Today we celebrate Diwali - The festival of lights in India. It is one of the biggest and most beautiful festival.
 
Though there are many different stories about how the tradition of celebrating diwali started , every story symbolises victory of good over evil.

Today is the day that symbolises the good and virtuous shall always triumph over the evil and spiteful. That within each ourselves, our best, virtuous self will defeat the impulses of ego and tyranny.
It is celebrated to mark victory of light over darkness.
