Prologue
Gin Ichimaru entered a white room and stood in the center of it. As he cleared his throat, a board with ' Soul Society's Construction Squad ' written on it appeared behind him.
Gin looked up from his script and smirked at the camera.
" Hello, folks! " he greeted the audience. " I was summoned here today - forcefully summoned here by Madara to start this weird prologue. Let's start then.
" Mukashi, mukashi- "
" PU- PU! " came a scream from outside.
Madara kicked the shoji doors down, busted into the room, grabbed Gin by his shoulders and shook him furiously.
" Wrong! You've got it all wrong, Captain Ichimaru!"
Madara let go of Gin. " Sorry... "
" ...... " Gin kept quiet while he dusted his robes. Things were still awkward between Madara and himself. The silver-head frowned.
" ...Anyway, " came Madara's voice, " Err... you got it wrong, Ichimaru-san. It's supposed to be read in English not like you did earlier. "
" There's no translation though. " Gin remarked, searching through his papers.
" That's the hitch. You gotta translate it... mentally. "
".... "
Gin sighed. " ...Alright then. Out ya go, kid. " he pushed Madara out the room and somehow repaired the shoji doors.
He cleared his throat one last time then finally started.
" Long, long ago, a strange way of travelling had been discovered by humans : Portals.
The Portals allowed not only humans but also many races to travel through different universe via their use. There existed a universe where Titans ate humans, another where the majority of the population became ninjas, one where demons reigned at night, one where lived strange creatures called Pokemon and the list continues on and on, never ending, always expanding...
Even the souls of the dead could travel- though unconsciously via the Portals towards an unknown destination. But most ( regardless of the universe they originated from ) end up at the Soul Society, in the place called Rukongai.
However, the Portals also had their downside. Much to the contrary of one might think, the Portals do not opperate at one's wish or will.
1)The Portals appear randomly at any place around any universe at any time.
2) A portal does not necessarily bring you to a specific location. Thus often forcing the traveller through a number of other universes against their will before reaching the said destination.
Fortunately, some researchers have discovered a way to pinpoint the time and location of the apparition of a Portal. The method is kept secret for obvious reasons; only disclosed to a group of select individual. "
" That's all I can tell for now, folks. Until the next update. Bye! " Gin exclaimed at the camera. The lights went off, wrapping the silver-head in darkness.

Uzu Ryuugamine's eyes flung open. He gasped as he acknowledge the presence of a man with mesmerising golden eyes close to him. The man closed in on him. His lips were only a heartbeat away from crashing on Ryuugamine's when time suddenly froze.
Ryuugamine took a step back and quickly regained his balance. His surroundings as well as the other shinigami were drained from their colours. The darker tones replaced by a dried coffee- brown and the lighter tones by white.
The scene started spinning rapidly, till it became blurry. When it finally stopped, Ryuugamine found himself facing other people in the middle of battle.
In this one it was night time. Captain Hitsugaya had unleashed his Bankai. Blood poured from several wounds on his body; the most severe being on his thigh and his torso. The albino was panting heavily yet his bruised hands tightened their grip around his zanpakuto and he readied himself for another attack.
' That's captain Hitsugaya for you. Never giving up. ' Ryuugamine thought.
In the same scene, he saw Captain Soi-Fon shouting orders at her underlings while Komamura blocked a downward slash from his opponent. Kyoraku zoomed past Ryuugamine closely followed by Ukitake. Captain Zaraki for his part, well, was enjoying himself with some ' expert butchering. '
Once again, everything froze. Darkness swallowed the captains and their enemies at one go and seconds later, a torrent of colours poured itself into the blackness as yet another decor revealed itself.
Ryuugamine was growing tired of those tricky scenes but deep inside him something ominous stirred, preventing the black-haired shinigami from walking away.
A third scene made its way towards Ryuugamine.
' Tch. Is there really no end to these? ' the shinigami thought irritably. ' It's getting very boring. '
An image of Las Noches briefly flashed before Ryuugamine making him raise an eyebrow questioningly.
" Uzu. " he heard a faint, male voice call from behind. Startled by the familiarity of that voice, Ryuugamine whirled around to meet his zanpakuto's cyan blue eyes.
The black- haired man's eyes widened in horror as they took in the sight of Aoi, his zanpakuto pinned to the wall by daggers stabbed into both of her arms. Crimson tears flowed from her eyes and Ryuugamine realised that it was blood.
Before he could react, Aoi's face cracked and her whole body broke like glass. She fell, dragging her master to a forest of wisteria trees where the shinigami witnessed himself laying in a pool of his own blood, eyes glazed over and breathing with much difficulty.

Ryuugamine's eyes flung open. He gasped for air and quickly sat up. He was drenched in cold sweat, then remembered Aoi.
He stumbled down his bed, frantically searching through the mess that he called a room. When he finally found his zanpakuto, Ryuugamine examined it thoroughly and heaved a sigh of relief.
" What the hell was that...? " he muttered. " A nightmare...? "
