Clarity woke to the smell of chocolate. She opened her eyes to see her father holding a paper bag and a cup of delicious coffee from her favourite cafe. "Is this your way of apologising?" Clarity asked as she stood up from the bed. She gave a stretch before feeling a weird tingle on her left arm. An oddly shaped scar was noticeable on her forearm. Clarity made a mental note to inform Milah.
Derek sighed, handing Clarity his apology breakfast. "I know that you're mad" Derek commented, folding his arms. Clarity scoffed at him, her eyes briefly flashing gold. "Mad? You, daddy dearest have a very small dictionary" Clarity commented, seething in her place. "How about... incensed?" Clarity spat at him.
Derek bit the inside of his mouth. He had it coming for sure.
"I waited for you. I waited an entire year! A year Dad! But you didn't come!" Clarity screamed at him, the tips of her fingers twitching with the adrenaline coursing through her veins. "I'm sorry, and I swear I'll make it up to you. But my priority right now is keeping you safe from the alpha pack and finding Boyd" Derek explained to her, walking closer to his daughter.
Clarity gave him the infamous stare, one she learned from him. Derek dropped his head, holding Clarity by her shoulders. "I promise, once we get the alphas out of Beacon Hills, I will never leave you alone again" He told her, the seriousness in his eyes making Clarity falter.
The daughter rolled her eyes before smiling at him. "Fine, but I require new books...and I broke my phone so" Clarity clicked her tongue, reaching out for the apology breakfast. Derek only shook his head at her. "Okay" He gave in, earning a hug and kiss on the cheek from Clarity.
.oOo.
"Wait... so Peter, who was in a vegetable-like state killed Aunt Laura to become the alpha. Then bit Scott, who ended up dating Kate Argent's niece but then Peter killed her too?" Clarity asked, swallowing her chocolate waffles and the information she was receiving. "Yep" Derek answered. "Okay, so you killed Peter, became the alpha, decided to target teenagers with little to no self-esteem to build your pack, accidentally creating a monster controlled by a disturbed teenager, hunters were after it and you were too until Scotty tricked Gerard and some girl saved monster kid?" Clarity summed up, poking her father with her words.
Derek deadpanned at her. "Is this necessary?" He asked her. Clarity only shrugged, "I'm sorry were you left out of the loop for a year?" Clarity tilted her head at Derek. "I have questions since your an alpha now" Clarity pursed her lips before Issac came downstairs. "Scott and Stiles are coming... with a plan" He told Derek, terrified to look at his daughter.
"Stiles? Is that a new breed or something?"
.oOo.
Clarity watched from the spiral staircase as Scott and Stiles walked in with rolls of blue paper, most likely blueprints. "Derek! You home!?" Stiles called out, not noticing Clarity. "You do know we have supernatural hearing right?" She asked him, frightening the human boy.
"Holy shit, it's you. Derek's daughter" Stiles gasped as said girl jumped onto the floor from the railing. "I have a name, and what creature are you?" Clarity asked him, circling the boy. "Human... and your name?" Stiles asked, the usual amount of sarcasm. Clarity smirked at him, her nose scrunching up.
Clarity didn't answer, stating at Stiles as her eyes slowly glowed gold. "Mieczyslaw" Clarity stated, her smirk growing into a huge grin. Stiles took a step back, fear replacing the previously snarky expression he wore. "How the hell did you?" Stiles asked her, looking back and forth between her and Scott.
Clarity only shrugged. "CLARITY!" The girl flinched at the roar of her father. Clarity looked to the left to see him, arms crossed and his glare pointed at her. "I admit to nothing" Clarity shot at him after composing herself. Derek walked over to her, his hand reached out for something. "Give it, now" Derek demanded. Clarity rolled her eyes before reaching up above the top of the stairs to hand him a brown mandela folder.
"Is that my hospital records!" Stiles exclaimed, seeing the hospital logo on the front. Scott was taken back at the girl's boldness. How did she even get Stiles' hospital records anyways? Derek turned to the boys. "You two have a plan or what?" He asked, smelling Stiles fear of his daughter.
.oOo.
"Okay, you see this?" Stiles said pointing to the blueprints laid out on the table. Clarity went back to her spot on the spiral stairs, watching the meeting from above. "This is how they got in—" Stiles pointed to another spot on the blueprint. "—it's a rooftop air conditioning vent, leads down inside into the wall of the vault, which is here. Okay?".
"One of the robbers was lowered into this shaft. Now, that space is so small, it took him about twelve hours to drill into that wall, which is stone, by the way. Then, throughout the rest of the night, they siphoned the cash up to the guys back on the roof through that one little shaft in the wall" He explained the first robbery of the Beacon Hills First National. "Boom!" Stiles finished his little presentation.
