Kongpob

Rubbing his eyes Kong woke up, his lips were parched, sliding out of his bed he half opened his eyes instantly squinting them to adjust to the brightness of the room. Peeking open his eyes to a sliver he slowly adjusted his pupils to bright light filtering in the room,moving his eyes around the room  he found Arthit awake . The said male was bent over his notes, brows furrowed, cap of pen lightly held between corner of his lips while his eyes stared at the notes. An empty bottle of pink milk was kept at corner of table while few wrappers of chocolate bars were thrown near Arthit's leg while two were still kept unopened beside the book. 

Turning his neck, Kong took a quick glance at the clock kept on his bedside table.It displayed 2 AM. Seriously? Is he going to  pull an all nighter or what? Kong walked to the mini fridge kept in the corner and took out a water bottle.  Taking few sips he walked up to Arthit who was still unaware of the footsteps approaching him.

This exam is the first time Kong had seen Arthit so deeply immersed in some thing that too  study. Though it is exam time and it is natural trying to maintain a deep focus, Kong was sure that's how Arthit study - forgetting the world around him. Beacuse in normal thing Arthit had attention span of a child, even less and if that would be enough for his grades then Kong would had have to worry. This sight of engrossed Arthit made him realise there were still many things he didn't know about his faen and vice versa.

There was still matter of his revenge goal and family history  that he needed to tell arthit. Surely he was not planning a murder of Thaksirat or something but half of the stuff he did or more accurately he masterminds is nowhere even near to legal and he is aware of that. He plans to tell Arthit though in very near future, actually in less than a week if fate allows so. Last time he had planned to take Arthit to his family home on his birthday and then tell him everything but then his mom visited and at the end of the day there was no time left to make a 3 hour drive back and forth and still attend school next day. But he is determine to find time after Arthit,s exam and tell him everything. 

Walking up to his boyfriend, he put a hand on his shoulder who instantly got startled and turned his neck towards him, seeing Kong standing near him with water bottle Arthit sighed
" Oh Kong, it's you! " exclaimed Arthit.

"Who were you expecting ? There are only two of us in the room and it's locked, ofcourse it will only be me. "

" Isn't necessary." Arthit retorted.

" How so ? "

Arthit looked at him with blank expression but kept his mouth shut . Sighing Kong put a hand on his boyfriend's shoulder, mustering a grave look of seriousness on his face, he addressed his boyfriend

" Arthit khrap if it's third entity, other than you and me, they call your names three times na Khrap. You just don't answer "

Arthit stared blank at him for few seconds before bursting in anger
" What the hell Ai Kong ? It's 2 AM. Do you wanna give me heart attack or something? Just go to bed"

Kong guffawed at his outburst , " Okay, Okay.  Sorry na khrap. "

Moving his chair to face him, Arthit glided his hands on his chest
" Not satisfied " he said in his hazer voice.

Kong did a sit-up " Sorry na Ai oon. "

" Five more Kongpob and do proper full sit ups not these half squats. Don't they teach you anything at your department ? "  Arthit barked.

Kong chuckled at Arthit's antics.

Arthit was in full hazer mode, rolling his notes in a cylinder he gently hit his boyfriend's shoulder with it.

" Student ID 0062 Kongpob Suthiluck, Five full sit ups , now . Go. "

Kong sat on his knees, placing one hand on armrest of the chair, he placed other hand with his palm open on his lover's thigh  , Kong peeked at him from under his lashes

" Phi Arthit, It's too much na Khrap. Nong can't do it . Can't you change it to something easy..... na khraaap. " Kong pleaded, intentionally sliding his hands placed on Arthit's knee upwards in a slow motion and finally halting his journey mid thigh.

Peering down at Kongpob, Arthit kept his expressions blank " I don't change my punishments Nong Kongpob" he declared in stern voice " but because it's you, Phi can be swayed with a kiss on cheek. "

Kongpob gave him a knowing look, encasing Arthit's face in his palms, he brought it towards him and placed a gentle peck on his cheek, innocent and chaste.     
                                                                                   " Four sit-ups " Arthit declared.

Mischief shone in Arthit's eyes reflected perfectly in Kongpob's who kissed both eyelids of his boyfriend one by one
" now Khrap ? " he asked in small hesitating voice, his voice in stark contrast of pure glint of playfulness shining in his eyes.

" Stand up" Arthit ordered, Kong obediently raised up to his full height.

