"A motel? Really Bobby" Clarity frowned at the man as they left the bus. Coach only sneered at her. "Yes Ms Hale a motel, gotta problem?" Coach asked her, a handful of keys in hand. Clarity felt the strong urge to hijack the bus and find a hotel. Reni rolled her eyes at Coach as he gave Clarity a side glance as the boys rolled out from behind them.

"Listen up! The meet's been pushed 'til tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and the least amount of good judgement when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves! You'll be pairing up choose wisely. And I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants! Got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!" Coach shouted at every straight or gay-looking pair up he saw, his eyes landing on Clarity, Reni, Danny and some senior next to him.

Clarity smirked at Coach as she grabbed a room key for both her and Reni. "I've got my eye on you Hale" Coach warned her, unaware the girl could rip him to shreds with a single click of her fingers. Reni only rolled her eyes at their exchange before dragging Clarity away from everyone. "Come on, I'm starving!" Reni gasped, linking her arm around Clarity's.

Reni collapsed onto the bed, her hair sprawled out on the white sheets. "I'm shocked Coach didn't notice Allison and Lydia" She mentioned while Clarity put her bags on a set of drawers. "It's Coach, all he cares is if the team is gonna win" She smirked, turning around to Reni. Clarity jumped onto the bed next to her. The girls giggled as they momentarily jumped in the air. Turning on their sides to face each other, dark brown meeting the supernatural yellow. "Clar, your eyes" Reni whispered with a giddy smile on her face. Butterflies were soaring in her stomach as Clarity closed her eyes before she opened them and allowed their natural brown to show.

Clarity brushed a stray hair from Reni's face, tucking it behind her ear. Her fingers gently hovered over her cheeks. "I was so scared that you were gonna die...I can't lose you Ren" Clarity whispered, trying to avoid the sight of her lips as she drew nearer to the girl she was falling for.

Reni smiled sweetly at Clarity, unaware of the butterflies in her stomach going insane. "You're not losing me anytime soon Clar" Reni smiled interlocking their hands and kissing the back of Clarity's. "Me and you, always" Reni promised her.

Clarity smiled back, "Always".

Clarity walked down the steps, trying to find the nearest vending machine. She finally found one. She carefully eyes the junk food inside, each one a cheaper knockoff than the other. "How crappy is this motel?" She scoffed as she put some change in for a bag of chips.

'Clarity' a smooth voice whispered right in her ear. The young Hale turned to see who it was, only to find no one around her. She only shook it off as the chips fell from the shelf. She turned around, walking back to her hotel room. As she walked up the stair a shadow past her vision.

'Clarity Mikaelson'

Chills ran down her spine as the voice became so clear. Clarity's eyes glowed yellow and her sclera turned blood red before she turned in the opposite direction to the motel room.

Reni left the bathroom, with fresh pyjamas and damp hair to prove it. She looked at her phone, noticing it had been a good while since Clarity had left for snacks. Reni quickly put her shoes on and a jacket on the bed. With her hair in a low ponytail, Reni was pushed back with a cold breeze.

She walked towards the closest vending machine to find Boyd aimlessly staring at it. Reni carefully walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Boyd?" Reni called out softly. He didn't respond to her vocally, but his eyes glowed for a moment. Reni took her hand off him, a dark feeling in her stomach. "Bo–" Before Reni could finish, Boyd punched the glass of the vending machine.

Reni let out a yelp, jumping backwards into someone as the glass fell to the concrete. Boyd just left suddenly, with no emotion towards what he had just done.

"Reni? You okay?"

She looked behind her to see Stiles, holding her gently by her forearms. Reni turned around to face Stiles. "Have you seen Clarity? I can't find her" Reni asked him instead, blocking out what just happened. Stiles shook his head, wondering if she was alright. " Ren, what's wrong?" Stiles asked her, worried for his pseudo-little sister.

Reni could feel the pit in her stomach grow, the darkness clouded her mind. "Somethings off... Boyd... it was like something was possessing him" Reni tried to explain, feeling a tingling in her fingers. She looked down to see her usual caramel fingertips turning black. Stiles also saw it.

"Something is poisoning us. I remember this in one of Milah's books. You need to find Scott and the others now! I'll find Clarity" Reni gulped before quickly running back to her motel room, hoping that Clarity was okay.