Scott folded his arms looking at the blueprints, "Can we fit in there?. "Yes, we can, but very, very barely. And, they also patched the wall, obviously, so we're gonna need a drill of some kind. I'm thinking maybe a diamond-bit..." Stiles explained his idea, not noticing Derek's impatient look.
"Look, forget the drill—" the alpha began before Stiles interrupted. "Sorry?"
"If I go in first, how much space do I have?" Derek asked him with no hesitation. Stiles was flabbergasted, "What do you... What do you think you're gonna do, Derek? You gonna punch through the wall?" He mocked, waving his hands in the air. "Yes, Stiles. I'm gonna punch through the wall" Derek spoke patronisingly at the human.
"Okay. Okay, big guy, let's see it! Let's see that fist. Big old fist. Make it, come on! Get it out there! Don't be scared, big bad wolf!" Stiles challenged the alpha, making Clarity snicker at him. "Yeah, look at that!" Stiles edged Derek on. He held his hand up bringing it closer to the agitated alpha. "Okay, see this? That's maybe three inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid co—".
Much to Clarity's amusement, before Stiles could finish, Derek punched his hand to hard the girl swore she heard his bones shake out of place. "Yes!" Clarity exclaimed, jumping slightly while remaining on the stairs. "Can I go next?" She asked with a bright smile on her face. Stiles, still in pain, somehow gained more at her request.
"I'll get through the wall. Who's following me?" Derek sighed at the interaction. Clarity raised her hand slowly before Derek gave her a look. "Put your hand down Clarity" He told her. Clarity poured and crossed her arms. "Just wait you'll need me" She muttered while glaring at her father. "Don't look at me! I'm not up to fighting speed, yet. And honestly, with Isaac out of commission, you're not looking at very good odds for yourself" Peter scoffed at the boys.
"So, I'm supposed to just let them die?" Derek asked his uncle. "One of them already is dead" Peter pointed out with zero empathy. "We don't know that!" Derek shouted at the man. "Uhh, actually we—I do" Clarity spoke up, her voice quiet and soft. Derek made a 180 at his daughter's statement. "Clarity, what do you mean?" Scott asked the girl.
Clarity bit her lip and took a deep breath. "When I was in the ice bath I saw Boyd and a girl with brown hair. Erica is blonde. And... there was blood on the floor. It must have been Erica's" Clarity explained to her father. "But you said and I quote 'I saw her she's alive' when you came out" Stiles pointed out clearly confused.
Footsteps stopped Clarity from answering. Milah walked through the doors. "She was talking about my protégée, not Erica" Milah announced. She wore a black turtle neck paired with low waist jeans with her hair in mambo twist crochet braids that went from her natural colour to silver. She wore simple black wedges that made her taller. Her hair went just below her back and was tied in the middle with a single hair tie.
Peter was taken back by the protector's beauty. "Milah you look stunning" He commented, only gaining a disgusted look from the woman. "My protégée is special, beyond what most protectors are. That is why the alphas want her, to turn her so she only follows them" Milah explained, beckoning Clarity to her side.
Derek was confused as to why Clarity was the one to find her. "Not to mention, she is bound to Clarity" Milah added, looking at the alpha with no fear. "Bound? Like a leash?" Stiles spoke, breaking the silence. "It's an ancient bond that unties two or more werewolves and or protectors" Peter explained, giving Milah a cheeky smirk.
"Yes, it has become rare when the packs of ancient times split from their true nature" Milah added before having Clarity show her marking. It was a simple sun, just a circle in black with the rays only simple triangles. "This is why we need to find all three of the people the alphas took. Because if Clarity doesn't find her bounded, she will not survive the next full moon" Milah warned them, but her focus was on Derek the entire time.
Peter, however let out a noise of shock. "Do I have to remind you what we're up against here? A pack of Alphas, all of them killers. And, if that's not enough to scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them combine bodies to form one giant Alpha" He exclaimed. Trying to stop them from getting killed in his own narcissistic way.
Milah flicked her wrist at him, causing the man to drop to his knees in pain. "Need I remind you, Peter Hale, that if we do not save them from the alphas, they will turn my student and then will come for Clarity who will be forced to kill her father. Now I don't know about you, but I came back to this town to protect what was left of our pack and that includes Boyd" Milah growled at the man, shifting into her werewolf form with glowing lilac eyes.
Peter nodded before Milah released her grip from him, allowing the man to breathe, unfortunately. "Clarity, get the brown leather bag in my car. You know it when you smell it" Milah asked the young wolf.
Once she was gone, Milah looked directly at Derek. "She needs to go with you Derek" Milah told him. Derek however didn't want to listen. "No she's just a kid, I'm not having her anywhere near them" Derek stated with a growl in his voice. Milah only nodded as if she was gonna hit something. "Yes and when she dies, who the hell do you think is gonna find out? If Clarity does not reestablish the bond, the alphas will be like as small as an ant compared to them" Milah warned him.
