Ira's pov -

When I fell asleep I don't know but I heard the sound of crying so I got up and saw someone holding Mum and crying then I looked at Aayu. Her eyes are saying it's Iba Aunty. I can understand her state. So, I got close to her and put my hand on her back. She thought Aayu was Mum's daughter. That means Aayu brings her here and her concern for Mum is exactly like mine. That's why Aunty may think that. Which is really sweet. Then Aunty hugged me and said, "Nice to meet you, Ira."

"Same to you Aunty. How is your health ??" I asked.

"I am fine. Why are you looking so pale ??" Aunty asked. At this time Sana enters and asks, "You get up !!! How are you feeling now, Ira ??"

"Hmm okay," I replied.

"What happened to you ??" Aunty asked.

"Nothing Aunty, it's my regular routine now. Don't worry." I said then I asked Sana, "How is Mum ?? Can we take her home ???"

"Mmmmm. Yeah, you can but take an oxygen cylinder also. Aunty will need this anytime. Now I am opening the nasal cannula. Let's wait for half an hour then I will permit you to take her home. Her fever is under control. Now she needs new medicine also. Okay ??" Sana said.

"Hmm okay. Please tell me everything I am coming with you. Let them talk." I said. Sana nodded.

"You !!!" I saw another girl at the cabin.

"My daughter Iqra," Aunty said.

"Oh, nice to meet you. Why are you standing there ??? Come meet with Mum." I said.

"I am coming with you," Aayu said and I nodded.

"You both go to my cabin, I am coming by check on Aunty," Sana said. Then Aayu and I both went outside. Aayu instantly held my hand and asked, "How are you feeling now ??"

"Little dizziness is there and breathing has also been a little disturbed but I am fine. I can handle it. Sorry, I wasn't with you when you went to search for Iba Aunty." I said and Aayu wrapped her arm around my shoulder; we both were walking.

"That's absolutely fine. I go or you go the same thing. Are you sure you are fine ???" Aayu asked again.

"Yeah yeah, I am fine, don't worry." Then I open the top button of my shirt as I am feeling suffocated.

"Hey, what happened ?? Are you okay ???" Aayu asked and started massaging my chest. We entered Sana's cabin then I said, "Mum is going to die Aayu. There will be no hope to meet her again. How will I survive ???" Tears are rolling from my eyes.

"We have to accept the reality Iru. Please hold yourself. Nobody can stay in this world for long. We have to leave before or after. Please be strong. Look at you Iru, you are not looking good. Please be strong for me." Aayu is saying and she is also crying.

"I am trying to be strong but I am failing in it. The thought that mum is going to leave me forever, I am just being so restless." I am saying and Aayu makes me sit on the sofa at Sana's cabin. As I am breathing heavily, she is still massaging my back and chest. Sana entered and when she saw my state, she held me immediately and said, "Please Ira be strong. I tried my best to find a way but it's not working. If you will be like this Aunty will break also."

I just hugged Sana and said, "Mum is going to die Sana. All of these practicalities are fading away from my mind. I am trying to be practical but I can't. I want my Mum only, nothing else. Please do something, Sana, please." Sana breaks our hug and says, "I am talking with every possible person who can help us. But not getting any better response Ira. I am trying my best."

"I know," I said. Then Aayu said, "What can we do with her breathing issue ??!!!"

"I am giving her an inhaler. It will help her." Then Sana tells me all the instructions about Mum. I and Aayu all get those. Then Sana said, "Let's go and see how Aunty is. Please follow my instructions and try to keep her happy." We nodded, then headed our way to Mum's cabin. Aayu is still holding me. When we enter the cabin, we all are surprised. Mum is sitting and laughing with Iba Aunty and Iqra. We three also smile upon seeing this.

"You can take her home but follow my instructions. If she needs anything else I am just a knock away." Sana said and I nodded.

Then Aayu brings a wheelchair. I helped Mum to sit on it. Aayu intends to push, but I stop her as she is forbidden to carry weight for 1 month. We sat in the car and I started driving. Mum is looking so happy. Which makes me so happy. Thanks, Aayu for bringing Iba Aunty here.

We reached home. Iqra and I take Mum to her room. After 15 minutes we were talking. Iqra said, "Mom, please stay with Aunty, I am going home."

"You can stay with us," I said.

"Thanks but there is lots of work to do. I will be back at night to meet with you. Okay ??" She said to me, Aunty hugged her and said, "Take care."

"You too," Iqra replied and intended to leave. I also get up with her.

"Hey, can you drive ??" I asked after we left the room.

"Yeah, I can, why ??" She asked.

"Then take a car from here as you said you will come at night. That will be safe." I insisted.

"Thanks but not needed. I can manage." She replied.

"Yeah I know you can but for Aunty, you need to be careful Iqra. Please take one." I again insisted.

"Okay okay. I am taking it." She agreed and I became happy.

"What is the work ??? If I may know ????" I asked and we walked to the garage.

"I am searching for a job, I mean I just completed my internship. I completed my MBBS. Now I wanna join as a Medical Officer. I need to do the practice." Iqra said.

"If you want I can talk with Sana about this," I said.

"Thanks but I have applied at several hospitals. Let's see what happened there. If nothing runs, I will inform you. Thanks once again." She replied to me.

"You are most welcome. Okay, you go. Let's meet at night. You take this one." I gave her the key to the car then she left. I went back to my room. I sit beside Mum. Iba Aunty is sitting on the other side of Mum.

"Please try to sleep, Mum. You will feel better." I said.

"How are you now ???" Mum asked.

"Hmm fine," I replied. Mum kisses my head then she sits. I also sat in front of her.

Then Mum held my face with both of her hands and said, "I am so sorry that I am leaving you here. I left you at your age 7 and now I am doing the same. At that time the separation was unwanted and now is the same. You have to be strong, cutie. Do you know how I felt in the morning when you were unable to breathe ?? I want a strong baby. Look at Aayu, she is tense because of us. You have to be strong for her. Okay ???" Then Mum starts kissing my forehead, my eyes, and my cheeks then she takes me to her lap and continues, "I love you and I know how much you love me. Let's enjoy the moment when I am with you. These sweet memories will be your capital cutie."

Then Mum again puts a kiss on my forehead. "Promise me that you will be okay."

"I promise," I said. We both are crying. Aayu holds me from the backside.

I promise I will never hurt Aayu like you never hurt Iba Aunty.

I promise everything.
