I'm sorry for not updating I've been in a writers block and I was forcing myself to write with my friend and I'm finally out of it, so sorry it's almost school time again. Hopefully I'll actually update more often now. 

Maka's POV: 

It was dark when I opened my eyes. I wasn't able to see anything. 

A girl's laughter rang out, "Oh dear, Ms. Albarn. It seems you've awoken!" 

"Whose there!" I demanded trying to activate my Soul Perception, but finding that I still couldn't see anything around me. 

"Now, now. Don't try and escape already, a mere Meister like you is unable to escape from a place like this. I suggest you sit down and wait for me to come for you. We'll see how the others from the DWMA will handle the situation without your help. Maybe we'll go after the Shinigami's son as well." The laughter rang out again.

"You leave Kid and the others alone!" I shouted standing up, but the laughter continued. 

"You know, Ms. Albarn . . . there is a torture method known as Sensory Deprivation. I wonder how well it will work for you. Goodbye Ms. Albarn." The voice left and I couldn't hear anything. 

"Hello?" I called out, but there was no echo. 

Walking forward, I didn't touch anything. The darkness just went on forever.  "Soul?" I called out , wishing my friend was with me. 

There was just nothing. 

Soul's POV: 

The voice laughed at us. 

"A useless weapon without a Meister and a Meister who is having a hard time using his soul's powers." 

I turned to look at Black Star who paled a little bit but didn't move from his defensive stance. Hilary moved away in fear and jumped into the passage I had left open for her. 

My right arm turn into a blade as the voice continued to laughed. "Why don't you come and fight us then?" I demanded. 

"Not yet, dear Soul. I've been waiting for a long time to see the weapon transformed into a Kishin Hunter. It is also the first time I've seen a member of the Star Clan, a member of the Nakatsukasa Clan, and a Shinigami with his own weapons in training. I'm intrigued. I never expected to get a full packaged deal by coming to the Evans home. It was unexpected, but oh what a blessing!" The voice laughed again. 

She knew us . . . and that was dangerous enough. "Who are you!?" I demanded. 

"I am called Euryale. But you needn't worry your head over that, Soul Eater Evans. I do believe you are missing a member of your group." 

Worry shot through me as she spoke, and then I knew. "What have you done with Maka, Euryale?!" I shouted angrily. 

"She's not dead if that is what you are wondering, but she's not exactly here." her laughter rang out again. "Too bad I won't be able to see my sister's child and the strange scientist who can easily fall into madness."

"Your sister's? And that is?" 

"Oh, dear Soul you know who she is. And her child as well. Maybe you'll figure it out later. That reminds me!" The voice sounded happy and suddenly a kishin egg appeared in front of me. I pulled my arm back getting ready to strike at it.  

"Do not harm the creature!" The voice ordered me, I halted for a second, but I kept my blade to it's neck. The Kishin egg handed me a paper and then disappeared, leaving nothing but it's corrupted soul. 

"It'd do you good to eat that, Soul You'll need your energy to play the rest of the game." 

"Game?" 

"Yes, yes! I'm excited to play with you all. The rules are on that paper! I hope you fail so I can keep your souls! If you do not accept, I will just kill your grandmother and your meister. At least you'll have a chance to save them by accepting!" Then the voice seemed to leave. 

Black Star grabbed the paper from my hands and began to read it. "This isn't right." He sneered as he handed it back to me. 

The paper said:

To the members of DWMA who have entered into the Evans' household! 

You are now playing my game, you are to figure out who I am to you all and who I am related to. That is the way you'll win the game! But there are rules. 

1. If you leave the house I'll kill the meister girl

2. You mustn't call any help from the DWMA if you already have contacted them, call it off. If I see any members from the school approach the house, I will kill all of you. 

3. You must defeat me in battle, and you must fight fairly. You cannot use deception and you must fight straight on. 

4. Before you reach me you must find the meister girl. 

5. After you retrieve the meister girl you must immediately come to fight me. Despite any physical issues you may be suffering. 

6. You cannot evacuate anyone. You must fight with them here. 

7. If I win, I get your souls.

8. If you win, you can leave the house and call for the DWMA to help you.

9. Several games are within this one, you must follow every rule to each game to the fullest, if you cannot you will lose and no longer be allowed to play and can no longer try and fight against me. 

That was the rest of the rules. A cold chill crept up my spine as I turned to look at Black Star. "We need to find Kid and the others right now." He nodded still looking upset.

I shut the passage way up, telling Hilary to protect my mom and stay safe. With that we ran down the hall looking for Kid and the others.
