"Thank you so much for helping , lads ." Harry smiled at Adam and Niall , who smiled back and patted his back .

"It's nothing , H , don't worry ." Niall smiled and followed Harry into the new house , hands full with cleaning supplies . "Where's Louis ?"

"He should be here in a bit , he needed to run a few errands this morning about his apartment ." Harry said and put his tools down , "Let's start with the kitchen ."

"Wait , we needs music in the background ." Adam said and fished his phone out of his pocket , "No way we're cleaning without songs in the background ."

"I second that ." Niall nodded , "I have a speaker in the car , want to get it ?" Niall handed him the car keys , Adam took it and walked out of the house quickly .

Harry smiled and took a few things to the kitchen , "We need to do the cabinets , then the countertop . Shouldn't take long ."

Adam walked into the kitchen with songs playing , Niall grinned and started dancing , bumping his hip with Harry's to encourage him to dance too . Harry laughed and danced along , before throwing a mop for Adam to catch , "Let's start ."

They wiped clean all of the cabinets and drawers , which took longer than it should have due to the three singing and dancing along . They didn't even hear Louis walking in , who was there right on time to see the three twerking to a random song he knew he and Niall heard once on TikTok .

"Looking good , lads ." He chuckled , the three turned to him though didn't stop , only encouraged him to join . Louis raised his eyebrows , "Get back to cleaning , will you ."

Harry smiled and walked up to Louis while shimmying , he put his arms around his waist and kissed him , "Hi love ."

"Hi ." Louis poked his dimple , "It looks like the three of you are getting the work done and I'm not needed here ."

"You're always needed ." Harry tilted his head , Louis kissed his cheek , "Alright . What can I do ?"

"Niall wouldn't let me pick him up to reach the top of the cabinets , so come on ." Harry pulled him along , before moving to stand behind him . "Spread your legs ."

"Oi , that's rude ." Louis pouted , eyes widening when Harry crouched down behind him and grabbed the tops of his thighs above his knees , before pulling Louis ontop of his shoulder , making him squeal .

Harry chuckled and helped Louis' prosthetic so the back of it's foot was pressed to Harry's back for balance . Louis twisted his fingers in Harry's hair , "You're going to get me killed , Haribo ."

"Shush , I've got you ." Harry patted his thigh and handed him a mop . Louis took it before smoothing Harry's hair back into it's look . "The prosthetic isn't uncomfortable for you , right ?"

"No love , it's alright ." Harry smiled and pressed a soft kiss to his clothed thigh , before moving closer to the cabinets . Louis cleaned the top of the cabinets quickly before telling Harry he was done , Harry slowly put Louis down on his feet and patted him bum .

Since the house wasn't furnished yet , except for a few things they took out of Louis' apartment , they just made sure the few furniture were clean before they started cleaning the floor . 

"When will the moving truck come to your place ?" Harry asked , Louis turned to face him , "They said three p.m , what time is it now ?"

Harry grabbed Niall's phone and looked down , "Half past noon . We could get something to eat before going to your apartment ."

Louis nodded , "Are the two idiots joining us ?"

Harry laughed and pushed his hair up from his forehead , "Yes , they will . Why ?"

"Nothing . Nevermind ." Louis shook his head with a smile and turned away , grinning wider when Harry grabbed his waist and pulled him back , "No , tell me , I want to know ." He turned Louis to face him , his hands gripping his waist to make sure he wouldn't get away .

"I - I just wanted to have lunch out with you and sit on your lap , s'all ." Louis blushed as he voiced his thoughts , "Just don't want to make them uncomfortable with the PDA ."

Harry cooed and pressed kisses around his face , "Aw , you're such a baby . You can always sit on my lap ."

"Yeah , but still ." Louis pulled away from the kisses to pout up at him , Harry grumbled and shook his head , "You know that now that I know that , I won't let you sit anywhere else , right ?"

Louis smiled with blush on his cheeks , pushing Harry away , "Yeah , yeah ."

"You're all too kind ." Louis pouted when he saw Zayn , Liam , Gared and Mitch waiting in front of his apartment complex to help with taking furniture out of his apartment .

Zayn smiled and brought Louis into a hug , "Don't be silly , it's nothing ." He reassured and kissed his cheek , Louis smiled and squeezed his arms around him before moving to hug the rest .

After having lunch out with Zayn and Adam (and countless times of Harry trying to pull Louis into his lap , though getting jabbed in his ribs every time) , Niall and Adam had to leave , though promised to help clear out Harry's house next time .

Louis saw the moving truck parking in front of the complex and walked over with Harry right behind him . They greeted the three men and walked with them up to his apartment , unlocking the door .

"There isn't too much stuff , so it shouldn't take long to clear it out ." Louis said and watched everyone walking in , quickly pairing up to start carrying things out . He stood there for a minute , watching as his things were handled carefully , before grabbing a light box to carry it out .

It took about two hours to carry everything out and into the truck , and everyone loaded back into their cars to drive to the new house .

Harry turned to smile at Louis , who was sitting in the passenger's seat , "Can you believe that next week we'll be completely moved into our new house together ?"

Louis smiled at him and grabbed his hand , "I'm really excited . I mean , we're already sleeping together in the same house same bed every night for the past few months , but there's a difference when there's one home instead of two ."

