"Hi Maka-chan !"

You giggled,skipping over to the girl in pigtails. Maka looked at you,then smiled. "Hi (y/n). Sup ?" She asked,closing her locker. You smiled,giving a folded paper to her. "There ya go ! I made a drawing of you ! I hope you like it… I worked hard for that !" You giggled,before happily skipping away. "I'll just bring Kid some food !" You yelled as you leave. Maka unfolded the paper,and took a look.

The drawing was nice. It was perfect. But Maka sighed,crumpling the paper and passing by the trash can. She tossed it in the bin,not noticing how it bounced off and fell at the floor instead. She rolled her eyes,clutching her books to her chest:

"Gold digger…"

Kid sighed,leaning against his chair. He was the new head of the school. And of course,he didn't have time to eat. When he turned,he saw a plastic bag of two pastries. He blinked,taking it and examining it.

There was a post-it sticked to it's plastic. And an envelope beside him. "Kiddo-kun ! Eat these pastry for lunch atleast ! Don't let yourself pass lunch time !

Ps: I drew you in the envelope :) Hope you like it !"

A small smile crawled across his lips. He took the envelope,then took the unfolded paper out. He looked at the picture,and chuckled slightly at it's view.

It was a formal picture. His yellow eyes were seen,along with his now-connected sanzu lines. His hands shoved in his pockets casually and he was standing properly with a wry grin. It was perfectly adorable.

He pulled his drawer open,then took a picture frame out. It was black with cute white dots around it,and it was made by you. He smiled,putting your drawing in it and placing it neatly on his desk. "Perfect. Thanks (y/n)." He tilted it a bit to make it perfectly aligned,then took one of the pastries out of the bag. He took a bite,then went back to his paperwork.

[Meanwhile…]

"So… Were the drawings nice ?"

You asked politely,looking at the gang. They all just gave a small nod,even if the truth was some of them ripped it off and most threw it in the trash bins. You smiled,tilting your head to the side slightly. "That's good to hear !" You giggled. Everyone just smiled. You looked at them,then sighed slightly. "Kid's been away for a long time now…"

"Well… We have to finish something today. You're not a part of it so… Maybe you should go hang out with Kid if you'd like."

Blackstar sighed. You blinked,then smiled. "Well… Okay then ! I'll just go home. See ya guys on monday !" You giggled,then walked away. Patty pouted,crossing her arms.

"Hmph." She huffed. Soul shoved his hands in his pockets. "So… Anyone wanna go hang around in the mall tomorrow ? I'm bored." He shrugged. Liz smiled. "Sure. Is (y/n) coming with us ?" She asked.

Maka sighed. "Nah. She'll drag us to that stuff toy section and stay there for three hours again. There's no way I'd wait that long." She crossed her arms. Tsubaki just kept quiet,but a glint of agree crossed her dark blue eyes.

Blackstar grinned. "I'm too awesome to stay around someone with a mind of a three year old. Well,Patty's different." He shrugged. Patty made a small giggle. "Thanks."

"Okay. Mall tomorrow at exactly… 10 ? Kid's not coming with us so we don't have to leave at 8." Liz smiled. Everyone gave a nod,then went back to their homes.

You clutched your sling bag's handle tightly,humming as you looked around. You were in the mall alone in a saturday morning. Well… Haruto was called to do remedial lessons so you decided to have a self time.

You passed by the stuffed toy store again. The fluffy cotton that caught your eyes made you squeal,running to the store and checking out the huge teddy bears.

Your eyes glittered as you stared at the toys. Cute. Cute. Too much cuteness.

"Yeah right ! I agree !"

You blinked,hearing a familiar voice. You turned your head to see Blackstar and the others. Without Kid of course.

You gasped happily,quickly taking small teddy bears and paying for them. You made your cheeky smile,walking to the exit. "Hey,gu—"

"(y/n)'s just sticking around with Kid to get good grades. Remember the time when she went absent and she lied about being sick ? Kid excused her."

You stopped,looking startled. Your eyes were innocently wide as you held exactly 9 small teddy bears,each in everyone's favorite colors. Including yours and the gang's,with your weapon's also. "But… I wasn't… Lying…" You mumbled,watching them laugh together. They were wearing casuals,and obviously planned this without you.

As they walked away,you can still hear their insulting comments. And finally,Soul changed the subject. You looked down,frowning as you hugged the bag of the bears tightly.

"I just wanna make friends…"

"Kiddo…"

You gently knocked on the Death room's door,looking down at your feet. As usual,Kid didn't open the door. "Come in !" He yelled from the inside.

You pushed the door open,sighing. You slowly walked to his desk,taking a seat beside him. "Hey… Can I talk to you about something…?" You looked up to see him staring intently at the papers on his desk. A bead of sweat trickled down from his forehead,before earning a frustrated sigh. "(y/n),I'm busy. Maybe some other time." He slightly dismissed you by a small wave with his hand. You frowned,looking at him.

"But…"

"Not now,(y/n)."

Kid said straightly,not even taking his gaze off of the papers. You looked down,before sighing and standing up. "Okay… But…" You took the black teddy bear from the bag,then placed it beside his table. "This is for you…" You smiled slightly,before leaving. Kid just ignored,signing a paper and placing it on a stack on the right side of his desk.

Hours passed. He didn't take a look at the bear in the time period. He didn't even notice that it was there. It blended with his desk's color.

He slightly turned,bumping the bear and causing it to fall to the ground. But him,being a busy person in his early twenties,he didn't bother taking a look. Or even picking it up.

You sighed,deciding to check on him. You opened the Death room's door slightly,then silently walked in. You peeked,seeing the bear you gave on the ground. Kid was still busy,and he didn't seem to care about the small thing at the moment.

You blinked,frowning. You turned to your back,going out of the Death room again with your hands behind your back. You know Kid. He would never ignore you when you're around. But seeing the way the thing you saved money for being mindlessly placed on the ground,it made you feel sad. Worse than the gang's secret hatred for you because you both are like best friends.

You sighed sadly,making small fists as your frown turned to a depressed expression.

"Why do they all hate me…"
