"Sleepy ?" Kid chuckled as he watched you slam your head against the seat in front of you. "Yeah..." You tiredly answered. He smiled, then snaked his arm around you, then pulled you to him. Then, he placed your head on his shoulder, smiling. "Get some rest..."

Kid kept on thinking, but his heart and mind aren't connected. Tears formed in his eyes as he remembered everything... He looked at the window and silently cried all by himself.

"Tch..." You grumbled as you did your best to defeat the said kishin. But it was too strong ! You gripped your sword tightly, then blocked an incoming blade from it, glaring. "Damn it, I can't do this alone..." You grumbled as a memory flashed in front of your very eyes.

"You're a close range girl, and I'm not. I'll distract him, you attack. Gets ?" Kid grinned, twisting one of his pistols. You smiled, nodding. "Hai !"

A blade wounded your shoulder, making you wince and get back to reality. You stared at the kishin, blinking.

You made a growl to yourself. Anger.

"Kid... Kid !" You made a growl, then threw the sword at the Kishin's leg, before running off.

To stand back where you stood

You ran off to corners. Alleyways. Roads. Sidewalks. Hoping for any signs of him. His sanzu lines. Golden eyes.

Tears welled up in your eyes. "Kid ! Where are you ?!"

"Happy anniversary !" Kid chuckled, kissing your head. You giggled, looking up at him as he placed a small crown over your head. "Tada~!"

You blinked. "Crown ?"

He grinned, then bowed. "You're my queen."

You stopped as you reached the middle of four more alleyways. You bent down and rested your hands on your knees, panting.

"Damn it..." You mumbled as you started sobbing, tears dropping out from your eyes.

What if he got injured and you never get a chance to have him back ?

2 AM, here we are

Kid walked forward, the kishin soul in his pocket. He made a sigh, then started to hear sobs. Huh ? It's already 2am, who would sob in the middle of the plaza ?

See your face, hear my voice in the dark

You heard footsteps. Standing up straight, you wiped your tears away, turning to the alleyway in front of you.

Golden eyes.

3 white lines.

"Huh..."

Kid continued to walk casually, holding his guard up. He heard a small 'Huh' of your voice. Eyes widened, he stopped, just in a small, light from one of the flickering lightposts. Enough to see his face.

We're a crooked love in a straight line down

"Kid...?" You stared, surprised.

"(y-y/n)..." He mumbled, seeing the wound on your shoulder, before frowning and looking back at you.
Makes you wanna run and hide

Kid frowned, then turned around, starting to walk away.

Chance !

Your tears welled back up again, and you sobbed, running to him.

"Kiddo !"

But it made us turn right back around

Kid blinked, and turned back around, just in time for your arms to snake around him and hug him tightly. "I-I'm sorry ! I-I was angry and frustrated, o-out of control ! Please don't leave me alone ! Let's get back together !"