While Peter, Issac, Scott and Stiles remained clueless to whoever the woman was on about, Derek had become scared. He turned to the windows behind him as her words echoes in his head.
'No one can know who or what she is until the time is right'
Derek took a deep breath before giving in. "Fine, but the moment she find your protégée, they both need to leave" Derek stated making sure that Milah understood.

Kali dragged Reni by her shoulder, her claws gripping into her flesh like paper. Reni then was thrown into the vault-like she weighed nothing. Thankfully, Boyd caught her before she hit the ground. "Thank you" Reni smiled at the werewolf. Boyd set her down, noticing the blood trickle from her leg.
"What did they do this time?" He asked her, tearing a piece of his pants to cover up her wound. He had noticed after a month of her being here, she didn't heal fast like him anymore but at the human rate. "I honestly don't know, they wanted to try and bite me but every time one did, it was like poison to them. Again" Reni explained, wincing when Boyd tightened the fabric. "Thanks" She muttered before seeing the sunset in the small window they had.
"I think I know why you guys haven't shifted" Reni stated, her hands brushing against the wall. Boyd and the other girl, Cora perked up at Reni's words. "There's this stone, Hecatolite. In its raw form, it's a magmatic rock. It can scatter moonlight as far as I can recall. Maybe that's why you two haven't lost control, you can't absorb the moonlight properly" Reni explained, watching as the full moon slowly rose from its slumber.
Reni looked back at the Betas with scared eyes, the moonlight shining in them. "They want you to kill Derek"

Clarity fell right next to the wall blocking away the vault of the abandoned bank. With all the strength she could muster, Clarity slammed her ist. "Come on!" She groaned before another fist punched the wall next to her. Together Derek and Clarity punched their way into the vault with Scott McCall right behind them.
Clarity ignored the phone ringing as she stepped into the vault. "Clarity? Are you really there". Clarity watched as she came out of the shadows. Clarity practically jumped to her, wrapping her arms around her. "Reni, thank god you're alive" Clarity almost sobbed as Reni helped her tighter. "You're here, you came" Reni sobbed, she never thought she'd see her again.
"Serenity? Is that you?" Scott asked from behind Clarity. The girls parted as Reni stood to the side. "Scotty. It's true... you're a... werewolf" Reni gasped gently before his phone rang again. Reni noticed a woman behind the older man who must have been Derek, Clarity's dad.
That's when Boyd took her by her shoulder and pushed her back behind him. "Boyd what are you doing?" Reni hissed before Cora stepped out of the darkness. But she stayed behind Boyd, not being seen.
"Boyd?" Derek spoke calmly, pushing Clarity behind him much to her dismay. "Boyd, it's me. It's Derek" He continued, stepping closer to his beta as he growled at the alpha. Scott however was dealing with Stiles over the phone. "Stiles, now is not the best time..." Scott warned him, seeing how unstable Boyd looked. "What does that mean?" Scott asked Stiles over the phone.
Reni closed her eyes, raising her hands up as a dark purple mist fell from her veins and travelled up her arms. "Aspida" Reni whispered, opening her eyes to reveal a dark plum purple colour to them and not brown. Slowly a barrier sat in the gap between Scott, Derek and Clarity and the unstable betas.
Scott looked to Derek with wide eyes, "Derek... we got a problem. A really big problem" He told him, but the alpha looked at the mystery girl in shock. "Cora?" He asked, stunned at the girl in front of him. "Who?" Clarity and Scott questioned. "Cora, stay back!" Reni called before a bullet passed through her barrier, hitting her shoulder. Reni fell to the ground as her barrier fell.
Cora growled at her older brother, her eyes ablaze of gold, "Derek... get out. Get out now!" Cora warned him as the woman Reni saw sprinkled mountain ash on the floor, closing the circle made by her earlier. While Derek dealt with his beta and sister, Clarity was able to sneak over to Reni.
She held her in her arms, smiling down at her bonded. "Ren, do you remember the incantation?" Clarity asked, brushing her hair out of her face. " Of course I do, you're my best friend Clar" Reni smiled at her, not knowing it made the werewolf's heart hurt for her to say that.
She gently took the bullet out of Reni's shoulder before propping her up against the wall as her father tried to reason with Cora. "You ready?" Clarity asked, earning a nod from Reni.
"Afíste tis psychés mas na enothoún kathós i pansélinos anatéllei káthe vrády kai o kýklos synechízetai méchri tin pnoí zoís" they both chanted, their eyes glowing purple as their foreheads touched. While Clarity's sun marking glowed on her left wrist, a simple crest moon marking glowed on Reni's right wrist.
With her strength back and the mountain ash barrier broken, Reni stood up before raising her hand. "Stay back!" She warned them. "Ekrageí" Reni spoke with confidence before blowing a bigger hole in the side of the wall to her right, allowing the group to leave without the alphas' intervention.
"Let's go"
