You opened your eyes, expecting to meet the familiar beige roof of the nurses' office but you were surprised that you weren't. You raised yourself onto your elbows, gazing at your surroundings, only to discover that you're in a place you hadn't seen since the incident. You were in your room at the apartment. Your eyes traveled to the pictures of you and Emma doing the random things you did, ah those memories were sweet.

Lifting the covers off of your bed, you find that you're still in the clothes Medusa gave you. On the nightstand was the metal plates and on the floor next to it was your sneakers. You saw a small note next to a cold bowl of oatmeal, quickly you grasped it and brought it close to your face. It was from Emily.

Emily: If you're reading this, you woke up. Hooray! Well, I wanted to say I was really worried when I discovered you were missing. I can't wait to come home and see you again! I left you some oatmeal to eat if you're hungry. And one more thing, stay in bed!

- Emily.

You smiled a bit to yourself before immediately swing your legs over the side of the bed and standing up. You set the letter down and slipped the sneakers on. 

(Y/n): Thanks, Emily, but I'd rather have a warm breakfast.

You stuck your hands in the hoodie pockets before walking out the door. Strolling down the sidewalk, you gazed at signs until you saw your Target. You saw the sign to your favorite coffee shop, Deathbucks. You looked through the cold glass and scanned the cozy little shop, making sure no one from the school was there. They would probably flip out and attack you, to be completely honest, pulling the glass door open you stepped inside. Walking up to the counter and the baristo turned to you. You peered at his metal name tag and it read Clark.

Clark: How may I help you?

(Y/n): Can I get a (Favorite type of coffee) with a crumb cake, please?

Clark: Coming up.

You walked to a table and watched as Clark skillfully made the coffee while you waited. For a Baristo, he was quite graceful. He set the order down and then placed the crumb cake in front of you.

Clark: That'll be 10 dollars.

You pulled out your wallet and handed him the cash, then you picked up your order and sat down in a corner booth. You downed the small cake in seconds and slowly sipped the piping hot coffee. You blew a bit of the steam coming from the top and took a sip.

(Y/n): Ahhh, this is delicious.

You stood up and waved at Clark before walking out of the shop, sipping the coffee as you walked around the City. You turned a corner and bumped into someone, offering your hand to the person without looking. The person took your hand and began to drag you.

(Y/n): What th-?

You noticed you had bumped right into Emily.

Emily: I thought I told you to stay in bed!

(Y/n): But I wanted to stretch my legs. Why do I have to listen to you?

Emily released your hand and turned to you.

Emily: I know I can't control you, but I get worried. I care about you even though we have only been partners for a short time.

Emily blushed at the last part and you rested a hand on her shoulder.

(Y/n): You don't have to worry so much, now why don't e do something fun?

Emily: Sure. Why don't we go hang out with the others?

You hand dropped from her shoulder and you frowned.

Emily: What is it?

(Y/n): I tried to hurt Maka.

Emily: You were being controlled remember? Oh, well, I guess you wouldn't remember that.

You gave a soft glare at her little joke.

Emily: Uh, sorry. But I am sure they will forgive you, after all, I did!

You looked down on her smiling face and sigh, ruffling her hair a bit with a small smirk.

Emily: Hey! Stop that!

(Y/n): Alright. Let's go.

You began walking down the sidewalk as Emily practically shuffled after you. She reached your side and you wrapped an arm around her waist, she tensed for a second before relaxing into your chest as you walked toward your friends.

Small Time skip

Emily brought you to a basketball court. You saw everyone was playing and Maka was off to the side reading a book.

Emily: Hey! Guys!

Everyone turned in your general direction and waved, except for Maka whose nose was still in the book. Emily ran over to play and you walked over to Maka.

Maka: I'm trying to read, Soul.

(Y/n): I guess I'll leave then.

Maka quickly glanced up and saw your smiling face. She pounced up and wrapped her arms around your neck pulling you into a tight embrace.

(Y/n): Why, hello to you too.

Maka: What happened to you?!

(Y/n): Oh, that.

Everyone slowly began to circle around you.

(Y/n): I can't really remember anything, all I do remember is seeing you and Soul then getting hit in the face.

Maka: That was Professor Stein and my Dad.

(Y/n): wasOk. Well, how were your days?

Kid and Black had wierd faces as they looked at each other. You could tell something weird happened to them. 

