Ira's POV -

Aayu is sleeping, I gently move my legs and take her face closer to my chest by lying down. She is indeed so tired. Then I checked the date today, and her period date is closer. Shit, now she will have another level of mood swings. I smile at my thoughts. Suddenly, she makes a face in pain and awakens.

"What's wrong?" I asked her immediately.

"I am having back pain." My baby is really having a tough time.

"Let me warm the hot water bag." I intend to get up but she stops me.

"No need now. It will be fine." Her eyes are showing like she is hiding something.

"Take off your shirt." I sound as if I am commanding.

"What! Why?" Now, I am damn sure that it's not for overwork pain. She is definitely hiding something.

"I asked to take off. So, you should do that." I sit up.

"Baby, I am too sleepy for romance." Though she tries to smile, I clench my jaw.

"Will you or not?" I grab her shirt and she groans louder. My heart aches at her state. "Baby, what's wrong?" My eyes are teary for sure.

"Hey, Love. I am fine. Okay, I hurt my back yesterday. That's why I am not going to the office today. Work from home." She winks, "After all, I am the girlfriend of the CEO Ira Khan." She takes my face into her chest.

"But how did you get hurt?" She is wiping out my tears.

"Well, that's funny. I slipped on the stairs." I was shocked at her reason.

"How did you slip? And did you get hurt anywhere else? You should do an x-ray, baby." She pouts at me.

"Daily many people are slipping. If everyone starts doing X-rays then the lab people will become insane." She starts laughing and I ask her to open her shirt. Like a good girl, she takes it off.

It turned purple now. More than 4 inches of bruises and peeled skin as well. "This is why you didn't come only in a bra to me last night. Am I right?" She is guilty now. I should stop interrogating, "Wait, I am bringing the first aid box." I intend to leave the bed and she holds my hand.

"I applied ointment, baby. I mean, Iqra did last night. After the shower, you can apply. No need for now." I raise my eyebrows at her.

"You let her do that. I can't believe it." I know I am sounding jealous and really I am.

"She is a doctor, baby." And her justification started.

"Still, I don't know but I didn't like it." I really didn't. Though I never behave like this.

"Baby, what's wrong? You never react this way." She cups my face but I shrug.

"No more work, nothing else. Just rest. I will resume work. Now sleep. And don't hide anything from me. I really don't like that." I don't know what's wrong with me but I can't take it when she goes to anyone else without me. I get down from the bed. She grabs my hand immediately.

"Baby, I am so sorry. I won't hide anything again. Please forgive me." And she is already sobbing. Damn. What did I do? I pull her into a hug.

"I am sorry, love. I overreacted. Please don't cry." She is really crying now.

"You never get upset like this." She sits on the bed and wipes out her tears. I am so guilty right now. She didn't want to give me tension and I yelled at her.

I hold my ear with my left hand. "I will never repeat this baby. But don't go to anyone else." I still manage to be bossy. She looks at me with a puppy face.

"You know what I thought I was a jealous freak but you are so high." And she laughs out.

"Aah, thank God. I assumed that you were going to slap my butt." I sit on the bed but it's true I shouldn't behave like that. I pull her to me and put a kiss on her lips.

"I will surely do that but at first you get fine." She winks and we lie down together. I am roaming my hand on her head and it takes just a few minutes for her to sleep. I silently get up from the bed.

I put a hot water bag in charge and took my phone to order something. I need to make up my reaction. I put the water bag on her back and then tucked her into the blanket after adjusting the AC's temperature.

I take my phone and order a bunch of white lilies with a giant-sized teddy bear. Now, it's time for lunch. After placing the order with my girl's favorite food items, I entered Iqra's room to inform her not to cook lunch.

And the view is surprising, Sana is inklessly looking at Iqra's pic. "Why don't you confess already?" I ask her and she is startled at my sudden entry.

"What to confess?" She is surprised.

"Whatever you have in your heart. Anyway, where is Iqra? Please, tell her that I ordered lunch from outside. She doesn't need to cook." And Sana is with her gummy smile.

"Please order a lot of beef." She is giving me a happy kid vibe.

"No meat. I am ordering only my girl's favorite food. So, mostly chicken." I intend to leave and Iqra is here.

"It's okay, Sana. I will cook beef for you." Iqra's offer makes me frown.

"She is 33+. Think about her health. And look at her, if she doesn't control her diet then she will live with a tummy." Sana holds her breath to look slim. Iqra and I are laughing at her.

"Don't worry, I will check her diet." Iqra puts her hand on Sana's shoulder.

I smirk, "Okay do whatever. I am going to the living room. I will get a parcel, I need to make up something. I yelled at my girl." I lower my gaze.

"What! You yelled at Aayana. Why?" Iqra is shocked.

"She fell yesterday and hid that from me. I got upset for a while." I am standing with a lower gaze.

Sana reacts like Aayu's sister. "Are you nuts? Aayana is worried about you all the time. She left her parents. Single Handedly, she is handling everything. Your health, your work, and whatnot. She didn't want to give you tension, that's the reason she didn't tell you about that, Ira. How can you be so ungenerous? She loves you a lot, that doesn't mean you will disrespect her due to silly reasons." The guilt inside me takes a splashing wave. Iqra holds me and I wipe out my tears, Sana is right.

"It's okay, between couples it's normal to have a small fight. Don't take it to heart." Iqra is trying to console me but I come out of her room silently.

Once the parcel comes, I return to our room. Aayu is still sleeping. I put the teddy and flower by her side and sat on the bed's edge. It's better if she gets a sound sleep.

After half an hour, Aayu moves and she opens her eyes with a wide smile. "Why are you sitting there, baby? Come here."

"I am so sorry, love." And then I realize my voice is cracked.

She immediately comes to me and cups my face. "Hey, what's wrong? What happened, tell me?" She is wiping out my tears.

"I am sorry for yelling at you, Sana--" I sobbed.

"Sana! What happened to her?" She needs clarification.

"She called me ungenerous. You are doing everything for me yet I am being a jerk. I yelled at you. Even you cried for me. I promised your Dad that I would keep you happy. Here, see. I am hurting you." I am guiltier after Sana's bash on me.

"Now, enough is enough. Do you want me to block Sana?" I knit my brows at her.

"What do you mean?" I am surprised at her statement.

"I mean I am going to scold her badly. How dare she call my girl ungenerous? Moreover, why did you tell her everything, huh? It's our personal matter. I hide something from you and you freak out which is absolutely fine. I also pushed you which caused your head to get hurt. Do you remember that?" I start thinking, I can't recall anything like that.

"When did this happen?" She pulls my nose when I ask her. "Ouch." I groan and she pulls me into a warm embrace.

"When you hide Riad and Sunny's threats. In our other home, Soul. Can you remember now?" She knocks on my forehead.

"Ouch, baby. You could kiss me instead. And yeah, I remember. That's past and you didn't do that intentionally." I drop a kiss on her chest.

"That's my point, baby. It's natural to get hurt when your love doesn't come to you for something important. It's our personal matter and you solved it before I slept. Now forget everything. You already stressed out my girl a lot. Come, give me a hug." She holds my face on her chest.

As she is only in a bra, I drop a kiss on her cleavage. My vocal cord expresses, "I love you." She puts a kiss on my head.

After making her sit on the bed, I slowly trail down her bra's strip after holding it through my teeth and trace my lips on her shoulder to her collarbone. She grabs my hair and I use my tongue to slide on her neckline which makes her helpless to release a moan and I grip her nape gently to play around on her neck on the rhythm of her tuning moans.