" Student ID - 0062, you still have two sit-ups to do." After declaration of his punishment, the hazer instantly pulled his roommate in his lap.

Kissing the tip of his nose, Kong rubbed his nose affectionately in an eskimo kiss.
" One " Arthit giggled, rubbing tip of their noses.

Looping his hand around Arthit's neck Kong shifted himself to plant a kiss on his forehead 
" You are redeemed of your sins Kongpob Suthiluck " Arthit declared in all seriousness.

Kongpob chuckled " Thank you so much your highness. Now, let's go to bed.  You need at least six hours sleep ,its 2 already. You have an exam to take at 10:00 na Khrap."

Arthit frowned, "Mood killer .  I will just revise these last two pages and then sleep, one week I spent half dreaming and half wallowing in fear of getting dumped,  costed me big."

Kongpob removed his arms looped around Arthit's neck and stood up
" Like all your exam till now this last exam of yours will be a blast too. You will nail it. Don't worry "

" Kop chai maak na. Now, you sleep  I have this to revise" Arthit pointed at his notes.

" How about instead of straining your eyes right now, you sleep for four hours and I'll wake you up at six for your revision ?"

Arthit shook his head denying the offer
"You sleep,  I'll just need fifteen minutes on this. Why postpone things that can be done at presesnt? and you and I both know its not easy to wake me up at morning." 

Kong sighed " Arthit don't  be too hard on yourself."

Arthit clucked his tongue " Nah. I'm not. I'll just take a ten minute break and then revise this. By the way mom was asking you to come home after your exam. Probably dad wants to meet you"

Kong gaped hearing the information
"You told your dad, already?"

"Nah, but I'm sure mom did. Or atleast gave him an idea of sorts."

Kong took a deep breath to calm his suddenly overworking nerves then heaved a long sigh
"I think I'm the only lucky guy in the world who met his mother in law within twenty four hours. And now , will meet father in law within one month of his relationship. "

Arthit smirked
" Mother in law huh? Did you already think about marrying me ?"

Kong blanched , he didn't mean to blurt this out loud. May be he is just latching on the only source of selfless love in his life but he indeed think of Arthit as his life partner , sure and unapologetic .

Averting direct eye contact, Kong stated, voice barely audible "Yes, I have thought about marrying you someday. Is this too fast? "

Arthit smiled seeing his otherwise cofident boyfriend being a nervous mess
" By normal standards, yeah it's too fast. For us, no. Because I'm guilty of having same thoughts too Kongpob."

Kong smiled in relief
" Let's talk about this after exam. Its already pretty late. Atleast catch sleep for four or five hous before exam. I don't want you sleeping in the middle of your exam"

Arthit again denied to take the suggestion
"No, I'll sleep after this,I promise. Knot or Prem will wake me up."

Kong sighed, it's no use trying to persuade him , Arthit can be stubborn as a bull whenever he wants to be

" Okay. But please do sleep at least four hours. okay?"

Arthit nodded in agreement. " Come here ..." He beckoned his boyfriend who took a few steps and bent towards him ,smiling Arthit placed a quick peck " Good night . "

Kong didn't go to his tutoring job today, after waking he got ready and went out to buy breakfast for Arthit and gang and pink milk for Arthit. Espesially before his exam Arthit needs his dose of pink milk .

After buying breakfast next greater task was to wake Arthit . 

"Arthit...." Kong sat by his bedside gentally calling his boyfeiend's name to wake him up but the later just snuggled more towards him, pulling his boyfriend's hand toward himself Arthit patted the empty place next to him in invitation for Kong to join him .

Kong shook his head in amazement , such a brat. Instead of waking up he was inviting him to sleep as well.

" What? " Kong questioned in stern voice. Again, Arthit pulled his hand and patted the space beside him. Kong withdrew his hand from Arthit's grip
"I'm not joining you Arthit. You have an exam to take Arthit. Come on, Wake up. " 

" Five more minutes..." Artht mumbled, voice groggy from sleep. 

" No five minutes, wake up..... come on..." Pacing a hand under his neck and another under crook of his knee,  Kong lifted him up and placed on the cold floor of the room. 

As cold seeped through the thin fabric of his sleepwear in to his, Arthit jerked up in to sitting position
  "Seriously, Kongpob? Do you have conscience? This is cold as fuck !"