The door was ajar when Reni reached it, her senses had heightened as she carefully walked in. Clarity sat on the bed closest to the door, staring directly at Reni. The younger McCall calmed down at the sight of the Hale. "Clar, you scared me" Reni sighed, closing the door behind her.

"I never meant to scare you" Clarity answered softly. Reni noticed her tone was different, it was dull. "I was worried, you were gone for a long time" Reni told her, locking the door. She felt a slight breeze on her neck. She turned to find Clarity only inches away from her. Her eyes were a dim yellow as they stared at her lips. Reni took a deep breath as Clarity stepped closer. "I wish you could hear it" Clarity whispered, the back of her hand gently sliding down Reni's cheek. "Hear what?" Reni whispered as Clarity held her chin in between her thumb and index finger.

Clarity didn't answer. She crashed her lips on Reni's, pushing her back into the door with a thump. Her hands fell to Reni's hips, pulling her closer. Reni felt like she was gonna faint, her brain melting to mush. She kissed her back harder, every atom in her body screaming to do so. Her hands rose to Clarity's neck, cradling her head in her hand.

Clarity's grip tightened making Reni jump. The werewolf smirked into the kiss, gently biting her bonded's lips. Reni's eyes open briefly before Clarity's tongue slipped into her mouth. Reni's body quivered at the action. Clarity's hands left Reni's hips, sliding slowly down her sides before curving under her thighs.

The kiss went deeper, Reni was practically brain-dead at Clarity's touch. There was no warning before Clarity lifted Reni's thighs, causing her to wrap her legs around Clarity's waist. Reni's head hit the door, breaking the kiss for a moment. Reni opened her eyes, noticing that Clarity's were glowing brightly unaware that her own was too.

"You. You are mine" Clarity hissed, her mouth attaching itself to Reni's bare neck. Reni let out a small moan that drove Clarity crazy. Reni rolled her hips to let out the feeling she had, Clarity's smirk planted on her collar bone, hiding the fresh hickey's on her neck. Clarity raised her head to look at Reni.

Possessive. That was the only word to describe how Clarity Hale looked at Reni McCall.

"Say it... Say that you're mine" Clarity growled lowly, her gaze returning to Reni's lips. Her breaths were short, and the bad feeling in her gut had disappeared replaced with something unfamiliar. "I'm yours" Reni whispered before Clarity's lips returned to her own, not wasting any time by forcing her tongue inside.

Buzz.... Buzz

Reni felt her phone in her pocket, bringing her back to reality. Gently pushing Clarity back slowly. The silence was unsettling, to say the least as her feet met the ground. Reni walked away from Clarity's touch and took out her phone.

4 missed calls from Buzzcut

Reni's eyes widened as she dialled Stile's number. How did she miss four of his calls?

'Finally! Meet me at Boyd and Issac's room now!' Stiles gasped over the phone.

"Why?" Reni asked turning around to see Clarity.

'Boyd is trying to drown himself and you are the only one who can help now go!' Stiles ranted before hanging up.

Reni dropped her hand loosely as Clarity was nowhere in sight and the motel door was open. Her fingers ghosted over her lips, the dark feeling returning to her stomach. She didn't even notice her eyes return to their brown colour.

Reni ran into the hotel room, past the bed and straight into the bathroom as she witnessed Stiles trying to light an emergency flare. She quickly grabbed it out of his hand. "Incendia" Reni spat, the flare lighting immediately before she shoved it into the water. As her purple eyes glowed in the water's reflection, Boyd's did also before the motel safe came flying out of the bathtub.

Stiles pulled Reni back from the flying heavy object as Boyd's head returned to the surface. Reni fell to the floor, hugging Boyd as Stiles and Lydia went to Issac. She squeezed him tightly, tears falling before she let him go.

"I'm good Mini McC-OW!" Boyd hissed as Reni punched his shoulder hard. "Don't ever do that again! You hear me, Vernon! Ever. Again!" Reni snapped at him, tears still falling from her eyes. Boyd pulled her in for another hug, calming her down slightly. "I promise as long as you stop with the first name business Serenity" Boyd told her, earning another hit on the chest.

"Once you too are done with the reunion, Scott and Sourwolf Jr. are still missing!" Stiles called from the motel room. Reni smiled at Boyd before walking out to find her brother and...whatever Clarity was gonna be to her after this was done.

