Her phone flashed.... the fairy tale part of her life..!!! her Mohul...!!!

Fairy tale, yet non-dramatic...!!!!  Well... their fathers were best friends, so were their mothers... but these two kids neither shared any friendship...!!! na na... nor even enmity...!!! they kinda shared pretty formal relation.. reasons yet unknown... may be.. Mohul was somewhat 6 years elder to her... and was her elder brother Tamal's buddy...!!! yes... the age difference between her and her brother was almost 6 years which made her all the more pampered, loved baby sister to Tamal!!!

In all these years Taira was just Mohul's best friend's sister... and so were their conversation... "Tiyu.. is Tamu at home...???" "Tiyu. Ma made both of your favourite snacks, before going to tuition come at our place.." "Tiyu.. say Tamu this.. say that...".. this was all that Mohul has conversed with her in all those years.. yes.. they did have personal conversations too... like.. 'happy birthday'.. 'happy new year..'.. but they never exchanged a single word more than this...!!

But things changed on a certain March evening... Taira was busy revising the mechanism of n-p-n transistors, when her mom's mobile phone rang...!!! and she gave a shriek... Taira ran downstairs... only to be informed her dear brother had met an accident..!!!

Next moment, the mother and daughter had found themselves in the hospital... her dad was already present.. so was the Chaterjee family, to be precise Mohul's family.. after all, Tamal was no less to them than their Mohul..!!! but Taira's eyes widened to see those uniformed men..!!! Police..!!! it was a hit and run case..!! and the police had come to take Tamal's statement.

There was Tamal!! With a fractured leg..a fractured arm..bandaged head...!!! but by god's grace.. he was already back to his senses. He had somehow managed to sit.. when his baby sister rushed into his arms.. and broke down..!!!

"no.. I ain't going..." screamed Taira at her parents, right in the hospital. "Tiyu.. behave.." her mom warned..!!! "Tiyu... be it other exams we would have let you.. but its your board exams..!!! hell.. boards.." her dad tried convincing her. But she was too stubborn... she was about to argue more.. when Tamal asked her inside his ward.. and after a good thirty minutes Taira came out frowning with a smiling Mohul..!!! soon Mohul dragged her to the parking, and left with her..

That evening.. Mohul personally cooked her dinner. Fed her, while she was busy with her 11th hour preparations... finally, it was 3 a.m. in the morning, when Mohul peeped in her room. Yes..!!! this was no film that he would stay in her room... he had settled in Tamal's room for the night. The view in front of him made him smile..!!! Taira was sleeping soundly on her books, lying on her stomach.. he hesitatingly stepped inside. Slowly pulled the book from beneath her. Removed her specks.. and adjusted her sheet... and the room temp.. finally was about to leave.. when he felt a hold on his wrists..!! he  heard a sleepy 'dadabhai..'.. his smile faded, he jerked off his hand..!! Taira jolted seeing Mohul... "sorry.. I thought dadabhai..." a tear rolled down her cheek..!!! "tiyu..." Mohul sat beside her.. wiping her tears.. "Tamu will be fine.." he consoled her. "but you guys have exams form May end... its your MBA final semester..!! how will he recover.." she shook her head.. "I will help him... with all my might... you sleep now.. you have your physics exam tomorrow..." he reassured... "good night...." he hushed... "Thank you.." she smiled... he smiled back ruffling her hairs!!!  That was first informal smile they had exchanged in these 18 years..!!!

And that smile was it..!!! their fairy tale started..!!! a beautiful fairy tale...where Mohul had been her friend, her teacher, her guardian, her consultant,  her armor... and obviously her soul mate!!!

Both the families wanted to tie their knot and come into relationship as soon as Taira completed her engineering..!!! Even Taira was ready... for they were into 4 years of relationship by then.. Mohul had settled well, working in a PSU.. their stable relationship boosted up their love, concern, understanding... but Mohul had stepped back... though he was 28 by then... but his baby girlfriend was just 22 and had just passed college..!!! how could he snatch her dreams.. her life at such a tender age..!!! he wanted her to explore life.. to lead a life on her own conditions at least for a few more years..... and thus they were unmarried yet.!!!!

