"Everything's just one-sided.."

You thought as you walked to the hospital room,holding your bag as you walked.

"He'll forgive me,right ?"

You thought,sighing deeply and stopping in front of the room door.

"He'll forgive me..."

You took the door knob and opened the door. Cries were heard inside as you entered,starting to tremble in nervousness.

Tsubaki was on a hospital bed,seeming pale. She wasn't moving. Her eyes were closed,the monitor beside her wasn't beeping. Blackstar was beside her,looking down and crying.

You frowned,closing the door behind you. As the door clicked,Blackstar looked up at you. His eyes were slightly red from crying. His look turned to an unpleasant glare,sitting up straight. "What are you doing here..." He mumbled.

The anger in his voice scared you. You gulped,before starting to dwindle your thumbs in fear. "I-I.... Wanted to visit..." You stuttered. Blackstar growled,clenching fists as he angrily stood up.

"Visit ?! YOU KILLED TSUBAKI ! HOW DARE YOU SHOW UP IN HER ROOM ?!" He raged. You took a step back as he yelled,starting to feel nervous. "L-look... I-I'm sorry..."

"Sorry ?! You think your sorry will get MY WEAPON back alive ?!" Blackstar raised his fist,about to punch you. You gasped then squeezed your eyes shut,waiting for the impact.

But instead,Blackstar turned and punched the wall hardly. It left a large dent as he breathed heavily,blood running down from his fist. "I trusted you..." He mumbled. You stood there,silent as you opened your eyes and looked at him. Blackstar's tears started rolling again,dropping to the floor.

"It was simple... I trusted you to protect her... Just that..." He mumbled,his voice slowly raising again. "I-I went insane... I-I didn't mean to... I-I'm sorry..." You muttered, trembling as you watched him turn your back at you.

"I know... I was too stupid... Too stupid to trust someone insane like you..." Blackstar mumbled,his head hanging low. Your eyes shot wide,getting hurt by his words. You started tearing up,making fists. "I-it's not like I wanted to be insane ! I did my best to stop myself from losing it ! I TRIED TO SAVE HER !"

"BUT YOU DIDN'T !"

Blackstar yelled back,glaring at you. You paused,staring at him with wide eyes as your own tears started streaming. Blackstar inhaled,before sighing deeply. He wiped his tears off,before turning back and going to the chair beside Tsubaki's body. "I just... Hate you..." He mumbled. "Please,leave when you still have time... I might lose it and kill you myself in anger..."

That was the last straw. You started sobbing,before giving a nod and running outside of the room. Everyone in the hospital was looking at you as you ran. But the sadness and emotional pain you're feeling at the moment made you ignore them.

It was true. You went completely insane when the madness inside you started taking over. Tsubaki was trying to calm you down at the moment while Blackstar was fighting the kishin. He knew Tsubaki can calm you down,but it didn't work. And you ended up killing her while you're in your mad state.

You thought he'd forgive you if you explained. But he didn't. And the words he said were enough to make you feel bad about yourself.

You ended up in the forest. You sat under a tree and hugged your knees,crying on your own. "I'm sorry..."

Weeks have passed. In school,the whole gang was moving away from you since Tsubaki's death. You can even catch Blackstar frowning sometimes.

The loneliness you were feeling made you depressed. And you know that you might lose it again if you stay like that,so you decided to just take a long term mission in somewhere far away to stop yourself.

"Well... I only have one for three-star meisters..." Lord Death said in his comical voice. You sighed,giving a nod. "I'll take it." You looked up at him. Lord Death looked at you. "(y/n),if you take this,there's no turning back. This mission is deadly. Are you sure ?" He asked,obviously concerned. You gave a nod. "I'm sure,Lord Death."

Lord Death sighed. "Look,I know you're upset of how the others act with you. But please,don't go suiciding." He pleaded. You sighed,smiling sadly. "Don't worry. My only plan is to leave for a while. I just want to take a break and get back to action." You replied. Lord Death sighed,having no choice. He gave you the mission,saying his good luck greets as you left the Death room.

[Meanwhile]

"It's so quiet without (y/n) around..."

