Aayana's pov-

I take Ira on my lap. Her fever increased more. I am so tense. She is almost senseless. She is just opening her eyes and closing. But whenever she is opening her eyes she is giving me a smile. Then I uncovered the upper part of her body as she gave me that permission and put a wet towel on her chest.

But as her fever is high so towels get hot so fast then I bring another towel to keep her body cold. At this time she holds my hand and said in a lower voice,

"Please don't catch so much water then you will catch a cold. I don't want you to get unwell."

Then I realized her hand is so cold !!! I am shocked that she has such a high fever then why her hand is so cold? Immediately I call Sana,

Sana: Hello, Aayana. How is Ira now?

Aayana: Sana, Ira's hands are too cold. But her fever is so high. Why?

Sana: Damn. Aayana please touch her leg, and check how her legs are.

Aayana: Her legs are also cold. But why?

Sana: Check her pulse.

Aayana: Too low.

Sana: I am coming. Till then you do one thing, try to increase the temperature of the hand and leg a little higher.

Aayana: Why is this happening?

Sana: Maybe her heart is getting blocked due to less blood circulation or a virus attack. I have to check on her. Check how she is breathing.

Aayana: That is also low. And she is not fully conscious.

Sana: Don't worry. I'm coming. But it will take at least 1 hour for me to reach.

Aayana: Hmm. Is there anything I can do now?

Sana: Keep massaging her hands and legs. And open all the windows that will help her to breathe easily. Did you give her the medicine?

Aayana: No, you told me to give that after 1 hour at our last conversation. So, there are 30 minutes left.

Sana: Do one thing give her that right now. We should not wait for more. I am coming with oxygen and other equipment.

Aayana: Okay. Please come soon. Bye.

Sana: Bye.

After the phone conversation, I got close to Ira and asked, "Where are your socks ?"

"At the first part of the cupboard's left side upper drawer." On her reply, I rushed to her dressing room. Luckily I found it so fast and she has hand gloves and socks at the same place. Then I took those and ran to her.

When I reached her, I saw she was trying to get up. Then I ask by holding her,

"Do you need something ?"

"Water." In her reply, I took a glass and gave her the medicine too. Then I started massaging her hand and then I put hand gloves on her hand. Then I massage her leg and put socks on. After that, I put a quilt on her leg and then again changed the wet towels.

After almost half an hour her temperature gets a little low. Then I take the thermometer to check and thankfully it is 101 degrees Fahrenheit. So, I checked her pulse which is also normal now and the temperature of her hand and leg is higher than before.

Thank God. She is stable now.

So, I called Sana,

Sana: Yeah Aayana. I am on my way.

Aayana: Don't worry. Ira's temperature is lower than before and her hands, and legs are also better than before. And yeah her pulse is stable now.

Sana: Great. Thank God and thanks to you.

Aayana: Please, you don't need to thank me.

Sana: Yeah that's also true. Okay, I am coming to check on her. I will be there within 25-30 minutes.

Aayana: Okay please come. Bye.

Sana: Bye.

Ira's eyes are closing now but when I touch her she opens her eyes and said,

"I'm fine, don't worry and I'm so sorry to give you such pressure."

"You are fine, that is enough for me. And as you told me not to say thanks; like that, I'm telling you that don't say sorry to me. And what is pressure? I love you. If I was at your place, I know you were doing more than what I do." I replied.

"Why so comparison ?" She asked.

"For you," I replied.

"Okay," She admitted.

"Now lemme put clothes on the upper part of your body as Sana is coming, that's why I told you," I said.

"Okay." She replied.

Then I take her on my lap and put her head on my chest and put her clothes properly and said,

"Done" She gave me a smile. I get relief when I see her smile.

Then I hug her and she hugs me back and said,

"I am fine. Where is Sana ?"

"She will be here within 15 minutes." By saying that I kiss at her forehead and said,

"You please take a rest. Don't need to do anything for me, at least not now. I know you love me, you don't need to show me that, honey."

"Hmm, I know that but sometimes you need to show your love sweetheart." By saying that she holds me tightly. In this way, she never hugged me before.

"Are you okay ??" I asked.

"Hmm. Just a little nervous." She replied.

"Why ?" I asked.

"I can't afford to lose you. I am scared of that." She replied.

"I can understand your feelings and I have the same feelings but now please get well soon. We will see the further incidence, when what happens." I said.

"Of course, I will be fine. After all, you are taking care of me with so much love." By saying that she puts a kiss on my cheek.

I also kiss at her cheek and said,

"I love your dimple."

"I love everything of yours." She replied and smiled.

"Hey, that is the same from my side." Then I hold her to me.

I will take care of you, always my love.

I can't see you like this what I just experienced.
