed her , on his way out he put his arm around Louis , "Can you get the food from the car ? We'll get the presents later ."

Louis nodded and took the car keys , walking out of the house . He carried the grocery bags to the kitchen , "I'm going upstairs to see what Dais and Pheebs are taking so long for , and I'll come down here to help you ."

He hugged Dan when he walked into the kitchen , then went upstairs to see his sisters .

After lunch Harry took his and Louis' suitcases up the stairs to Louis' old room ; it would be free for them to sleep in , since Gemma would be spending Christmas with her boyfriend's family , though promised to come and visit on the twenty sixth .

Louis smiled at Harry , who yawned into his palm as he sat down on the bed . He put his hands on Harry's cheeks , "Get in bed , take a nap ." 

Harry cupped Louis' hands around his face , "Take a nap with me ?"

Louis bit his lower lip , "I can never say no to your cute face ."

"Lucky me ." Harry kissed the heel of his hand , Not for long though , we need to have a good night's sleep because we have a very busy day tomorrow ."

"Hm , I wonder why ." Louis squished his cheeks , making his lips pout . "Can I know what's planned ?"

"Nope . It's a surprise . Your mum knows , though , and she swore to secrecy so don't try to get it out of her ."

Louis huffed and pulled back , going to his suitcase , "Why is everyone against me in the household , I can never get a break ."

"Have you got anything planned with your mates ?" Jay asked Louis , who was currently having his back massaged by Harry , sitting on the couch after dinner .

"Yeah , we're having a night at Calvin's on the twenty fifth ." Louis nodded and took his tea mug from the table , sipping on it before turning his head to look at Harry from the corner of his eye , "Harry , did your mum tell you when she's coming ?"

"She'll be here tomorrow in the afternoon ." Harry said , working on massaging the knots out of Louis' spine , "And my step dad , Robin , is going to come aswell . You haven't met him yet , have you ?"

Louis shook his head , "No , but you , Gems and Anne told me a lot about him ."

"He's away on business trips a lot , and he's having two weeks off for the holidays ." Harry said .

"That's nice ." Louis nodded , "So they'll be here tomorrow afternoon ?"

"Yeah , they should be here around two , maybe three ."

Jay yawned into her hand , "Sorry boys , I'm knackered . I'm heading to bed , you two should do the same . Tomorrow morning we'll be up bright and early ." She caressed Louis' cheek before moving to walk out of the living room , "Have a good night ."

"Good night mum ." "You too , Jay ."

Louis put his mug back on the table and shifted around to face Harry , "We should get the presents from the car ."

"In a bit . Want the kids to go in their rooms so we can hide the boxes and bags in your room ." Harry wrapped his arms around Louis' waist and pulled him closer , "You have such a beautiful family ."

Louis smiled as he wrapped his arms around Harry's shoulders , "This is going to be the best birthday ever ."

"Mm , why ?" Harry pressed his smile into Louis' cheek , Louis bit his lower lip , "Because - because I have you ."

Harry cooed and kissed his cheek , moving to kiss his lips . He snuck his arms around Louis' back and under his knees , lifting him up as he stood up from the couch , "I really want to kiss you but we're going to have to go to your room , don't want to scar the little ones ."

Louis giggled and shook his head , "You say that like we take our make-out sessions too far ."

"Well , then , I just wanted an excuse to kiss you without being worried about anybody walking in on us ." Harry walked into Louis' room and kicked the door closed with his foot , Louis slid down from his arms and cupped his cheeks , "You do remember we need to get the presents from the car , right ?"

Harry scrunched his nose and tackled Louis down to the bed , laying ontop of him , "I'll get it later ."
