Cinda couldn't believe her life right now. She was not only dating her bestie, but she was also engaged to him. Folk said they were crazy and too young to make such a commitment to each other. However, they didn't care because they were in love.
Ty had a good football season, and his father turned to be a good football coach. But that was no shock to Ty. His dad had always been a wonderful coach to him. Ty just had to adjust to sharing him with the whole team. His dad didn't show Ty any favoritism. Coach Davis viewed each player on the football team like family. They had won every game in the season thus far.
The school year was almost over, and the team that they were playing are undefeated as well.
Ty has been practicing really hard, and Cinda has barely seen him. Well, she had seen him but not like she has grown accustomed to.

As Ty was getting ready to go to sleep, his cellphone alerted him of a text message.

Lucinda: Hi baby, I hope you had a great day, baby; Good night my love."
He read Cinda's text and texted her back
Ty: Hey baby, I was just about to call it a night. Wait! I saw you today; why are you acting like you didn't see me or we didn't talk?"
She texted back.
Lucinda: Baby, I know we talked a little, but I just miss you all the time. We barely hang out."

Next thing you know, there was a tap at Cinda's window. It didn't take a rocket scientist to know who it was.

" Hey, baby, you didn't have to come over. It's late." She stated as she moved to the side.

" I know that, but I missed you too, and I thought you were asleep."

They hugged and kissed like they haven't seen each other in years.

" Cinda, I'm tired, and I don't want to be alone. Can I crash here tonight?"

Cinda's eyes got big, and she was caught off guard. She loved Ty, and they have had some heated make-out sessions, but they had never gone past first base, not even close. She wasn't ready for anything like that. He often told her that he respected her and he wouldn't do anything to put her in a compromising position.

He saw the confused look on his face, and he held up both his hands and said," Baby, I just want to be near you. I want to sleep; I'm not ready for anything else."

She looked at him and was satisfied with what he just said.
" Yes, baby, you can stay. Do you want to sleep on the bed with me? I have a full-size air mattress in the closet?"

" Get the air mattress out, but I would like to hold you a little before I go to sleep on the air mattress."

" Ok, that's fine." She got the air mattress out of the closet as well as the air pump. Next, she went to get an extra blanket and pillow.
They laid on the bed all snuggled up, and they both passed out fully clothed in each other's arms. Ty never made it to the air mattress.
Cinda woke up and thought she was dreaming until she realized Ty still had his arms wrapped around her. She shifted, and he woke up.

" Good morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?"

" I slept like a baby, and I didn't have a care in the world."

He smiled at her and said, " Same here, but I was beat. I'm sorry for having you get out that air mattress. I was planning on sleeping on it; I guess I didn't realize how tired I was."

Cinda started to feel self-conscious; she had a scarf on her head, not to mention a dirty face and morning breath.

So she tried to turn her face away, and he gently held her face so she couldn't move and said,
" You don't have to feel shy or weird; you are beautiful baby. Is your breath a little funky?
Yes, but I love you anyway. Mines is too.
Do you have an extra toothbrush?"

She nodded her yes. As she started to get up, he stopped her and planted a quick kiss on her lips.
She was shocked that he did it.

" Cinda, you are not just my girl; you are my fiancé. You are practically my
wife."

"Are you sure you're sixteen? You act like such an old man." She stated with a smirk.

" But you love this "old "man, though."

" You do have a point."

And with those words, she kissed him back and got up to get him a small face towel and an extra toothbrush.
They both brushed their teeth and washed
their face, and Ty left shortly after that.
