A massive burst of energy came from the skin bag, shaking the academy like an earthquake.

Stein: Wha?! This madness...this can mean only one thing...

Fen: That amount of Soul Power, they did it... The Kishin has been revived!!!

Spirit: N-No way, they failed?!

Fen: Hee-Heh-Hah!! I won! The Kishin has been set free, all that's left is to collect his soul! You might as well accept your defeat, because I have no intentions of sparing your li-!

The Oozai felt a sharp pain from his right side, then his vision 'cut' in two slanted halves. It was when he reached the ground when Fen realized what had happened. He could see his body standing there, with part of his own head and right upper half missing, spewing his Black Blood like a fountain, causing it to rain a storm of darkness. Then, his pink skin faded to a ashen gray, before the light in his eyes diminished into pure black.

Fen: M-My head's...too damaged. Can't...shed....

Spirit: I-I didn't even see him swing me... How did you do that, Stein?

Stein: ...Damn. Even though we still lose in the end, I feel so relieved right now!!

The mad doctor dropped the Death Scythe, and proceeded to light a cigarette, laughing to himself as the tiny, vector shaped drops of blood rained down upon the whole area.

Spirit: I can't believe it, this guy was more powerful than I ever imagined, he put most Witches to shame!

Stein: I know, but at least it's actually over now...

Spirit: Wait, something's happening to his body!

The lifeless body of Fen suddenly crumbled into dust, scattering off into nothingness.

Stein: That must be how Oozai pass on, at least we know he's really-

Fen: Dead. Right...?

Stein: Hu-AGH!!

A black spike burst through the shoulder of Stein, then a swift kick sent him to his knees. Shakingly looking up, the Meister was horrified at what he saw: The half-Oozai Fen still in his second form, completely healed, say for his right eye having no pupil.

Spirit: H...How?!

Fen: Vorkriind, the second forbidden spell in the history of the Oozai Realm. Using all of the remaining magic in one eye, a matured Oozai can cheat death, making their destruction become nothing more than an illusion.

Spirit: Cheat death...?

Fen: However, such magical output comes with a price. That price is the loss of the eye that casted Vorkriind, not even a pink Oozai can restore its vision. Funny thing is, I originally didn't have the magic required to use Vorkriind, it appears that the maddening energy currently bathing this place has absorbed into my body...

Stein: I-Impossible...

Spirit: Die!!

Death Scythe morphed his right arm into his blade to attack the Oozai, only for Fen to turn it on himself, grabbing the Weapon's arm and cutting Spirit's throat. Albarn coughed up blood and tried as hard as he could to hold his wound shut.

Fen: Now then, I'll be going to meet the Kishin now, Vonok~!

Sprouting large black wings, Fen rushed down the corridor with incredible speed. Thankfully for Stein, Fen had not punctured any of his arteries, and he made his way to Spirit, stitching his throat back together via his Soul Thread.

Spirit: Hah...hah, thank you!! I thought I was done for!

Stein: Don't mention it, too bad there's nothing else we can do now...

(Meanwhile, in the Kishin's Chamber)

The large bag shook with a violent energy, before a humanoid face, somewhere from within began pushing forward, slowly shrinking and sticking the skin back onto it's body.

Baku: It's here...

Finally, the bag had completely reattached itself to the tall, featureless humanoid. It pulled on its own elastic skin, frighteningly shaking and twitching without making any verbal sound whatsoever.

Eternal: Is that it? He doesn't look so tough to me!

Without any fear or hesitation, the immortal Demon walked over to the Kishin, looking down on the strange being. The Kishin himself looked back with his hollow eyes.

Kishin: ...

Eternal: OwX

Kishin: ...

Eternal: OwX

Kishin: ...

Eternal: OwX

Kishin: ...

Eternal: ....Boo.

Kishin: GYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Eternal: Ooh! Is this a screaming match?? Ok, watch me-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Baku: ...This is actually happening right now.