Allison, Lydia and Stiles were waiting for Reni outside the room. "Finally we think the Darach wants to kill three werewolves" Stiles told Reni. She looked at Stiles like he was crazy. "Three wolves? But the only other ones are Clarity and Scott" She told them. She looked at the three of them before the realisation hit her. "Me" She whispered, her eyes gazing to where the sun mark on her wrist lay. "You... You're a werewolf?" Allison asked, confused as to why she would insinuate that.

"The soul bond it makes us one. I heal fast and have strength" Reni explained briefly to them. "Making you a werewolf" Lydia answered before the sound of metal clashing hit the air. Reni's eyes glowed as her knees lost their strength. Allison and Stiles caught her, leaning her against the wall.

"It's Clarity... She needs me. You guys find my brother or I swear I will make your life hell" Reni told them before the trio left her to find the missing Hale.

Reni closed her eyes, touching the walls of the motel. The mark on her wrist glowed, her veins doing the same. She could feel a light sensation on her cheeks unaware of the faint glow. Her vision was purple as she searched for Clarity, retracing her movement since their last... encounter. She saw Clarity climbing the pipes, creating that crash and landing on the roof. "Gotcha" Reni smirked before running to the nearest fire escape. She climbed the metal bars, her breaths fast and shallow.

As she finally got to the roof, Clarity's dark grey shoes were her first glance at her. Reni stood up, dusting herself off quickly. Clarity stood at the edge of the building with her eyes closed. As Reni walked close she noticed that Clarity was talking to herself.

"No...I'm not like you" Clarity gritted as she tried to fight. She didn't want to jump, to be what everyone wanted of her. She refused to... she would not be like him.

'Yes you will love, you will finally be worthy to be my daughter. My heir'

Klaus Mikaelson stood next to Clarity, a devious smirk on his face.

"Clarity? It's me... It's Ren" Reni called out, walking closer to her bonded. "Reni stay back... I don't wanna hurt you" Clarity begged, her voice shaky as she opened her eyes. Reni gasped at her red sclera. Yet she wasn't scared, she was worried. The look in Clarity's eyes made her stomach drop.

She had never seen Clarity Hale so terrified.

'See, your beloved Serenity wants to help. Your blood is already in her system, you both could destroy to world... together' Klaus whispered in her ear, making her whimper.

"Clarity, look at me okay" Reni smiled softly, standing right beside her away from the ledge. Clarity looked at her with a weak smile, the dark red slowly leaving her eyes. "I'm sorry Ren... I'm sorry about everything" Clarity sobbed softly, tears streaming down her face.

"Sorry for what? You have nothing to apologise for" Reni told her, slowly taking her hand and interlocking their fingers.

'Tell her... tell her who you are Clarity Mikaelson' Klaus hissed into her ear.

Clarity choked on her cries. "But I do... I lied about who I am... what I am" She tried to hold back the truth. Reni looked at her with a serious face. "I don't care" She told her, stepping on the ledge next to Clarity. "I know I've been confused about all this. Werewolves, witches..."

'Vampires' Klaus reminded Clarity.

"I mean there are facts but then there's... this" Reni let out a breathy laugh, causing Clarity to smile once more. "But there's one thing I do believe in... us" Clarity raised her eyebrow at what she might be implying. "You have been with me since day one, when I fell you picked me up, when I was hurt you took away the pain. I don't care what you are but I know one thing for sure...This bond between us isn't platonic, it's so much more" Reni cupped Clarity's cheek, unaware of the angry illusion next to them.

Reni brought their heads together, causing their marks to glow. "I need you Clarity Hale, more than you'll ever know" Reni told her before bringing her in for a soft kiss. Clarity's hands cupped her cheeks, falling into the kiss.

Reni opened her eyes before pulling them apart. Clarity looked at her confused until Reni held a flare in her hand. "Reni?" Clarity asked over the screams and threats from Klaus.

"Incendia" Reni spoke as the flare ignited, the heat taking Clarty out of her delusion. Quickly the young Hale grabbed the flare throwing it away and she wrapped her arms around Reni. She jumped away from the edge, the pair landing on the roof harshly.

Reni looked at Clarity, seeing the yellow in her eyes had stopped glowing. "My name is Clarity Mikaelson" Clarity told her with fear in her voice. Reni only moved a strand of hair out of her face. "No, you're a Hale and that's all that matters right now" Reni told her. Clarity held Reni closer, a smile on her face.

