As the gang kept on running they saw Kayla on the rooftops jumping and doing cool flips like she's does this all the time, which she does. At one point Kayla jumped down an alley way and was sourned by the big guys. All she did was stand there with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Well looks like i'm in trouble." She gave them a smirk

"You better give us what you stole from us or else!" All four of the guys were getting in a ready position to take out the girl.

By the time they finished that sentence the gang made it to the alley way and were about to attack until Kayla started laughing.

"Ha ha ha" then all of a sudden her shadow started to move towards her hand and it became a long, all black, scythe. The scythe was bigger than her and there was a sort of black fog that was coming out of it.

(just pretend like there's fog)

The gang's jaws dropped at the sight of this. She was a shadow welder. she was able to use her shadow to turn it into any type of weapon in the world.

"You'll have to find me first." and with a snap of her fingers she made multiple copies of herself. This scared the guys while the gang was in even more shocked. Before the group of guys could even take a step back Kayla and her copies were right in front of them in the blink of an eye. She wispered something into their ear's that sent them chills and running away like cowards.

"What." was all the gang could say right now. Kayla snapped her fingers and the copies of herself went away and slowly her shadow went back to where it was. When Kayla finally noticed that they were there she just walked up to them.

"Hey guys! Whats up with your faces? They looked like as if you seen a ghost or something." and after a couple of seconds they burst.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!" Kayla blinked and then started laughing.

"HA HA HA OMG YOUR FACES!!! HA HA HA!!!" she feel to the floor and was rolling around and laughing.

"Kayla your a shadow wielder?!" Kayla looked up at Maka and nodded.

"Yup I am." she then got up and dusted of the dirt from when she was rolling on the ground.

"Listen I didn't want anybody to know about this. I'll tell you more if you promise to keep this a secret."

The gang looked at each other and decided that she could be useful when trying to find the girl that is going and killing late at night.

"We won't tell Kayla. We promise." and with that said a big smile came to her face.

"Thank you guys so much!! You know what! I'm going to take you somewhere later tonight. It will be awesome! Trust me."

After that they left the alley. For the rest of the day they went around town and talked to each other and laughed when Kayla made a joke. The sun was starting to set so the gang decided to go their seprate ways and get their things for the sleep over. Kayla went with with Kid, Liz, and Patty to their house. When they got there Kayla noticed that the place was very symmetrical.

"So Kayla. Since you live in the streets, does that mean you don't take showers?" asked Liz.

"Well yeah. I don't live in a house so I don't have access to running water so yeah." Kayla really didn't mind it though and they were able to hear that in her tone.

"Well you know what your going to take a bath." Liz grabbed Kayla's hand and pushed her into the shower.

"I'll be back with some old pajamas of mine. While that you take a shower." and with that Liz left. Kayla took of her black fabric of her face and had to a just to the light before she did anything else. When she did she saw that her eyes were violet meaning that she was happy. Kayla sighed and decided to take the shower.

When she was done she found some black pj's and under wear on the bathroom counter. She put them on as well as her black fabric and when she came out she noticed that everyone else was there and were wearing pajamas as well.

"Hey guys." said Kayla as she walked up to the gang. when they saw here that smiled at her and said hi back.

"So since Kayla is now our friend, why don't we get to know her better by asking her questions!"

"Yeah I'm down with that." said Kayla. The gang decided to take turn in a order. The order was Maka, Soul, Tsubaki, Black Star, Liz, Kid, and finally Patty

"Ok so what's your favorite color?" asked Maka. This made Kayla chuckle.

"Here I'll show you." With a snap of her fingers Maka was wearing all black

"Does that answer your question?" She snapped her fingers again and she was back to the normal colors she was wearing. Now it was Soul's turn

"So Kayla, How are you able to do those things with your fingers?" Everybody was curios on how she was able to do that.

"Well I don't know really. One day I noticed that I needed to get some guitar strings, then when I found out where to find them I snapped my fingers then all of a sudden they appeared in my hand."

Everyone believed it which was good since she didn't them to find out how she truly got them. Now Tsubaki's turn.

"So if don't mind me asking, can we see your eyes. It's ok if you don't want to." Everyone was curious what her eyes looked like and wanted her to let them see.

"Fine. Just let me get used to the lighting when I take them off."

She slowly started to take of the fabric and when it was finally off Kayla had lower her head and blink a couple of times since she was still getting used to the light inside. When she finally was ajusted to the light she lifted her head and noticed that the gang was now closer to her.

Her eyes were a beautiful teal when they looked into them. She was nervous on what they would think when they saw her eyes so her eyes turn teal when she gets nervous.

"Wow Kayla!!! You have beautiful eyes!" said the girls. Kayla quickly put back on the fabric since she was starting to get embarrassed and when she gets like that her eyes turn magenta.

"Thanks guys. So who's next?" asked Kayla

"THE ALMIGHTY BLACK STAR IS NEXT!!!" yelled Black Star. Kayla nodded for him to ask

"Do you know how to play any other instruments and if so can you show us?" When Soul heard Black Star's question he was curious as well.

"I can play a lot of instruments but i'll play this for now." She snapped her fingers and of to the side there was a grand piano.

"Do you want me to play something slow and calm or fast and fun?"

"BOTH!!!" yelled Black Star. Kayla then started to play a slow song

When the song was finished the whole gang clapped at the performance. Kayla then cracked her knuckles.

"Now for the fun part."

When the gang was listening to the song and watching how fast her fingers were going this left them all shocked. When Kayla was done the whole gang was astonished on how good of a player Kayla was.

"Wow Kayla! That was amazing!!!" Said Patty

"Thanks Patty. Hey its almost time for your surprise but before that we all have to change. So all of you stand up!"

The gang was confused on why she wanted them to change and why they were standing up but they did what she said. With a snap of her fingers everyone was wearing black clothing.

"So Kayla. Why did you make us dress up like this" asked Kid

"You'll see. Now follow me."

And with that they were in the streets walking. After a while they made it to a club that is only for teens and it was a place where you can be a whole different person. When they got to the front door Kayla turned around to face the gang.

"Ok guys. You have to go straight through and when you see a stage just stand there and wait."

And with that she left. The gang was wondering what she was up to but they did what she said and went in. They saw many teens their age all wearing black and were just hanging around talking with other. Just then a group of guys came out and one of them spoke into the microphone.

"Hey guys it's finally that time now but before we start preforming lets bring out our main singer now shall we. Come on out Kayla!"

Kayla came out with the same cloths that she was wearing today but she didn't have her jacket on.

"Now. LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!" (Play music up top)

Kayla started to grab the mic and sing.

People started cheering and clapping and everybody was having an awesome time.

Kayla jumped off the stage and Maka and the others ran to her.

"Kayla that was AWESOME!!!" said Maka. The whole gang was surrounding her and telling her how amazing she was up there. After a while of just hanging out it was almost time for the gang to find the girl that they were looking for. They headed out and got ready for the mission.