Patty mumbled as she ate her food. Kid sighed. "I noticed that also..." He mumbled. Blackstar kept silent,eating his food. Soul looked at him,sighing. "I know you still have feelings for her though." He said. Blackstar sighed. "She killed my partner. That's enough for me to forget about those feelings."

"Don't be so foolish. She didn't mean to do that." Kid looked at him. "Your point ?" Blackstar raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "His point is you should forgive her before it's too late. It's not like we all will live forever. We all will die." Maka said matter-of-factly. "And Tsubaki just got first to her end. You shouldn't blame (y/n) for it." Liz added. Blackstar paused for a while,thinking. The rest continued to eat,until the bell rang.

"(y/n)'s gone for two weeks now..."

Blackstar mumbled as he looked at your empty seat. He sighed,going to his own.

Yep,he was waiting for you to go to classes. He yelled hurtful things at you,and he figured that he should say sorry and forgive you. In fact,Kid was right. You never meant to.

"Okay,class. Turn to page 88. It'll be today's lesson." Stein said. Blackstar was about to get his book,when Stein looked at him. "Oh,and Blackstar. Lord Death wants to see you." He stated. Blackstar blinked,before sighing and deciding to go.

As he walked to the hallway,he can't help but to feel sad. He used to walk with Tsubaki in this hallway. And this is where he first met you; When you both were called to the Death room.

"Heyya,Blackstar-kun !" Lord Death's comical voice said. Blackstar looked up,smiling. "Hi Lord Death."

"So... You noticed that (y/n)'s been missing for two weeks now,right ?" Lord Death said. Blackstar's eyes shot wide. "Yes... Why ask..." He mumbled. Lord Death sighed sadly.

"That day,(y/n) asked for a long term mission... I only had one for three-star meisters at that time,so I asked if she's sure. She said she was,so I gave her the mission." He mumbled. Blackstar's eyes narrowed.

"And...? Is that all you have to say ?" He sighed,placing his hands behind his back. But behind it,his fingers were crossed,and he was mentally wishing that you didn't get hurt. He was still planning to forgive and say sorry to you for yelling hurtful stuff.

Lord Death sighed,clasping his white waffle hands together. "Are you sure you're ready ?" He asked. Blackstar gave a firm nod. Lord Death cleared his throat.

"She was still checking in exactly at 8:00 am last week and a half. The reason why it was eight was for Kid to be happy..." Lord death placed his hands down. Blackstar silently listened. "But two days ago,she stopped checking in. And knowing the issue between her and the gang,I decided to send another meister to check what happened to her..." Lord Death trailed off. Blackstar's eyes started getting covered by his small blue bangs. "And..." He muttered. Lord Death sighed. "Good news and bad. What do you want first ?"

"Good..."

Blackstar mumbled. Lord Death paused for a while,before speaking in a sad voice.

"The pupil said she found her in a dark,abandoned alleyway..."

The tension raised as they both kept silent. After seconds,Lord Death continued.

"And she's dead.."

Blackstar's eyes shot wide. His shock made pictures of you and your smiles appear in his sight. "N-no... D-d-dead...? Y-you're not serious..." He mumbled,his voice cracking as tears started forming in his eyes. Lord Death sighed sadly. "I'm sorry. But she forced me to give that mission..."

Blackstar did his best to hold his tears back,giving a nod. He didn't want to look weak in front of the Death God,so he just turned around and started walking with his head down.

As he took the door then went outside,the whole gang was seen. Everyone was wearing a frown,and it's sure that if Tsubaki's still alive,she'd be so concerned about his meister's feelings from the news.

"We heard everything..." Maka sighed. Blackstar looked up at them,his vision getting weary as tears started welling up in his eyes. The others watched,and even Patty was crying while hugging Liz.

"I-I wasn't... I didn't even..." Blackstar mumbled,the tears dropping from his eyes. Soul sighed,feeling pity for his best friend.

"S-she died thinking I-I hate her... S-she..." Blackstar's stutters made everyone cry silently. Soul patted his best friend's back,mumbling 'it's okay's in a cracked voice. Blackstar fell on his knees as he reluctantly covered his eyes with his arm,trying to wipe all of his tears off.

"I-it's too late..."
