I stood in front of the mirror, watching the tears go down my face.
Luckily, the washroom was empty so I didn't have to face weird and questioning glances.

Why couldn't I love myself the way I was?
Why couldn't everyone else love me for who I am?
This world could have been a better place, if this happened. But it's like clinging to a false hope. At the back of your head, you know that it's not going to happen.

I walked out of the washroom and headed towards my class.
As soon as I stepped inside, I saw Stefan sitting there.
I just ignored him and sat on my bench.
He probably read my face and made out that it would be the best for him if he didn't utter a word.

We just shared a glance and then looked away.
The bell rang which meant that soon everyone would be back.
I could give anything to not look at their faces.

Soon everyone was back and the room regained its buzz.
Obviously, I wasn't important enough to be talked about every time. Good for me!

Every now and then someone would pull my hair or throw pieces of chalk at me. I wasn't the only one being bullied. I could see some of the other new students being treated the same way like I was. But they had the guts to speak up in front of them.
I didn't.

Danielle really helped me to get accustomed to the happenings in school. Not the bullying of course!

I was also made fun of for not getting my legs waxed. I never really understood the logic.
Just because I'm a girl, I need to get this shit done. Yes by shit I mean getting my body hair waxed.
That's ridiculous.
Guys out there can grow an entire jungle and no one would bat an eye!

Not only boys, but even girls would mock me for the same because according to their 'beauty standards' my score appeared to be a negative.

I used to notice a few girls in my class who were dearly loved by their boyfriends.
I didn't envy them but I wondered if anyone would ever fall in love with me.
If any guy would ever think that I am pretty.
If someday, anyone would feel that I'm a lot more than my appearance....