Reni and Clarity walked into the parking lot, hands intertwined as they looked for the others. Clarity held Reni back, the scent of gasoline hitting her nostrils. The young Hale looked to the bus to see Scott in a puddle of the flammable liquid and Stiles joining him. Reni felt her heart stop at the site of her brother, her lungs causing shallow breaths as she tried to run to him.

"Reni, don't" Clarity wrapped her arms around her waist, holding her back from the scene."No! Let me go! Scott!" Reni screamed trying to get out of Clarity's grip. Reni was kicking and screaming his name into the cold air like it would be her last, Causing Scott to be frightened by his little sister's screams and drop the lit flare.

Reni stomped on Clarity's foot, escaping from her grip. Reni ran close to the fire, her hands raised at the intense heat. She could see something in the flames. "Aqiuuatur!" She screamed, the flames turning to a lilac colour as they died down.

The Darach stood where the fire was, noticing that Reni's eyes weren't purple. They were a magenta colour. The black-cloaked figure left out a deafening scream before disappearing in a blast of fire.

Everyone was breathless at the event. Reni quickly shook her head, running to Scott's side, and pushing Stiles out of the way. "Scott!" She wailed, burying herself into the crook of his neck with fresh hot tears. Scott wrapped his arms around his little sister, still trying to wrap his head around the last few hours.

"You were gonna leave me... you were gonna-hic" She cried while the girls and Stiles were confused at her words. Scott had to gently shush his sister, cradling her in his arms. "I'm not leaving you, I promised remember" He whispered in her ear, hoping that she would believe him.

Reni nodded, still frightened by the sight of her brother almost committing supernatural suicide. "You scared me... I can't lose you Scotty" Reni hiccupped, the feeling of when their father left them becoming so familiar that it felt like yesterday. "You are never gonna lose me Reni, ever" Scott promised her again until she moved her head to look at him in the eyes.

"I love you Scott"

Reni's head rested against Clarity's collarbone, a blanket covering her body as the pair were squeezed tightly on the seat of the school bus. Clarity was awake, her arms above the blanket with her phone in hand.

Any news on my Dad?

She waited for a response for the last ten minutes meaning someone interrupted him.

The sound of the bus doors opening caught her attention. Coach walked in and his face dropped at the sight of the six teenagers asleep. "I don't want to know. I really don't want to know" He sighed, waking the others up. "But, in case you missed the announcement, the meet's cancelled, so we're heading home. Pack it in. Pack it in!" Coach yelled, which caused the werewolves to groan at the volume. Yet Reni stayed asleep on Clarity's body.

Ethan walked up to where Scott sat and also where Clarity and Reni were right across from. The girl growled at him quietly with a dark glare warning him not to be stupid. "I don't know what happened last night, but I'm pretty sure you saved my life" He admitted to Scott. "Actually, I saved your life..." Stiles corrected only to get an annoyed look from the alpha. "...But, not that it matters that much. It's just, it's a minor detail..." He shrugged off, a quick yet very fake smile on his face. "So, I'm going to give you something. We're pretty sure Derek's still alive. But, he killed one of ours. That means one of two things can happen: either he joins our pack..." Ethan stared off, quickly getting interrupted by said alpha's daughter. "And kills his own" She said with poisonous honey dripping off her words.

The alpha rolled his eyes at her, "Or Kali goes after him, and we kill him. That's the way it works". "You know, your little code of ethics there is sort of barbaric, just FYI" Stiles told him with a sarcastic tone as he walked away to sit next to Danny. Clarity felt her phone buzz.

He's alive C...be careful they're suspicious

She let out a sigh of relief, catching Scott and Stiles' attention. "He's alive...my dad's alive" She smiled, resting her chin on Reni's head. Scott and Stiles were taken back at the happiness on Clarity's face. "Sourwolf Jr. knows how to smile?" Stiles questioned causing Clarity to give him the infamous Hale glare. "There she is" He smiled at her cheekily.

Scott watched as Clarity gently calmed his sister as she stirred as the track team was making too much noise. "You really like her" Scott smirked at Clarity, noticing her cheeks go red. He let out a quiet laugh, shaking his head. "Just promise me one thing" Scott looked at her seriously. "Don't hurt her. She deresves the world" Scott smiled, his love for his little sister clearly showing.

 "And so much more" Clarity agreed, smiling down a her bonded.
