32- Reunited

Bill POV
Over the span of a week, we adventure over one hundred different dimensions.

Pinetree is the happiest I've ever seen him. The anorexia slowly cleared up, he hasn't had a sip of alcohol, I've been watching over his dreams to eliminate any nightmares and his overall anxiety has decreased slightly. Though I don't think the anxiety will ever go away, it's just who he is.

When I get called to make a deal with someone, Pinetree will tag along to watch the whole thing. Sometimes he even warns me if the deal doesn't seem fair or seems dangerous, it really helps. Sometimes my clients can be really emotional at times, depending on the deal, and Pinetree just steps in and calms them down. I guess all those years of being human payed off, he understands humans when I don't. We're like the perfect duo.

Now, we are sitting on the couch in our mansion. Pinetree is cuddled up in my lap, reading a book from his personal library we added to the house. I'm watching the new episode of The Bachelor on the television and eating a granola bar.

"Why are you obsessed with reality T.V?" He mumbles, looking up from his book. He stares at the tv with a bored expression.

"It's research, I need to analyze how humans interact." I say in a matter-of-factly tone.

"You just like drama." Pinetree laughs.

"You're such a basic white bitch." I roll my eyes and take the book out of his hands, saving his page with my thumb.

"It's better than some of those animes you watch. What are you reading anyway?" I ask, holding it out of his reach while he struggles for it.

"You liked Tokyo Ghoul! The book is called Lord of the Rings." he sighs, giving up the fight "it's about a ring and some hobbits in middle earth."

I hum in response, not having a clue what he just said, as I skim through the book and read the occasional sentence.

"Gloria is about to get sent home." Pinetree says after a little while.

"What!" My head shoots up from the book, eyes wide. He snatches the book back while I'm distracted.

"Yeah, research." Pinetree giggles.

Just then a notification buzzes my phone. I pull out my phone and quickly read the text I received.

"It's from your Gruncle Stan." I say simply, not looking up from the phone.

"What?" He exclaims, his head shooting up from the book.

"Yeah, I gave him my number and he gave me his. So we can get in touch." I look over to see that his eyes are narrow, he's mad about something... "What!"

"And you were going to tell me this when, exactly?" He raises an eyebrow at me.

"Ummmm..." Is all I can say, not being able to look him in the eyes.

"He's the only family I have left, and you forgot to tell me that I can talk to him whenever I want?!"

"Ummm..."

He snatches the phone away from me and reads the text. Then he unlocks my phone and texts back.

"How do you know my password...?" I laugh awkwardly.

"Really Bill? 'Dipper's Ass' isn't obvious enough?" He chuckles back, sending his text. "Okay, we're gonna meet for coffee in a few hours."

"We are?" I say surprised.

"Yup." He gets up and walks to our bedroom, with me following.

Once we're in the bathroom he grabs some towels and finds some clothes to change into. I watch him as he bustles around the room. After a while he stops and looks up at me with his 'thinking face'.

"What?" I laugh. He just sighs and hands me a towel.

"Let's go have a shower." He says bluntly. My eyes go wide as I realize what he's saying.

"L-like th-the both-th o-of us?" I stutter out.

"Yeah, why not. We're both in fifteen year old bodies, and we're boyfriends. We'll see each other eventually." He explains simply "unless you're uncomfortable... We don't have to if you don't want to."

"No it's just..." I sigh, not being able to say what I'm thinking.

"What?" He pushes, forcing me to say it.

"I'm gonna get really turned on, I know it." I mumble, just loud enough for him to hear. I can feel my cheeks heating up.

"Oh Bill." He laughs and hugs me. "That's okay, I'll probably do the same."

"Does this mean we can..." I hesitate, my cheeks turning even more red "do other stuff soon."

"Maybe we'll wait on that, let's take things slow." He laughs, pulling me into the on suite bathroom.

***tiny timeskeeeep***

The shower wasn't too eventful. I squeezed his butt a few times and he giggled, we washed off and wrapped towels around ourselves.

"You know," I say while looking through my side of the closet for some clothes, "it's actually kind of fun to do things manually, not just using my powers all the time."

"I mean, it saves energy." Pinetree laughs as he styles his hair into wavy bangs. "By the way, I was thinking we should wear casual clothes to this thing. We probably want to try and blend in." I nod as I pull out some white jeans and a yellow sweater.
I turn around to see that Pinetree has put on some black skinny jeans with zippers on the legs and a My Chemical Romance t-shirt. This shows off the ink like markings on his arms, making it known that he is not human to all other demons. I wish my markings were more visible like his.