"hello..." Taira gulped her tears as the phone vibrated the fifth time... she tried best to sound normal... but... it's said na... you can never hide things from the ones who really love you..!!! this sweet matured couple was not an exception..!!! Mahul caught her..!!! and she finally oozed out... obviously... she had veiled the actual reason and Jaanki's night stand...!!! how could she discuss about her private life to him!!! Question of dignity..!!! But Mohul somehow guessed.. if not exactly.. but yet... near to it.. had to be..!! he had seen life more than these two girls...

"tiyu... go to your office guest house... don't panic I will chalk out something.." Mohul ordered over the phone... he knew, how his princess was struggling.. and perhaps her mind had stopped working too.. and just as obedient kid... Taira left for her office guest house..!!!

Keeping her luggage... she sat on the bed... her hair messed.. stomach growling... for the meal she had was last night... she was petrified.. over the thought that how this last few hours changed her life.. her thinking.. her judgements..!!! it was just 5 in the morning... when she was dancing happily to meet Jaanki.. to share her achievement...yes tour was a successful one...!!! and now it was just 11 in the day time... when she has been thrown out, by the same person..!!!! her eyes were brimming with tears... her vision almost blurred.. when her phone beeped... she wiped her tears.. and checked it... a fresh set of tears bounced out..!!! "Mohul.." she squealed...

Mohul!!! Mohul had transferred twenty thousand bucks into her account...!!! Taira kept looking at the phone... dumbfound... what to do.. when her phone buzzed..!!! "Tiyu... you got the money..??? Okay... listen to me carefully...".Mohul chirped over the phone... "Take me from here Mohul..." Taira could not hold her tears any more... "shh... don't panic.. I am right with you.." Mohul was about to say more....when the call got disconnected...!! Taira never knew, she would be this weak.. but unfortunately... today's incident made a great impact on her...!!! she didn't feel like eating anything... though she was hell tired... and hungry...!! exhaustion took over her.. and she slept...

She woke up with the sharp knock on the door..!!! somehow put on her specks... buttoned her shirt... and opened the door... her eyes widened...

"Jaan..." "Tiyu... I am sorry..." she leapt into her arms... "Am sorry.. forgive me baby.. I didn't mean a word I said. Shit.. I fought with you for that guy.. I am such an idiot..!!" Jaanki sobbed... "You know.. after you left.. I slapped him.. twice.. please forgive me...." she continued her sobs... Taira was too in tears... but she composed herself...

"how did you know I'm here...???" she asked... "I called her.." came his voice... Taira's eyes popped out hearing his voice...!!! "sorry baby... couldn't come earlier... Kolkata-Mumbai distance you know... fewer flights today.." he chipped pushing her locks... "Mohul...." was the only word she could utter... next moment she was in his arms locked... safely and firmly.....!!!

"I am sorry Taira..." Anant stated for the tenth time.. but she didn't pay any heed to it... Jaanki  felt miserable... she kept cursing herself... for the blunder she had created... she had thrown out her best friend.. her sister for this jerk.. but this time... she spoke... "Anant... thanks that you uttered those words... and now I know.. exactly how you are... so... leave... and yes.. we are over..!!!!" Taira and Mohul, who were busy feeling each other's love.. turned with a jolt.. "jaan... no... don't be so impulsive..." Taira spoke... "see... whom were you conspiring against...!!!" Jaanki raged... Anant hung his head low...

A few more words.. and Anant left the place. Promising never to face them again... Jaanki broke down into tears... Taira engulfed her into a bear hug.. and consoled... "I am sorry..." Chipped Jaan... "I know.. all my excuses will be lame... phir bhi yr...".. "I am sorry too... for being so repulsive then.." Taira again hugged her...

Back to normal... both the girls were smiling... Mohul finally breathed seeing his baby happy, twinkling...!!! "let's head back home." gulped Jaan.. once again... feeling terrible... but before Taira could speak... Mohul blurted... "Na... no more of this flat... I am here for three days... and I will find you girls a "working women's hostel"... you girls are yet too young and immature..."  The girls nodded in unision...!!!!
