Ira's pov -

Mum loves someone and got separated from her. Hmm, I need to search for her now. Mum gives me the details of Iba Aunty and I provide these to my private detective. He assured me to find her as soon as possible.

Mum is looking so happy. Then I said, "You do chit-chat, I am coming after freshening up."

When I come back after freshening up, I see Aayu lying down on Mum's lap. A smile creates on my lip. They are really close to each other. Well, the common thing they share is that they both love me unconditionally. So, of course, they will get closer.

"You also come here," Aayu calls me. I get closer and lie down on Aayu's tummy. Mum again starts with my childhood habit and Aayu is enjoying it. They both are the same. At least they should've understood that I was blushing.

"Mum, please. Don't reveal more. You know her. She will tease me later." I am trying to stop them. But they start laughing louder.

"Baby, did I ever tease you? No, right? I would prefer to kiss you rather than tease you." Aayu is so cute now. We all are smiling together.

Servants were working then we heard the sound of a doorbell. I went downstairs. It's Uncle and Aunty. I hug them then they ask where Mum is. I lead them to our room. We three are standing. Mum and Aayu are gossiping about something and laughing.

Mum pulls Aayu's nose. I am also smiling when I see something like this. But Uncle and Aunty looked shocked. So I said, "What are you gossiping about without me ??" Both of them looked surprised when they saw Uncle and Aunty.

Uncle asked, "How are you, ma'am ?"

"I am fine. It's Amira. Don't need to be so formal with me. How are you both ?" Mum asked.

"We are also fine," Aunty replied.

I am so happy today.

I always wanted this kind of environment, a full family. But I never got this. Aayu holds my hand. I look at her, tears are blurring my vision. Aayu said, "Don't be so emotional, baby. You deserve this." Then she gives me a smile. I smiled back at her.

We had lunch together. Then Uncle and Aunty left with Aayu.

Mum said, "Missing Aayu ??"

"No, she just left. I am happy that you are with me." I said. Then the interior designer team came. We show them the color and other designs. They start their work. They take time till night.

Mum is pleased.

Days are passing.

Sana starts treating Mum. I take Mum to the office daily with me. It's 15 days after Aayu's operation day. We all are at the hospital to do a few tests on Aayu. They are at a board meeting about reports. Sana comes out and says all reports are fine. But Aayu needs to be careful about her health. At least, with the injured area. It's so weak. We all nodded.

We all are happy.

Then I drop Aayu, Uncle, and Aunty at home after that me and mum return to our home.

The next morning as usual I get up but Mum is still sleeping. I didn't call her. After I return from the washroom Mum is still sleeping. This usually does not happen, Mum always gets up earlier than me. So I get closer to her then sit beside her and touch her cheek to call but she has a high fever much higher than usual. I start patting Mum's cheek but she is not responding. What should I do ???!!! My hands are shivering. What to do ??? I take my phone to call but I am unable to dial because of a shiver. As to how I dialed Aayu. She received instantly,

Aayu: Hello honey. Good morning.

Me: Aa-- Aa-- Aayu... Mum. Mum is not waking up, please do something. I am not getting what to do.

(I couldn't say more, all the emotion is showing in my voice, and I start crying loudly.)

Aayu: Please be strong. I am calling Sana and coming to you. Or please do one thing, call any staff and take Mum to the hospital directly. I am reaching there directly.

Me: Okay doing. Please call Sana.

Aayu: Okay bye.

Then I hung up. I called the staff, they helped me to take Mum by car.

When I reached the hospital, Sana was standing at the gate with all arrangements.

All of them take Mum in.

Aayu reaches the hospital a little later. I was standing outside of the cabin. When I see her, I run to her and hug her. She said, "Don't worry, Mum will be fine."

She is holding me, we are waiting outside of the cabin.

Sana came out after half an hour and what she said was like a thunderstorm for me. She said, "I am so sorry Ira but Aunty is not okay. You please do what she wants."

"How much time does she have ??" I am asking and crying.

"I won't lie but a maximum of 15 days." Sana's reply was like pulling land from my legs. I sat on the floor. Aayu is holding me.

"I just got her to me and I am going to lose her. Why ??????? I won't be able to survive Aayu. Please do something, Sana. Mum is gonna d..." I couldn't say more, just stop.

"You have to be strong, Ira. You have to be the strength of Aunty. Please hold yourself." Sana said and Aayu is still holding me.

"Can I see Mum?" I asked.

"Not now. She is not in a sense yet. I will call you." Sana said.

"Aayu, we need to find Iba Aunty," I said. She nods.

I said nothing.

..........

I am going to lose my mum.

Again.

And this time forever.

I won't be able to see her ever again.

All the hope will be faded away to get Mum to me.