"Ready to go?" He asks, pulling me out of my trance.

"Yup."

Dipper POV

We teleport to the human dimension, behind Lazy Susan's dinner. Sneakily making our way to the front and entering through the door. Upon entering, I see Grincle Stan sitting alone at a table. He looks up and smiles as he sees us. I walk quickly over to him and he stands, giving me a big hug. He ruffles my hair a bit and turns to greet Bill.

Bill puts his hand out to shake Stan's, but Stan just grabs the hand and pulls him into a hug, patting him on the back. Bill's eyes grow wide at the surprise and we all laugh.

"So, how have you two been?" Gruncle Stan says as he sits back down. We sit down across from him.

"Good, how about you?" I say smiling.

"I'm glad your happy. Things at home have been kind of rough." He answers glumly, wiping away my smile, "Mabel doesn't talk to anyone but her friends, and Ford is back to hating me." I look down, not knowing what to do.

I feel so bad for him, he helped us and now his life is crappy. "There's only a few days left of summer, but after everything your parents decided to let Mabel stay in Gravity Falls. She'll go to school here." I feel Bill take a quick breath suddenly.

"Wait, doesn't that mean it's almost your birthday!" He looks over to me, shocked. I nod slowly as he gets a little frantic.

"Oh no I totally forgot, I have to get you the best present ever." I laugh at him and a smile spreads on Stan's face again.

"No, you don't." I chuckle "I don't really celebrate my birthday..." Bill gasps at this, Gruncle Stan nods.

"Yeah the kid never really enjoyed it. Mabel always made a big deal out of hers so Dipper just let her have the birthdays." Stan explains, leaving Bill in shock again.

"You mean... You've never had a birthday party?"

"I was at Mabel's, I don't really like parties that much anyways."

"Or a birthday cake?"

"I always got a slice of Mabel's"

"What about a present?"

"Usually just a card from my parents."

"Pinetree!" He sighs loudly "that's it, I'm gonna make sure you have the best birthday ever!" We all laugh at his confidence.

"If you want to that bad, go ahead."

After everything settles down, I offer to go get the coffees. Leaving Bill and Stan alone to talk. When I get back, I'm glad to see them smiling.

"Alright, here it is." I say, setting down the tray. "Stan, your's as black as my soul. And Bill, your's with an unreasonable amount of sugar." They thank me and I sit back down with my own coffee, one sugar and two cream.

"I gotta say Dipper, you really got a good one here." Gruncle Stan remarks, gesturing to Bill.

"Aw, Mr.Pines!" Bill chuckles lightly.

"You can just call me your old Gruncle Stan." Stan smiles warmly at us both.

"Thanks Gruncle Stan." I say, leaning against Bill.

"No problem kid." After a moment of silence, Stan speaks again. "I have stuff you left at the shack in my car, thought you would want it." I nod, turning to Bill.

"Already done." He says, snapping is fingers.

"Thanks Hun." I say smiling.

Just then, my phone begins to ring. I excuse myself from the table and answer the call once I'm outside.

"Hello?"

"Demitri Love?" A deep and raspy voice bellows back.

"Yes?" I always forget that that's my real name! I just never hear it.

"We need to meet with you and Bill Cipher, now."

"Um, y-yeah okay." I stutter out "I'll be there right away." The other line cuts out first, then I hang up. As I'm about to enter the dinner again, Bill and Stan walk out.

"What's that about?" Bill asks nervously.

"That was the demon counsel, I think." Bill looks worried, and Stan just seems confused.

"What did they want?"

"Didn't say, all they said was they need to see us now."

"Can someone please explain what's going on!" Stan cuts in.

"The demon counsel are basically the people in charge." I quickly explain.

"We better go then." Bill says, preparing to make a portal.

"Wait," I stop him, "shouldn't we be in full demon form?"

He nods and we both transform, him with a quick flash after snapping his fingers, and me with a wave of flames spiralling around me. Bill looks the same, but in his formal attire. I, however, have sprouted my wings and extracted my claws, along with changing into my new demon clothes.

Stan seems overwhelmed with shock and I hug him quickly.

"I'll see you later Gruncle Stan!"

"Yeah, maybe you can come to our house for coffee next time." Bill laughs as he forms a portal. Stan just waves wearily as we jump through to another dimension.