Kid: He...scared the Kishin?!

Kid looked over at Riivrax, who was uncontrollably trembling, sweating bullets as his eye flared a deep purple color.

Riivrax: This power...it's too much to even look at! I...I can't...

From sheer fright alone, the blue Oozai collapsed onto the floor.

Kid: Damn, I'm all that's left to stop him! I must defeat the Kishin while he's still hazy!

The Shinigami rushed for the Demon God, readying his pistols. The Kishin abruptly stopped screaming at Eternal, and began stretching the skin on his forarm, causing it to snap back like a rubber band and hitting Kid in the forehead.

As the Shinigami fell, the Kishin began stretching out portions of his skin around his body like cloth, and then around his head and neck like a scarf. And soon enough, he had made a basic outfit from his very own body, before suddenly yelling out,

Eternal: ...Does that mean I win??

Maka: You aren't going anywhere!!

Just as the newly awoken Kishin began making his escape, the Scythe Meister Maka rushed past the two Demons, jumping off the large statue and grabbing hold of the four "scarves" around his neck. However, her weight wasn't enough to slow the creature down, so she stabbed her Weapon deep into the stone tunnel the Kishin was currently making with his very aura itself.

Just as the girl was out of sight, both Riivrax and Kid regained consciousness. Upon seeing this, Baku and Eternal quickly made their escape via the cyclops sinking himself and his partner into the ground.

Riivrax: Wha...huh? Was that Maka that just went by? I felt a strong presence just now...

Kid: What is she thinking?? There's no way she can take on the-

Fen: Outta my way!!!

The winged Oozai knocked the two aside as he flew straight up the tunnel, shoving Maka off as soon as they reached the surface of the city. Evans returned to his Human form as the two were falling to the ground, catching her just before she made impact.

Soul: You okay??

Maka: Y-Yeah...but, was that...?

Soul: I guess so. Man, those guys tore the hell outta this place!

Many of the buildings were crushed, littered with the bodies of fallen Spider Oozai, and somewhere close by this scene, the fight between the Cat Monster Blair and the Witch Vordaas continued.

With a strong pitching motion, the cat-like Blair launched three magical explosives in the shape of large, brightly glowing jack-o-lanterns.

All three met their mark, engulfing Vordaas in a massive explosion. Large vectors emerged from the smoke, knocking Blair back on her tail as the serpentine demon radiated with a dark power.

Vordaas: You're a Monster Cat, right? I heard your magic is comparable to that of Witches. However, you still have nothing on me, Vordaas! And once the new Kishin is born, everyone will know true f-

From out of nowhere, Dr. Proton approached the Witch from behind and stabbed her in the neck with a dark, metallic bar, causing her to collapse instantly.

Proton: Thought I heard something over here, I thought everyone had evacuated already.

Blair: Eh? The heck are you?

Proton: A doctor. And that was a rod of concentrated magic I just used, she can't attack anyone once she wakes up. Hm? Oh, that doesn't look good.

The doctor saw the newly awoken Kishin rising from the ground, with Fen following shortly after. The pink Oozai fired a large Oozai Cannon in the Demon God's direction, finally getting his attention.

Kishin: You...who are you?

Fen: That wouldn't be as exciting as telling you what I'm going to be, but I'll be sure to leave a strong first impression! To make things simple, I'm the second Kishin!

Kishin: Kishin? So that's what they call me...

Fen: I've waited so long for this moment...so many years led up to here. I hope that you weren't planning on anything with your newfound freedom, because that power you have now belongs to me. Hope you understand~!

Kishin: Such a strange...thing, you are. You think you can take my power? Then show me!!

Fen: With pleasure!!!

The horned Spirit Guardian manifested itself around the young Oozai, knocking the Kishin to the ground with one of its massive arms. The Demon God hit the stone ground with a splat of Black Blood, laughing at how little it damaged him.