Harry squeezed his hand , "What hours are you working tomorrow ?"

"Same as every day ." Louis said , "What were you planning ?"

"I was hoping you'd be up for Christmas shopping ." Harry said , "There's still some things we need to buy , and a whole bunch of presents to wrap ."

"Yeah , sure . Are we going back to the shopping centre ?" 

"Yeah , but only the stores we didn't go into . Then we'll go a bit around town , remember we wanted to go to the Disney store ?"

"Yeah , fuck , good thing you remembered . It's the perfect store for Doris and Ernie ."

They reached the new house ten minutes later , everyone helped bringing the furniture and boxes into the house as Louis guided them around , what goes into which room and what spots . They unboxed some of the kitchen tools and organized the rooms , Louis wrote down the cheque for the moving truck and thanked them .

"Thank you guys so so much for helping ." Louis wrapped Liam up in a hug , Liam squeezed him , "It's really no problem at all , Lou ." They pulled back , Louis moved to Zayn and kissed his cheek , Zayn pulled him closer , "That's what friends are for ."

"What's for dinner ?" Louis walked into the kitchen , Harry turned to smile at him then turned back to the stove , "Grilled chicken and mash ."

"Oooh ." Louis smiled back and hugged Harry from behind , cheek squished into the middle of his back , "It'll be a miracle if I don't fall asleep mid-eating ."

"Such a baby ." Harry chuckled quietly , Louis scrunched his nose , "Look who's talking , the guy who whines for people to play with his hair until he falls asleep ."

Harry laughed and put his fork down , turning around in Louis' arms to face him . "And you force me to scratch your back ." He put his hands on Louis' lower back .

"Because you can't resist me ." Louis smiled sweetly , Harry booped their noses together , "Maybe I can , but don't show it ."

"Oi ." Louis dug his fingers into his ribs under his arms , "Take it back ."

Harry chuckled and shook his head , "When will you learn that tickles wouldn't work in your favor ?"

"I know you have a spot , Gemma told me ." Louis kept digging his fingers around , Harry raised his eyebrow , "Did she ?"

"Yep , now come on , I know it's here ." Louis insisted , Harry shook his head , "You're not getting anywhere , baby , you're only getting into deeper trouble ." He said and turned back to the stove to turn the burner off .

Louis pouted , "But - but - she told me you have a spot under your arms that you're ticklish at ."

Harry smiled at him over his shoulder before turning back to the mash , "Well she thought she knew , and only got the two of you into trouble ."

"If you touch me I'll bite your arm off ." Louis threatened , even though both he and Harry knew it was no use .

Once Harry finished making the mash and turned the oven off he went to the living room , where Louis was sitting on the couch with his phone in his hands . "Lou , come eat ."

Louis looked up and smiled , he put his phone down and followed Harry to the dining table , giggling quietly when Harry grabbed his waist and pulled him closer , sitting down on the chair with Louis on his lap .

"You're silly ." Louis smiled and took his fork , Harry kept his arm around his waist , "Well , you're the one who voiced it to me first ."

After dinner they put a random movie on and cuddled on the couch , even though both of them knew Louis would be asleep in ten minutes max .

Louis leaned his head on Harry's shoulder , his eyelids feeling heavy as he tried keeping his eyes open to watch the movie . Harry turned his head a bit and smiled when he saw him fighting sleep , kissing the top of his head , "Want to head to bed , love ?"

"Yeah ." Louis sighed and lifted his head off his shoulder , Harry turned the TV off and in a swift move he picked Louis up bridal style , causing him to whine quietly but still cuddle into his chest . "Hate when you pick me up with no heads up ."

"You love it ." Harry smiled and walked into the bedroom , he put Louis down on his feet , "Let's go brush our teeth quickly ."

Louis let Harry pull him along , they brushed their teeth and walked back to bed . Louis sat down with a pout , Harry smiled and cupped his cheeks , "Why are you pouting ?"

"Because I'm tired , but I'm thirsty , but I'm really sleepy , but I'm also really thirsty , and I don't know if I should go get a bottle or just get right into bed , and while I'm thinking about what to do I could just go get a bottle and I'm literally wasting time ."

Harry laughed and kissed his forehead , "You ramble quite a lot when you're sleepy . Get in bed , I'll get you a bottle . Bottle before bed , like the baby you are ." He kissed his forehead , Louis closed his eyes , "If I weren't so sleepy I would smack you , so consider yourself lucky ."

"Noted ." Harry chuckled and walked out of the room . When he returned Louis was under the covers leaning against the headboard , eyes closed . Harry walked over to the bed and put the bottle on the nightstand , Louis opened his eyes when he heard him stepping closer .

"Thanks Haribo ." Louis smiled and reached for the bottle , Harry smiled and made sure he drank properly before helping him screw the lid back on . 

"Scoot over ." Harry lifted the covers , Louis shifted to make space for Harry , smiling when Harry snuggled closer to him , arms around his waist .

Sorry for the late and somewhat uninteresting update . Had a bit of a rough two weeks . If you haven't heard about it yet , there's a note at the end of my other fic (open up to me - chapter 37) .
