*splat...* blood...everywhere...

A woman was being stabbed in the middle of her chest.

*thud...*

Her body collapses onto the floor. She turns around and smiles. A little girl runs to her and blocks her face.

She had red hair. I hear crying sounds. Is that...red when she's young?

red: mama!!! mama!!!

' don't cry.'

red: mama!!! I will kill you!!! mama!!!

' don't fight against them. I asked them too.'

red: no... mama!!!

' take care of blue. Protect shibusen. *cough cough*' The woman puts her bloody hand onto the little girl's cheek.  ' you're a homonculus. You are the life I made. You can do what others cannot.'  The woman's voice trailed off and her hand dropped down. 'You...are red...'

red: mama!!! mama!!!!

The little girl cries in agony and screams.

This is all your fault.

what is this voice?

You caused your mama to die.

She is not red.

Your precious mama.The most precious thing you held to your heart.You killed her.

(I didn't kill her!!)

This voice...its red's voice. Where is it coming from?

Than why did she die?

(I....can't remember...)

Than how do you explain that kill? Shibusen killed her.

Shibusen...killed red's...mother....so that's why she went crazy?

Suddenly it was a pitch of darkness. I opened my eyes and I realise its just a dream.

My whole body was wet just from sweating.What was that....? A dream?

But I could hear red. And...who is that other voice who keeps egging red on revenge?

I couldn't get it off my mind.So I went to find someone who knows.

kid: father do you know anything about red's mother?

shinigami: why the sudden question?

kid: I...dreamt of how red's mother died.

shinigami: well...I guess I could tell you. Red's mother's name is wincery. She is the founder of shibusen shadow.

kid: I see.

shinigami: Wincery was a powerful witch. She used to open a cafe for humans until she met Red's father, jay.He is a weapon whose meister was dead at that time . They both fell in love and wincery founded shibusen shadow to protect all the other humans like she wanted to protect jay.

maka:so than they got red and blue neh.

kid: But...why are they dead?

shinigami: jay is not dead.

kid: he's not? Than where is he?

shinigami: he disappeared after wincery's death. Blue doesn't remember about jay, just knows he has a father.

tsubaki: he can erase people's memory?

shinigami: he asked wincery's best friend to help. That was suppose to happen with red but...it didn't succeed. Red still remember most of the things.

kid: most? What was supposed to be erased?

shinigami: jay didn't want them to know of such a horrible past.Jay didn't want them to remember. They weren't supposed to remember how wincery got killed . Weren't supposed to remember the happy things they had as a family.

soul: so...blue doesn't remember how her parents look like?

shinigami: jay believed that if there weren't happy times than it wouldn't be painful to look back.

Black star: that guy is just so selfish!!! Did he even ask if people wanted it that way?!!

kid:So...why did wincery die?

shinigami: shibusen killed her.

*eyes widened* Everybody couldn't believe what they were hearing.

maka: she helped shibusen isn't it?!!!

shinigami: she requested it. Have you heard about the story of the pandora box?

stein: it talks about a group of witches at that time who wanted to protect humans. So they built such a box to contain all the thousands of kishin egg monsters that were created by other witches.

shinigami: something like that.

Long long ago there were thousands of kishin egg monsters. Created by witches or because embroiled by the world's madness. At that time humans were powerless.

To gain power to fight kishin egg monsters, they seek the witches.These witches changed them into kishin egg monsters and were controlled as pawns.

There were some who wanted power to fufill their desires so they looked for witches.

Shinigamis were created to eradicate these eggs and witches. But there were too many and at a point, shinigamis and monsters with witches were at war. Shinigamis lost and our numbers dwindled.

At this time, a shinigami who was powerful and killed many was born. All were scared of his face and aura, even his comrades.

But...he met a witch and fell in love with her.This witch wasn't afraid of him at all. She even help the humans . Hated by all the other witches ,she was always aimed.

This shinigami loved her very much and they worked together.Soon they had their own child.

The shinigamis number continue to dwindle each day as kishin eggs increased.

The witch wanted to help this shinigami very much, so she made herself into a weapon he could use. She theoretically is the first human weapon.

Than 2 humans saw what she could do and begged to do the same to one of them.And thus the first pair of meister and weapon were born.

But it wasn't enough. Shinigamis were dwindling to single digits. The witch searched for witches who would join her cause and they made the pandora box.

To prevent the young witches from becoming evil like their nature  because they weren't controlled and causing continuous chaos,these young witches who have undeveloped power were sacrificed along ad a power source.

Lives of the witches were taken to make this box and seal this box.

But they all agreed on one thing. If one day this chaos were to be able to deal with another chaos coming to harm humans, this box shall be allowed to open.Thus the conditions to open the box.

Red was wrong about one of the conditions. You can't revive anyone with that box. You only can kill someone with that box to fulfill your 'so-called wish'.

The wish is just a fairytale.

20decades later, wincery found the box after so many years. Her wish was  to free her sister's soul that was used to make the box.

maka: so wincery is that good witch's sister?

shinigami: correct. She never wanted to open the box.She just wanted to extract the soul.

stein: but it didn't succeed.Did it?

shinigami: no. But instead she heard her sister's voice. Her sister told her, ' protect the humans . That's what I thought you isn't it?' Wincery understood and she placed three barriers around the pandora box.She split the key into parts so that no one can open it.

liz: well...its getting opened now.

shinigami: the last key for the last barrier was wincery.She didn't want the other witches to harm her family so she killed herself to mislead the other witches that the key is gone forever.

kid: where's the key now?

shinigami: its on red. That's why you have to get her back.

patty: I have a question shinigami sama. Are you that scary shinigami?

shinigami: oh...don't say that.I will get embarrassed~~

'eh!!!!!' everyone said.

shinigami: of course not.

'phew....'

shinigami: I'm the child.

'ehhh!!!!!'

shinigami: the one and only left. Hehe.
