Chapter 3
Mei'spov.
Its been almost two months since I was in Konoha, and its been so quiet. Orochimaru and Kabuto had gone back to the village to do whatever it is they were doing, before coming back to the hideout. Apparently not long after they came back, a little boy followed, coming to Orochimaru for 'training'.
When the man told me that, I started laughing. Of course Kabuto looked at me like I was crazy, but I didn't care. Orochimaru had just watched with amusement very clear in his eyes. He knew that I knew what was really going to happen.
That was an interesting day to say the least.
Hell, I haven't even met the kid yet. I really want to, too.
"What are your thinking about, my dear?" Orochimaru's voice broke through my thoughts and grabbed my attention. "You've been unusually quiet today." I glanced back at the man with slightly bored eyes, watching as my hair slipped through his fingers, only to be picked up again.
"I want to meet the lost little kitten you've managed to pick up." I sighed, picking up a stand of my hair and twirling it around my fingers. "Surely he knows what's going to happen?" Orochimaru chuckled behind me, making me raise an eyebrow.
"I'm starting his training today. You can come with if you like." His hand fisted into the long strands, and he pulled me back, hard enough that it hurt. I leaned back onto my hands and looked up at the man. My lips were slightly parted, and he noticed, before his right hand lifted, his fingers traveling down the column of my throat. "But, only if you can behave."
My eyes narrowed as the corner of my lips tugged into a smirk. "I might be able to," the simple words, and the sight of my expression must have been a bit much because next thing I know, he's looking away, a very small dust of pink tinting his pale skin. His hands had dropped, and one was covering his mouth. I pushed myself up to me feet and giggled. "Something wrong, Orochimaru?"
The man narrowed his eyes and shook his head with a sigh. He pushed himself into a standing, eyes narrowed on me the entire time. "Even after everything, your still such a tease." He muttered, hand cupping my cheek. I frowned and turned away, rolling my eyes in the process.
"And your still as straight laced as ever," I retorted. Orochimaru's eyebrows furrowed together as he sighed.
"And in need of an attitude adjustment." He muttered under his breath. I probably wasn't supposed to hear that lieelt comment, but I did and raised an eyebrow. He froze for a split second, waiting for my reply, but when I didn't, he shook his head.
"Hurry up," I pulled my hair into a bun and adjusted my hat over it, then followed the man to the door.
A few moments later, we were standing in the center of a high cliff, in front of Kabuto - who made sure to glare at me - and a dark haired boy that looked like a miniature Itachi. He was adorable, and I had to stop myself from squishing his cuteness to death, just like I did - still do - to Itachi when we first met - meet -.
I don't know why, but I have a thing for Uchiha's. They're extremely adorable, especially when they smile.
"Oh please, Kami-sama, help me now," I muttered to myself as I looked directly into the kids onyx eyes. The more I stared into the curious, yet empty eyes, the more I itched to squish him.
"Who is she?" He looked away as he spoke.
That was it.
I suddenly appeared behind the little Uchiha and wrapped my arms around his neck, poking his cheek with my index finger. "Your so cute~" I giggled. His eyes widened and and started struggling, but my grip was strong.
"Oi, get off!" He yelled.
"No," I stated simply. "You smell yummy." His eyes seemed to widen even more than they were and his struggles became more frequent.
"Mei-sama, please get off of Sasuke." Kabuto said sweetly.
"But I don't want to Kabuto~." I smirked, trailing my finger down the little ravens cheek. "Orochimaru, I'll be taking over part of his training." The man only nodded, while Kabuto's eye twitched, that cute pink dusting his cheeks. "I want to play with him," I whispered lowly in the little Uchiha's ear, making him freeze. "Such a cute little Uchiha."
"Who the hell is this annoying girl?!" Sasuke demanded, finally giving up on trying to escape as I cuddled him from behind.
"That "annoying girl", as you so nicely put it, is Orochimaru-sama's sensei." Kabuto answered.
"You should really be more respectful to such a powerful woman, especially the one who is taking over part of your training," Orochimaru grinned as he added. "Be careful, she has quite the attitude."
I noticed the Uchiha send me a small curious glance and I poked his cheek. "Better be nice, little Sasu-chan." I smiled and stood, letting the boy go. He turned and gave me a once over. "I won't hesitate to punish bad little boys." A visible shiver slid through him and I giggled.
"I thought you were going to be good, Mei." The scold got waved away and I placed my hands on my hips.
"I said 'try'," My lips tugged into a smirk.
Orochimaru sighed and turned his attention to Sasuke as the boy backed away from me so there was a good few feet between us. "Mei will be taking over part of your training, that means, that she is in charge. I may even send the both of you on missions together." I raised an eyebrow at that but said nohing. "I think you would make quite the team."
I chuckled, "Like you and Jiraiya did?" I recieved a glare for that one, but I brushed it off, acting completely oblivious, brushing it off. "Ne, Orochimaru, what are you doing for training today?"
I pursed my lips, making the man shiver, only visible enough for my eyes. The fact that I could still produce such a reaction from the sannin, delights me to no end. The man tried to clear his throat without little Sasuke notice, but the boy raised an eyebrow.
"I was going to send you on a mission together."
"What kind of mission?" Sasuke asked, glancing at me for a split second.
"That sounds like fun!" I wrapped my arms around the little raven haired boy from behind. "We're going to have some fun, ne, Sasu-chan?"
I don't own Naruto.