Soul: Well, my wound is starting to heal.

Maka: I was worrying about you two.

Tsubaki: I was comforting Maka. But are you OK, right (Y/n)?

(Y/n): Yeah, I'm fine, where are Liz and Patty?

Maka: Over there.

Maka pointed across the court at the sisters who were discussing something, Liz was laughing while Patty seemed flustered. Liz walked over with Patty.

Liz: Hey, (Y/n)!

Patty: H-hey, (Y/n).

(Y/n): Are you OK, Patty?

Patty: Yeah, just c-can I talk to you?

(Y/n): Sure.

Patty: Privately?

(Y/n): I-uh, I guess?

She took your hand and led you from the others. She walked across the court but, obviously, everyone was eavesdropping on your conversation.

(Y/n): What's wrong, Patty?

Patty: I w-was wondering if y-you-

She pressed the tips of her pointer fingers together and looked up at you cutely. You blushed slightly.

Patty: I-if you w-wanted to go on a d-d-date, with me?

You flushed even more at this. You opened your mouth but no words came out, Patty frowned.

Patty: I'm sorry I'll leave-

As she turned you grabbed her wrist, stopping her. She turned to you with a surprised expression, after finally finding your voice you spoke.

(Y/n): I-I would love to.

Her huge smile blinded you slightly as she latched onto your arm, everyone was surprised. Liz walked over to try and pry Patty off but Patty quickly spoke.

Patty: Bye guys! I'm taking (Y/n) on a date!

She yanked you away and she basically flew down the street you struggling to catch up with her. All the guys were confused, the girls, however, were furious. Even Emily was jealous!

Back to you.

Patty finally stopped in front of a large building. You looked up and saw it was a skating rink.

Patty: C'mon! Let's go!

She led you inside and you walked up to the counter, getting your skates on you stood up. You started to fall and you waved your arms wildly in the air. You grabbed the closest thing you could find with both hands. I will let you figure out what you grabbed. Patty blushed dark red as you quickly released your grip and apologized profusely, she chuckled awkwardly before you presented your hand to her.

Patty: Wow, I got a real gentleman!

(Y/n): My lady.

She laughed and took your hand. You used your other hand and walked along the wall pulling Patty close to ensure her saftey. You finally reached the frozen rink, taking a step and placed a hand against the wall helping Patty stay safe.

(Y/n): It's all about bal-ENCE!

You slipped and landed, smacking the back of your head into the ice. You vision darkened a bit as you stared up into a light.

Patty: (Y/n)!

Patty rushes over to you only to slip and fall right on top of you, your faces mere inches apart. You didn't know if it was in the heat of the moment or the possible concussion but you slowly leaned forward. To your surprise Patty did the same slowly closing her eyes.

???: Are you kids ok?!

You both looked up at a kind faced old man standing over you.

Patty: O-oh, yes sir. I just think my boyfriend here hurt his head.

Wait boyfriend?

???: Help me get him up and I'll take a look.

They helped you stand up and walked you off the ice. The kind man bandaged your head and bought you some nachos. You sat a tabled with Patty, you had a throbbing headache but you wanted Patty to enjoy herself.

(Y/n): A romantic dinner, my lady?

You pushed the nacho basket over to her and she giggled. Within seconds you and her had annihilated the nachos and left the rink, thanking the nice man. You walked her home standing outside the front of the mansion.

Patty: Thank you for being here today.

(Y/n): I had alot of fun with you.

Patty took a step closer and stood on her tippy toes and planted a sweet kiss on your cheek. She quickly walked inside and you walked home holding your cheek. Halfway home it started to rain hard, pulling up your hoodie you walked the rest of the way home.

Timeskip.

You pushed open the door and called out.

(Y/n): Emily I'm back.

You heard no response and walked in.

(Y/n): Emily?

You walked past the bathroom and heard it.

Emily: Oh no!

You noticed the light coming from the bathroom. You open the door slightly and froze. Inside was a girl with light pink hair. You looked in the mirror and saw her. Her eyes raised and her eyes met hers. She turned around quickly .

(Y/n): Emma?

Emma: (Y/n)!

You didn't know how to react and you took a few steps back before bolting out the front door.

Emma: (Y/n) wait!

You ran into the rain soaked night, trying to figure out what had happened.
