"(y/n)… Why ?!"

Blackstar raged with tears in his eyes. You sighed sadly,before looking away. "I'm sorry…" You mumbled. Blackstar's fists clenched. "We've been together for three whole years ! Then I'll find out that you're cheating ?! WITH KID ?!" He raged. You held your cries in,biting your lip. Blackstar covered his eyes with his arm,trying to wipe his tears off. "Right when I thought of proposing to you…? Why…? You didn't have to do this…" He mumbled. You just sighed,then looked away. "Let's just… Break up.." You mumbled. Blackstar gritted his teeth with a low growl,sniffling. "Don't even show yourself again… LEAVE DEATH CITY,YOU B*TCH !" He yelled then ran off.

His word stung. You fell on your knees then started crying. You didn't really want to hurt him. And you were not cheating. You and Kid did that on purpose,to make him break up with you. Why ?

You're dying because of an illness and you only have 2 weeks left to live.

Yep. As a last wish,you formed a plan with the whole group. It was a secret to Blackstar. They'll act like you really were cheating on him with Kid,and to make him break up with you so it wouldn't hurt much once you die. You never wanted important people crying because of you. So you thought it's better to hurt him that way.

"I'm sorry…" You mumbled,hugging your knees. Your phone vibrated,making you take it. It was Kid. "(y/n) ? Have you done it ?" He asked. You sighed,then muttered a yes. Kid sighed at the other line. "Turn your GPS on. I'll go take you home. I'm sure you're tired and sad." Kid said before ending the call. You sighed,turning it on and setting it beside you. You just hugged your knees and sat still and waited for Kid to come.

He came minutes later,then brought you home as he said. He stayed with you for a while then left after some time. You just went to sleep,mainly because of exhaustion.

A week passed by quickly. You were at home all day,not being able to come to school because your energy drained everyday. Kid and the others visit you every afternoon after classes,and of course,Blackstar is an exception.

[At Blackstar & Tsubaki's home]

"So she really left Death City." Blackstar stared at his hand,a fist forming. Tsubaki sighed. "Are you happy ?" She asked. Blackstar sighed,pulling the small,diamond ring from his pocket. "I don't know… But I know one thing." He stood up,then raised his hand.

"I don't give a damn anymore."

He muttered,before throwing the ring to the trash can. Tsubaki watched with a frown,staring at him. "But…" She mumbled. Blackstar looked at her. "But ?" He asked. Tsubaki sighed. "Nothing…"

Then there was a knock on the door. Blackstar stood up,then went to it. "Who is i—" His expression changed when he saw Kid. He gripped the door knob tighter. "What are you doing here ?" He glared. Kid sighed. "(y/n)'s taking an operation at this moment.. Please,come as soon as you can.." He handed an envelope,then left. Blackstar looked at it,surprised. "(y/n)'s… What ?" He looked at Tsubaki. Tsubaki just sighed. Blackstar's eyes narrowed,then tossed it on the floor. "Kid ! Get back here !" He yelled. Kid stopped,looking at him. "What is i—" "Are you f*cking serious ?! You already took (y/n) ! Now you're going to build up some prank ?!" Blackstar grabbed his shirt collar. Kid glared. "Put me down." He muttered. Blackstar scoffed. "So she's still here ? I thought I told her to leave Death City !" He tossed Kid to the ground.

Kid caught his balance,then scoffed. "You just don't understand !" He yelled. "Don't understand what ? That she's a b*tch and she wants me to see you both doing lovey-dovey stuff ?" Blackstar rolled his eyes. Kid sighed. "Read the letter. That's all that I can say." He gave him a pat on the shoulder then walked away. Blackstar growled then marched back to his house. Tsubaki was reading the letter,a hand covering her mouth with tears in her eyes. "What ? You falling for their trap ?" Blackstar raised an eyebrow. Tsubaki sniffled,standing up and grabbing a purse. "It's not a trap !" She yelled. Blackstar blinked,then just sighed. "Whatever… I'm not going." He mumbled. Tsubaki just sighed,then ran off. Blackstar watched. Minutes later,he decided to read the letter.

Hey Blackstar !

So… Uh… I… Just want to say sorry… For making you cry like that. I swear,I won't ever do that again.. For some reason.

Did anyone informed you ? Ah… I forgot,I told them not to let you. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret to you. Well… The reason that I broke up with you is because…

I don't want you to know that I have cancer. Okay ? I don't want you to get sad… And at the moment you're reading this,I'm being operated to… Save my life for a try. So… Yeah… I told Kid to bring this to you once this day comes.