Kong just shook his head in disapproval
" Don't start your morning with swearing. come on.... You have only an hour.....You go freshen up, I'll give this breakfast to your friends. I doubt they would have gone out to buy breakfast today. " 

Rubbing sleep from his eyes, Arthit smiled, a smile that reached his eyes and made his face glow " That's why I love you . "

Instantly after confessing his love , the soon to be engineer curled up on the floor, trying to find a position that would allow him to sleep comfortably.

Seeing him trying to curl up on the floor, Kong shook him vigorously
"wake up, Arthit .... You'll be late"

Arthit frowned at being brutally manhandled.

Waking up people by such vigorous shaking should be illegal,because it works .

" Now, I hate you" Arthit grumbled sitting up, his lips curled in pure displeasure.

Holding his arm, Kong made him stand up
" Good, go in to bathroom and while showering you can decide if you actually love me or hate me ,meanwhile I'll just give these breakfast to your friends "

Arthit wordlessly dragged his sleepy form in to shower .

When he came out if the shower, all clothed and fully awake. He saw Kong all donned in uniform, sitting in his bed.

" Arthit get ready quickly and come here for breakfast. "

" Ai Kong, I'll just drink pink milk na. I have something to revise last minute..."

Kong sighed. He thought wrong. Arthit is more nervous mess than he is before the exam.
" Okay. Let's do this, you revise your notes and I'll feed you. How about that ? " Kong asked.

Arthit took out pens from his bag and pocketed it
" You will be late for your class Ai Kong. I noticed you didn't go to wherever you go in the morning."

Kong raised an eyebrow at that
" And how did you notice while sleeping like a log ? "

" I didn't get my morning kiss. That's how . I'm not unconscious when sleeping Kongpob, I'm not that deep sleeper. It's just that sleep exerts greater force than what my mind applied to wake me up. So finally the system means me goes in sleep. Now, enough about my sleep. I have notes to revise. And you go to your class, lest they will  make you stand outside of the class like Suda does . "

" No, I won't be late if I take shortcut from Arts department. " Kong plated the breakfast and fed Arthit , while other male had his eyes pinned on notes, capturing everything in his mind."

Arthit raised his eyes when someone whistled at their door "Kongpob, Tootah ate my breakfast . Can I have some too Khrap ? " Bright asked giving his best puppy dog eyes.

" Go away. That's mine." Arthit growled.

" Chill dude. I'm talking about breakfast. " Bright argued.

Arthit pointed his index finger first to Kongpob then towards breakfast " Both mine."

" Of course we have an extra , you can take it."  Kong  passed bright the polythene.

" 40 baht " Arthit said, eyes pinned on notes.

Kong was surprised seeing the hustle and bustle in his department
"What's the occasion?" he asked one of his classmate. 

" Oh! You don't know? Proffesor announced this last week . Khun Dave Thaksirat is visiting the college. He will give a speech.  " 

What was he doing when teacher announced this? May be he was absent ? But then he didn't pay much attention in class one of these days. 

Kong was contemplating on his take towards the matter. What should he do ? Should he stay and take the chance of letting Thaksirat see him or should he slip away?

He was still contemplating when his professor approached him
"Kongpob, oh good I finally saw you, I have sent students to call you but they couldn't find you. As you kniw, Khun Thaksirat is visiting our college today, you know right. You will have to talk about the paper you presented and a bit about research we are doing right now. He is our biggest sponsor, it is important to show him we aren't wasting his money to continue our research funds."

Kong felt like gritting his teeth in annoyance, but in all his life after losing his parents one thing he had learnt is to keep his cool. " Sure, Professor" he smiled.

"He didn't know how this will affect his plans or if he will even live to avenge his parents after Thaksirat sees him personally. It was not exaggeration since he had tried to kill kong before, he was lucky enough to get away with  only broken leg. 

Taking a deep breath to calm his mind, Kongpob sent a quick text to Sam ' Thaksirat is in college, I'll have to give a presentation infront of him. Can't avoid.

'okay, stay clear of him afterwards and don't leave campus. I'll send someone ' 

'okay'

Kong saw Thaksirat's brow raised in shock as the name Kongpob Sutthiluk was announced by the host to present department's research activities and future plans in a nutshell. 

he felt Thaksirat's eyes boring in to him whole span of his spech, even after he finished Thaksiart's  eyes followed his every movement. 

As the program was concluded and crowd dispersed he was approached by Thaksirat himself
 "Kongpob....."