Kishin: Kaaah, kakakakaah!! I guess having your skin ripped off made me forget pain! Help me remember!!!

The scarves around his neck stretched right for the Oozai, who's Guardian blocked the strikes as if it were a force field. And with a booming clap of the ethereal construct, a large bolt of purple lightning struck the Kishin, somewhat burning his thick skin.

Kishin: This energy is so hot, but still nothing! And you're comparing yourself to me?!

Fen: Just as I thought, I can't fight him properly without both my eyes. Guess I'll have to let him go until I replace it, then I-

???:GEIN, ZIIN, SED, HIR!

Fen: What?!

The four voices that could be heard all over the city came from the main building itself, where this all began. Where the seal was, Nova, Eis, Pincher and Zacharie were undoing the seal Fen had put up. This sight made the young man's blood to run cold, just at the very idea of facing two opponents on such levels with a handicap.

Fen: Shit! Now I definitely have to retreat, I can only revive one more time, but then I would be no weaker than a normal Human! Damnit!!

Fen: Looks like we'll have to settle this fight some other day! But I'll know wherever you run off to, here's my parting gift!!

Without warning, Fen's neck elongated and stretched right for the Kishin like a cobra, sinking his fangs deep into his collarbone. As the Demon tried to unlock Fen's strong jaws, strange white markings formed all over his body, only to combine into a heart at the base of Kishin's neck. Finally, he ripped Fen off and flew off into the distant sky, towards the imposing moon, snickering whilst crimson blood leaked through its teeth.

Fen: With that mark, Kishin, I'll find you. No matter where you hide...

"Four Layer Seal: Unbind!!!"

Fen: Well DWMA, looks like you have some work to do as well. Let's have a race to see who catches him first, yeah? Well, good night DWMA~!

And with that, Fen too flew off into the night. This was just as the seal was removed, and the very first person to escape was Death himself. He didn't say a word at first, only looking up at the moon with that blank expression.

Nova: Whoo! Thought that thing would never open up!

Zacharie: We managed to defeat most of Fen's allies, but...I think the Kishin was released.

Pincher: It must have, its energy alone was immense.

Death: ....

Eis: Hey, are you okay?

Death: Yeah, I'm fine. But now I need to make some calls...

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Death City, Baku and Eternal emerged from the ground, looking at the damaged town, then at the moon. The two Demons could feel the Kishin's power somehow on that massive rock, slowly fading away.

Eternal: So he's going up there, eh? Guess we'll have to build a rocket or something to get him again! I wonder what he's gonna do up there, what about you?

The smaller Demon was now sitting on the ground with his legs crossed, with a look of deep thought in his large eye. For a few seconds he said nothing, only producing a long pipe from his hand, placing a green herb from a small jar in his pocket in the hollow chamber and lighting it with his finger. Then after letting out a cloud of white smoke, he gave his answer.

Baku: If I were the Kishin, I would be quick to regain any strength I've lost after years of being sealed away. Then after getting my bearings on the new world around me, I'd be inventing new techniques to defend myself from the two forces hunting me down.

Baku: That's probably what he's going to do, which means DWMA will also be gathering their strongest Demon Weapons...hm.

He then offered the pipe to Eternal, who gladly accepted it, blowing a massive smoke cloud into the air after taking a seat next to Baku. The cyclops noticed that the 'X' on the Demon's face, along with his normal eye, had taken on a slight pinkish color, he thought to himself, "So that is an eye after all, he can see through it..."

Eternal: Heh, guess that means Fennyboy's gotta find some more strong guys to help, too! It looks like none of those spiders made it.

Baku: Yes, and that means we'll both have to improve ourselves to keep up. However I believe that will be an easy task for us, our copies did pretty decent against the Star Clan boy.

Eternal: Yeah, I guess we did...hey, Baku?

Baku: Yes?

Eternal: ...Merry Christmas.

Baku: Uh...you too.