Well… That week went by fast with me on my own. I actually thought cancer would hurt,but hey,it didn't. Actually,it was nice because I can rest all day. But my energy drains even though I don't do anything. Reason why I couldn't go to school these days.

Blackstar dropped the paper,startled. He went back to his senses then picked the ring up from the trash can,then sprinted.

"Wait for me,(y/n) !"

"Did you give it to him ?" You looked up at Kid,who sighed sadly with a nod. "Of course…" He mumbled. You weakly smiled,using some of your left energy to touch his arm. "Thanks…" You mumbled. Maka sighed,looking at you. "I know Blackstar. He'll come here." She smiled. You looked at her then smiled back,giving a nod. "Okay..

"Sis ? Where is she going ?" Patty asked. Liz frowned. "We're still not sure… But I hope she stays with us longer…" She answered. Patty blinked. "Really ?" She asked. Liz sighed with a nod. "Yeah…" She mumbled. Soul gritted his teeth. "I swear,I'll kill Blackstar if he doesn't show up.." Soul mumbled. Maka sighed. "It's not his fault. Besides,(y/n) decided to plan this." She glanced at you. You just smiled,shrugging. Tsubaki entered the room,making everyone turn. "Where's Blackstar…?" You asked. Tsubaki frowned,shaking her head. "Sorry.." She mumbled. You sighed,then just nodded. "It's fine… I understand…" You mumbled. You glanced at the monitor,seeing your heart rate dropping slowly. You sighed,staring at the white ceiling.

The doctor and nurses sent them out,telling them to wait outside. Everyone silently left,sitting outside and trying to peek at the window.

"(y/n) !"

Everyone turned,seeing Blackstar running from the hallway. You heard his voice,making you glance at the window. "Where is she ?!" He asked,looking at the group of six with heavy breaths. Soul stood up,sighing. "Inside. Taking the operation to try and save her life at least." He mumbled. Blackstar clenched his fist then ran to the door,peeking at the glass. One nurse noticed him looking,making the doctor tell her to close the curtains. You glanced at him,then gave a sad smile.

"I'm sorry."

You mouthed,before the nurse closed the curtains. Blackstar watched,stunned. He bit his lower lip,fisting the glass and looking down. "Stay alive ! Please !" He yelled,trying to barge in. Tsubaki stood up,together with Kid,taking his shoulders and pulling him away from the door. "Shh… Stop it…" Kid sighed. "Let's just hope for the best…" Tsubaki mumbled.

Blackstar looked down,his fists still clenched. He glared at the other four,tears springing from his eyes. "Since when ? Why ? Why did no one informed me about this ?!" He raged. Maka sighed. "Look,it's (y/n)'s wish,Blackstar…" She mumbled. "Wish ? Are you out of your mind ?!" Blackstar raged. Liz stood up. "She told us not to let you know earlier because she didn't want you to get sad or depressed about it !" She yelled back. Soul sighed. "And because she's dying… We just decided to grant it for her…" He mumbled. Blackstar glanced at Kid,who just gave him a pat on the shoulder. "I'm sorry if I had to make you feel that way. But she pleaded me for it. I can't say no…" He mumbled. Blackstar sighed. "Uhm… Guys… Let's just stop fighting… Mr. Girraffe and (y/n)'s getting sad…" Patty mumbled. "They can hear you all…" She added. Everyone looked at her,Tsubaki nodding. "She's right. We're not supposed to fight. We're here to support her. Not to fight because of her." Tsubaki said as she sat down on a bench. Everyone just agreed,sitting on benches and waiting as the clock ticked.

Soon,everyone fell asleep,except for Blackstar. Three hours have passed and nothing changed. He was staring at the ring,frowning. "Stay alive… You still have to wear this…" He mumbled. He sighed after,closing his eyes and keeping the ring in his fist. Just as when he was about to fall asleep,he heard a sound. A long,beeping sound. His eyes shot wide,standing up. "Beeping… Sound…?" He mumbled. Tsubaki got awakened by his actions,making her sit up. "Is anything wrong…?" She asked. Blackstar ignored,running to the window and peeking in the small space between the lose curtain.

Blackstar froze as he saw the doctor placing a blanket over your 'sleeping' body. He then looked at his wristwatch. It was muted,but for Blackstar,it was loud and clear.

Time of death,8:27 pm
